Lowe's review: Installing hot water heater

My wife and I purchased a hot water heater from Lowe's ($495) Lancaster, Ohio. Since I have a myriad of medical problems (copd, pad, heart disease, etc.), we wanted to have the tank installed - $779 to install the tank!
I am a retired plumber and to my memory, the most we ever charged was $250.
Even with my health issues, I took the risk and installed it myself. In spite of no longer having the tools or parts, it still only took me 1 1/2 hours. Let's see, that works out to be $389.50 an hour. Wow! Great work if you can get it!
