LG Electronics LG Refrigerator

Faulty shelves - almost all are cracking and main partners frig (not a shelf) aldo cracking. This is ridiculous. I will end up spending several hundred dollars on shelves with likelihood they will crack again. Cant. Put anything in frig shelves falling apart. Lg needs to stand behind their products improve product quality and reimburse me

There are numerous other complaints about this same issue.

LG Electronics LG Oled B7

Hello,
I purchased an LG Oled B6 TV from Best Buy in June of 2016. Shortly thereafter, I purchased insurance for this TV from a company called Square Trade through Costco. The TV performed beautifully until early in 2018 when a vertical line would appear on the left side of the screen. I called Square Trade and they verified that there was a hardware problem and sent me a brand new Oled B7 in March 2018. The manufacture date of this TV was also March 2018, so I know it was brand new. This B7 worked great until about a month ago, I noticed image retention, or "burn-in". I tried refreshing the pixels several times, but it did not fix the problem. I called LG Customer Service on May 15, 2021 to see if there was a known issue with this TV and they opened a case, #CNN210515648482. I received a call from Customer Service asking for the receipt for the TV. I explained that this was a replacement for a defective TV, so there was only the receipt for the original B6 TV. I was informed that if I didn't have a receipt for the damaged B7 TV, they couldn't help me. Since it was an insurance replacement, there is no receipt.
I write this to say that I love the picture quality of the LG Oled TV's but their reliability is very poor. I've had 2 Oled TV's that have gone bad in a 5 year period. Now I'm stuck with annoying burn-in. That's all I wanted to say. Thanks for listening.

LG Electronics Front Load Washer WM3900HBA Purchased 11/20/19

Less then 6 months of purchase, this machine had water coming out the front door causing significant water to flood the main floor laundry room & 2 other rooms in basement. This happened to us 3 times. After the 3rd time (May 2020), I submitted a claim to LG to reimburse me for the water cleanup. After multiple emails, phone calls and re-sending bill and photos, I still have not rec'd a response from them regarding status of this claim.

LG Electronics refrigerator

I purchased the refrigerator 2018 and the compressor went out 2020 I had to get that replaced. Then 02/2020 it stopped cooling again and we had to get it repaired again and I had to throw out $300 for the second time in groceries. After the technician came out to the house to repair the refrigerator we started to get a FDH error code on the refrigerator. We followed the instructions to unplug it defrost it and dry it out and plug in the refrigerator and wait 6-8 hours. We did all this and it still is giving us the error code. Called LG and they cannot find a service tech to repair it and they said that it would not be under warranty for this repair and they did not have anyone available to repair it. So, now we have to find our own repair person. What is sad is we pair over $2, 000 for this refrigerator.

Desired outcome: compensation for this lemon of a product.

Check with the retailer you purchased it through. Many offer additional warranty coverage that would help in this very situation.

LG Electronics Service, washing machine

PLEASE JUST PAS IT ON *** shame on you LG, sham…***

I have been waiting for this to be resolved since January 22, 2021. This now at the point of 2 visits by an untrained employee. I could not tell you how many phone calls. And now 3 weeks ago, my refund check for a washer LG Signature Washer Dryer Combo. I purchased the extra protection warranty as well. I Paid $3200.00 (can you live that) I have mailed a seal with the S/No. 809KWSB2E422. Model # LUWM101HAW. Product Code:FH6G1BAPK21.ABWEEUS. I was told by many of your staff members the words "Sorry Sir for the inconvenience ". I can say with the most empathy for the employees of LG that I am so sorry that they are working for a multi-national corporation that has no support or customer etiquette. Employees that are left with no power to keep its re-turning customers. Nor will they run to the next competitor. I loved my new LG Signature washer &dryer combo. But in what world would I take the chance of again, on this kind of customer service. Shame on you! Shame on you, not to trust and give your staff the dignity to service, your departing revenue/customers. I even had one of your team players tell me "WE HERE AT LG SIGNATURE - are so very sorry for having to say sorry over and over to me, and so many others" she was embarrassed. I was embarrassed for her as well. No one wants to always be on the losing team. I believe there is always a second chance. But come on 90 Days +?

LG Electronics Mismatched handles on appliances

We are currently in the process of a kitchen renovation. We ordered all new LG appliances, bc we wanted all colors and handles to match.
Upon receiving the appliances, the handles on the microwave, dishwasher, and wall oven do not match the color of the handles on the
refrigerator. The store that sold us the appliances agree that there is a discrepancy, as does the rep who came from ASAP Solutions to
assess the situation. I have called LG on Thursday and talked to a girl by the name of Gen, who said she would check into the situation and get back to me. She has not gotten back to me yet. I called again today and talked to another person who tried to connect me to the dishwasher contact. She told me I would have to talk to a different person for each appliance. I do not care to repeat the same story to three different people about the same problem on each appliance. Plus, when I got transferred, I got disconnected. Attached is a picture of our problem. I have received replacement handles, but they are the same mismatched color as the ones I presently have. We need for the handles on for the dishwasher, microwave, and wall oven to match the handles of the refrigerators. ASAP Solutions told me that LG informed them that they are the correct ones. THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! We want all handle colors to match the color of the refrigerator handles. The handles on the other three appliances not only mismatch the refrigerator handles, they also don't match the appliance color. Please help us in resolving this problem. We. LG Electronics Refrigerator

I purchased a refrigerator in 2107 the top of the line with a 5 year warranty. In July of 2020 it just stopped cooling. I called LG as the store where I bought it Orvilles said it must go through LG customer service. This is where my nightmare begins the first tech they sent several weeks after my initial call came said he would need to order all kinds of parts so we waited for the to come in before we could set the next appt. so now we are in August the tech comes out spends several hours putting all the new parts in and it seems to be working after 24 hours. One week goes by and it stops cooling again. Schedule another technician through LG customer care and he spends several hours on the refrigerator and says it is not repairable and that he will submit the information to LG but that I should also call. So I call and spend over an hour with being transferred several times and having the calls dropped having to call back they agree to send me a refund and to remove the refrigerator. I waited for the refund purchased a new refrigerator and prayed I would not have to EVER call them again. Well today feeling like I was duped I picked up the phone to see where my refund was. The nightmare starts the first call was to a representative named RJ he hangs up on me no call back. Then I talk to Karen she tells me at first that because it was in August she needed to set up another technician visit then I tell her please come get your appliance and send me a refund. Then she transfers me to a department that hangs up on me. So I call back get another rep who says she has to transfer me then I get Grace and she tells me all she can do is send a technician so I wait for her to schedule and she disconnects no call backs. This is a joke of company and will never purchase LG again. I will also share my story with anyone who is looking for appliances do not use LG there criminals! I'm so glad I purchased extended warranty that Orvilles Appliance was so motivated to upswell me! All I have to say in all my years of being a consumer this company is the absolute worst and should be ashamed of there business model.

LG Electronics Gas Range

I have requested for an LG Technician to come and check my 5 month old stove because of concern about color of oven flame. It is like pulling teeth to have a technician check this out. I have the right to have it checked since it is so new and I paid a pretty price for it. The call center tried to talk me out it, and today, an LG rep stated that this is normal - I WANT CONFIRMATION THAT THIS IS NORMAL! I was told I might be charged a service charge - I will complain to any agency I can if this happens.

LG Electronics TV

I purchaed two (2) LG TVs one year ago. One has performed flawlessly, the other has been nothing but problematic.

Problems include: device will not power up; video pixelated/distorted; audio inoperative; HDMI will not connect.

Incompetent technicians have not resolved the problem, but have made the problems worse. The method if diagnosis is guessing, and the problem will be inaccurately blamed on peripheral, non-warrantable items such as a power strip, cables; the retail seller, etc. LG refuses to accept responsibility for anything or to honor the written warranty.

I was considering buying LG kitchen appliances for two (2) homes, but not anymore.

LG is a sub-standard product and their customer support and willingness to stand behind their product is shameful.

I will never, under any circumstances, purchase another LG product.

LG Electronics Bad service in Portugal

Sirs,
On the 4th of last month, I asked LG Portugal, by phone, to send a technician to repair a washing machine LG WD-1485 FD, for which I indicated the faulty material : I was unable to open the machine door after washing, despite to press it in any way.
I was informed via phone that the repair cost included the technician's travel (25.00 € + VAT) and if parts were needed, this amount would be paid separately. I accepted the conditions, hoping that the machine would be repaired. Unfortunately that is not what happened.
As soon as the technician came over and got close to the machine, I felt that he already knew what he was going to find and had already prepared the speech to deal with the situation, as he immediately called someone in the company, informing, I quote "This is that machine that there no spare parts any more and so, I can do nothing", and received as an answer"Tell the customer that you are sorry but this machine is already discontinued and there are no parts for it".
Frustrated with the situation, I asked the technician to, at least, open the door of the machine so that I could remove the clothes that were inside, practically dry, since the washing cycle was complete with centrifugation and thus, there would be no danger of flooding. And so it happened, the technician limited himself to removing the top panel of the machine and putting his hand inside, burst the opening block with a screwdriver, I emphasize, it burst the door opening block, thus, allowing its opening. This operation did not take more than 1.5 minutes!
A self-respecting company, providing a professional, honest and competent service, on top of that, already in possession of the information previously communicated by the customer, such as the make and model of the machine and the nature of the damage, should, right from the start, inform the customer, as far as the product in question, that there would be a strong possibility of not being repaired as it had already been discontinued. By doing so, would likely avoid the technician's travel and, consequently, the cost to be paid by the customer for that travel.
Not happy with that and in the quest for easy profit, I was charged in addition to travel (25.00 € + VAT) the labor (25.00 + VAT). But what kind of labor are we talking about? As I previously informed and I repeat, the technician limited himself to removing the top cover and with a screwdriver burst with the door opening block (1.5 minutes!). Total amount charged: € 61.50. The most shocking and difficult to accept, I didn't see my problem solved, because I had to buy another machine!
I was deeply disgusted with this outcome, especially for not having the machine repaired and in addition to that, for finding a true theft, the amount that was charged to me, given what happened.
I am therefore going to send a letter in English to LG International International, informing them about this episode and give them knowledge, about the way the LG customer is treated in Portugal by their representatives, when they need their services. I will even inform them that, as far as I am concerned, LG products are definitely crossed out of my buying preferences.

LG Electronics Microwave

My brand, new microwave came with my house and stopped working after 6 months. A technician has been to my house 3 times to tell them it doesn't work and replace the parts. After two months, it still doesn't heat up. I have called customer services only to be told the technician has to come back to my house to tell them it's I repairable, so they can try to give me a solution maybe.

LG Electronics LG top load washer WT7300CW

I purchased an Lg washer and it was delivered on 1/28/21. From the first load of laundry it was loud, vibrating, and banging. Service came out on 3/9/21, didn't know what was wrong, but pulled up a work order from LG and came today to replace a washer underneath the actual washer. While replacing that found out that the stator is broken and needs repaired. I was told that it is a part that houses wires next to the motor. I called LG and they just want to keep repairing it. I paid $1000 for the washer and since it was defective from the moment it was delivered, I am not ok with just repeatedly servicing the washer. Now the washer is completely inoperable until they order the part and can have someone come back out again! I'm already at 5 hours of my life gone for service on a brand new washer, now I will have to add extra hours waiting. This is not acceptable and LG clearly doesn't stand by their products! Extremely disappointed and will NEVER buy another LG! Videos of the brand new washer attached!

LG Electronics refrigerator

We bought this refrigerator in December of 2019, so it's currently 1 year and 4 months old...

One month ago the refrigerator starting making a terrible noise. We called LG and they told us we needed to turn it off for 24 hours because the compressor fan had frozen over. The compressor is still under warranty, so they were kind enough to let us know the problem over the phone rather than send out a technician they'd have to pay for. Obviously this is a pretty common issue with their product... So, took our cooler (and a few more from kind neighbors) and placed all our food into them and let it thaw for a day and the problem was resolved.

A couple of days ago the refrigerator started randomly beeping. We realized the buttons in the middle "CustomChill" drawer were not lighting up and were not functional. Again, seems like a common problem after a cursory google search. We called LG, and their only solution was to send out an LG tech, who would charge us $129 simply to come out and diagnose the problem. OOF! It seems like if you have this problem it may be an issues with a loose connection so I checked that. The connection is reinforced with electrical tape around it! Unbelievable! Unfortunately re-seating the connection didn't solve our problem. So we're stuck having to call an independent repair person to fix this.

This refrigerator was $2, 800 and is 1 year and 4 months old. We're so disappointed.

LG Electronics Surround sound

We bought an LG surround unit on December 29, 2019, at Best Buy for 470.11. We had it for about 2 months before we noticed that the speakers we cutting out. We have sent it back 4 times in a year. LG has had it more than we have. LG STILL has the system. We are asking for our 470.11 to be returned to us. Just give us our money back. Brian Eitemiller [protected]

So, instead of someone contacting us to rectify the sound system complaint, they send the sound system back after having it for four months. DO NOT BUY LG PRODUCTS! Customer service isn't helpful, there is never any communication if you send products in for repair, repairs are not completed or are sub par. The guy answering these complaints DOES NOT CARE and nothing gets resolved. 470.11 dollars later, maybe 3.5 months in our possession since date of purchase, and they send back the same POS system with no communication, paperwork as to what is wrong or repaired. Shame on them!

Hello Mr. Blake, The following information is a way of contact: Brian Eitemiller -2905 Sweet Pea Lane/P.O. Box Humboldt AZ 86329. Email: eitemiller@gmail.com. The surround sound system: LG SL6YG 3.1CH HIGH RES SOUND and LG - SPK8-S 2.0 CH WIRELESS R. Unfortunately, LG is currently in possession of the system to provide a serial no. Our purchase date was December 29, 2019. January 2021 was the fourth time we sent back the system for speaker malfunction (fading in and out or cutting out completely). The first time we sent the system for repair was late March-early April 2020. LG would have the system for well over two months before we would call to inquire. We never received any calls regarding the problem or repair. We would receive the system back about a week or two after our inquiry again, without any explanation. We would have it for a week or two when the issue would return. We sent it back three more times for the same issues which as stated the last date was January 2021. Each time we sent it back, it would be with LG for an average of two months - sometimes three. We did not have it in our possession as much as LG has. We have never offered a new system throughout this process - which is now an offer we would not accept - nor were we ever offered our money back.
We have called customer service several times, not only to inquire about the system when in possession of LG but to achieve an amicable outcome to our inconvenience and to provide us with the return of our monies in the amount of 470.11. We are told that since the system is a year old, and that the issue was not brought to management's attention until March 2021 when I called, we would be given a pro-rated amount of 300.00. Just so that you are informed, several calls were made by my husband prior to my phone call on March 11, 2021. LG customer service reps are not that helpful. They are/were not willing to allow us to speak with supervisors or managers, nor are they willing to give names. It wasn't until we escalated the calls that we finally got a manager which was March 22, 2021. We are seeking the litigation process in order to obtain our purchase amount, especially since we were given a 30-day limit to discuss a "take it or leave it" for the amount of 300.00 offered. Not to mention, since LG is still in possession of our purchased system and we have not received any reasonable or acceptable amount for our purchase we are considering this a theft.

LG Electronics LG DeHumidifier

I ordered a De Humidifier on 3/9/21. The unit was shipped on 3/10/21. I received the unit on 3/12/21 (Friday). I realized that the unit was not what I needed and called to return it on 3/15/21 (Monday) The order number is [protected]//[protected] (As referenced on an e-mail) On 3/16/21 LG CNS e-mailed me a note saying that a RMA would be issued within 72 hours. I have not yet received that RMA. On 3/19/21 I called because I had not received my RMA and was told I would receive it in 24-48 hours. Now, on 3/21/21, I have still not received the RMA. I want to return this unit as soon as possible.

LG Electronics LG Stove

We bought our stove a little under two years ago. The locked came on for no explainable reason and the buttons on the board do not work. We called LG and asked for a repairman. They came and it turns out that to replace the board and get the necessary parts will be almost $600! So disappointed! We will not get it fixed for that amount since we can almost get a new one. Will not buy another LG again.

LG Electronics Poor service From Sam Kittie

I hope this will reach someone who will be able to help me and get me some satisfaction because I have been calling this company at the corporate level and not getting any where my range that I purchased in August of 2020 stop working a month ago they sent two of the technicians out I was told by both of them it was a main components that it could be the Brian was how it was told to me I called and spoke with a very very disrespectful representative by the name of sam at [protected] she refused to allow me to speak to someone over her she played all kinds of games like calling back and not saying anything then I called an spoke to a secretary name Heather who told me she was emailing Sam supervisor for more then a week for me to never get a response then I get someone from that same number on the phone name Katie who assured me that I was getting a refund I just was waiting for the refund department to reach out to me to find out if I wanted a paper check or direct deposit that would happen in 30 days I also still asked to speak to a supervisor because I still was not happy about how sam treatment was to me Katie said a Randy would call me the supervisor she also told me the approval for the refund was put in at 4:47 pm on the 22nd of February after a more then a week past no call from Randy so I call back speaking to a aryanna to be told nothing that I was told by Katie was true after that I was completely disappointed in this company because if I had not called back I'm sure it would have really been a problem because I'm being treated like I'm trash I don't want a group of different people in and out of my home in covid 19 because this company is not good at customer service I think I deserve a replacement unit an I sorry I ever brought anything from lg because to be misled mistreated misinformed by people in corporate office is saying a lot I I even had be to by the 1-800 hundred lg representative I was getting a refund because Home Depot where I purchased my range from doesn't do replacements I have never been treated so poorly by a company if this magnitude it's almost unbelievable it wasn't happening to me I probably would've not believed it I really hope it is just a few bad people in their company and I can get some customer service the people give a customer that has 4 big applications from a company because if this is the end of how things are going to go I will never do business with LG ago I can't believe the it would be ok to out right misinform a customer or tell me it's no one else I can voice my dissatisfaction to is what Sam informed me of an to call my phone when I say hello she acts as if she can't hear me the customer service is beyond deplorable [protected] is my contact number I'm hoping that the unprofessional treatment will stop after I send because it's really been difficult to be cooking on a stove that after a hour or so you go back to check your food and the oven is off I have been suffering with this for more then a month to be told lie after lie it's unexpected and unbelievable but I guess this has been done enough that people like Sam are comfortable treating people this way and have a coworker help her mislead and lie to the customer
