Recently I purchased a Delta Table Saw from Lowe's in Las Cruces, NM. I live in Roswell, NM. I ordered it online per instructions from the online representative saying it was the only one available and to confirm the order for pick up. I traveled to Las Cruces to pick up the item, I noticed the box was damaged and told the employees I was worried about the contents being damaged as I live in Roswell and there is no Lowes there. They assured me it would be OK, the straps that they lift the box with were what damaged the box. I took the item home and tried to put it together and it would not level, after inspecting the unit one of the tubular legs were dented therefore it was not able to be leveled. I contacted the Lowe's in Las Cruces talked to a Manager named Josh he said he would see what could be done, maybe new legs shipped to me. I waited for him to get back to me never got a response so I called Lowe's again this time I spoke to the Store Manager named Kevin, he said he had one at his location to come and exchange it, he said he would pay for gas maybe a pizza, I said to Kevin I am already late on some cabinets for a customer I am not going to be able to make it to Las Cruces till Sat. Feb. 27. I asked maybe he could cut the price in the form of a Lowe's gift card therefore the money is spent at Lowe's. I did ask if he could reduce by half the cost of the table on the card, and I would exchange it for the new one. He said there was no way he could do that. He said usually I would have had you bring it back and exchange it for nothing.
Desired outcome: Hopefully come to a resolution on this predicament.
