I selected valspar stain based on a 45$ rebate on each 5 gallon pail that I purchased. There was a 10$ rebate on a gallon. I purchased 3 five gallon pails and a gallon can over a couple weeks. They eventually sent me a check for 74.58$! The pails alone should have netted me 135$ plus a debate on the gallon. I would not have bought the stain for the price they wanted without the rebate! I'm going to take my business to home depot in the future! I have spent a boatload of money at Lowe's over the years and to be treated this way pisses me off!
