LG Electronics LG front loading machine / CEO of LG Egy

I requested LG online advise to buy a brand new front load washing machine, and it was clear i want to buy from LG not from agent they provided contact and location, i followed their advice and bought the machine from LG branch located in Mall of Arabia in Jizah governor

After couple of days delivery tram call to hand over the device my wife went downstairs and find the device was allocated as a second raw above another device she highlighted that to delivery team they said we are a professional team and dont worry she want back and they off loaded the device and drooped at my apartment then with no respect they open the packaging box and ask her to sign the delivery note she refused to sign and they left, then she inspected visually the device and found some damage on the body due to handling

Prior the washing machine delivery she was booked an appointment for installation she called customer care to inform about the issue, they said that we will send our technician on time and in case of rescheduling the visit it will charged back to you, therefore it is better to let him come and raise the report, the techncian came next day and installed the machine and thirteen my wife in case of complain to consumer protection sotscity you will not get anything as you already accept and approve the installation which was not happen in case of delivery and installation

I dropped email to LG CEO in Egy to assign team to resolve my issue and do investigation for that case, and i was surprised when i received his answer

We are sorry replacement is not possible and case closed

I was not requesting and refund or replacement i requested respect and investigation

But right now i need replacement plus compensation because of the very bad behavior from all LG team from the delivery team upto the CEO

LG Electronics Gas range

I filed a claim to have my gas range oven repaired, they told me they would send someone to repair it on Friday, August 12, 2022. I waited all day and when no one showed up, I called LG Premium Care Asurion and they told me they could not find anyone in my area. I would have to wait 3 to 5 days to see if they could find someone. When told them I needed my oven they told me maybe in two days no grantee.

This is not the way to do business I paid for an extended warranty and I would like to be serviced.

Desired outcome: My range oven was repaired.

LG Electronics Dishwasher

RNN220728059102 [ NEW WORK ORDER NUMBER ]

We bought this brand new LG Dishwasher 2 months ago [June 2022] with Home Depot. After the installation, we perhaps was able to use this brandnew machine not more than 3x. On the third wash, it just suddenly stopped. No error code whatsoever. Home Depot tried to assist with us but gave up with LG's very poor customer service that we ended up following up ourselves. We had to wait for a technician at least 2.5 weeks before they were able to send one after about 2 weeks of going back and forth between Home Depot and LG. Upon the arrival of the techinician, it was ruled out an electric circuit board that is defective. I was told within a week we will have the repair done. After a week I called and followed up with A GO APPLIANCE REPAIR and was informed that LG did not authorize the purchase of the parts! NO one called us and informed us that it was not authorized! We had to follow up numerous times hence the new work number. LG Finally got their act together and authorized it and we had to wait about two again. Yesterday was when the electrician tried to fix the dishwasher and even caused a small fire inside my house due to the circuit board he said. From yesterday he's also saying now there's the water sensor that needs also defective after 3 hours not to mention he was extremely late with his appt. Adrian the techncian informed us yesterday that the whole machine is defective that we should ask for a REFUND and or REPLACEMENT of the machine. I called A GO applicance and followed up with it and just informed me that they are sending another technician for another OPINION on the 24th of August? What the heck is going on? That's another 2 and a half weeks of wait of what? JUst another opinion? We brought a brand new DISHWASHER that wasnt even used for a month. I AM DEMANDING FOR A FULL REFUND/REPLACEMENT ASAP!

Desired outcome: Full refund or replacement of the machine without delay!

LG Electronics Delayed repairs refrigerator lmxs2862s/01

On August 8 2022 my LG LMXS2862S/01 ceased to cool and freeze. Started a service request and was contacted by a repair service in my area. However I was informed that it would be August 25th before a repair person could get to my unit. Considering this as unacceptable, I called customer service and was told they had someone available on August 12th. When no contact was made by a service tech, I again contacted LG customer service on August 10th and was informed that it has been scheduled for August 22nd not August 12th. this would put me without a refrigerator for 2 weeks. I again Contacted LG customer service and was told they would try to expedite my repairs. The issue is why is this even an issue? We are talking about repair, which is common with appliances, with a two week delay? We have some very expensive meds that have to be refrigerated. Buying ice, about 200 pounds so far, and storing items in coolers is costing time and money. I was informed that LG has no provision for loaner units.

Desired outcome: Repair the unit on August 12th 2022 or sooner.

LG Electronics LP1419IVSM.AT1AUSH Portable Air conditioner- no tracking

I purchased an air conditioner on LG.com on July 25th. It is now August 9th and I still have not received a working tracking number from LG. Since 8/1 I have called customer service in hopes they can retrieve the working and correct tracking number only to be told on 8/1, 8/3 8/5 and 8/9 that they could not locate the package and believe Fedex has it. I was then told that I would need to contact Fedex however with no tracking number they point me right back into the circle of LG customer service. I have not received 'a call back or a viable option to find a solution. I do not know if the package is coming or if I can receive a refund. When I bring up order status, it continues to push back further every day which tells me they don't know where this package is. How can a company this large have such low standards for customer service. The products are expensive as it is, you could simply help the customers that help you stay in business. Just a thought.

Desired outcome: I want my air conditioner and if you cant provide that I want a full refund

LG Electronics Front Load Washing Machine

I purchased a front load set on August 21, 2021. Lowe's installed within a couple of days and things were fine for a few months. In late March of 2022, during a normal wash cycle, the entire tub of water emptied on my laundry area in our master suite upstairs. Needless to say, I not only had a washing machine failure but damage to areas below. After a 50 minute conversation with LG Customer Service, and after I had jumped thru all the hoops they required, a tech was assigned for service. The tech has been professional, courteous and apologetic for LG"s response to the manufacturers defect discovered in the drainpipe area of the Outer Tub Cover and the numerous other repairs he has made. The first repair was a hose connecting the drainpipe and the drain pump, this was not the problem. Upon further examination, the tech discovered a quarter size hole in the Outer Tub Cover Drainpipe. It looked like heat melted the plastic piping, needless to say, all the water that left the washing tub poured out into my home. On April 4 the Outer Tub Cover was replaced, this is a very large tub that required the machine to be disassembled. After this repair on April 8, the seal on the door leaked , part ordered and repaired April 11. On May 5 the machine lost the spin feature in all wash cycles. This led to a dispute with LG, I wanted a new machine but only had a Credit Card receipt, all of my requests for compensation for damages due to a defect in the Outer Tub, and also hoping to get a replacement for this lemon were all rejected by LG. Finally I asked for the spin cycle to be repaired, today August 5th 2022 the tech came to install a new PC Board. Surprise, this did not fix the spin issue so now LG is sending a new motor. It seems there is a sensor that is skipping the spin for every wash cycle. I have had -New Rubber Drain Hose-Outer Tub Cover-Door Seal-PC Board- and soon a new motor. This on a machine less than a year old. It really is a joke now, comical but also pathetic. What a piece of junk, and I am still working to get my ceiling and lighting repaired from the water damage.

Desired outcome: I need to be compensated for ceiling damage , light fixture, and flooring in laundry area, all caused by the defective drainpipe area of the Outer Tub Cover. reimbursement for 4 weeks laundry, and a FREE 1 extra year warranty on Set.

LG Electronics webOS TV SK8000PUA

We have been having all sorts of issues with channels not being available due to signal loss. This morning woke up to no PBS. I checked the LiveTV guide and all the PBS channels do not show. I went into the settings to reset them into the guide, and they are not there either. I tried to get help online via LiveChat and waited 15 minutes for someone to begin the chat... nothing. I searched their website for anything on this or a similar issue, but found nothing. Channel availability and streaming are becoming more of an issue with every one of their 'updates.' Their LG channels repeatedly have connection issues too. We have checked both our satellite dish and cables for the LiveTV, they are picking up and sending good to excellent signal.

LG Electronics LG front load washer

I purchased this front load washer from lowe's in August of 2021. In late March of 2022 , while in a wash cycle, the entire tub of water poured out from under the washer onto my floor. Since the unit is in an upstairs suite it damaged the ceiling in two areas below and shorted out a light and switch. The process of getting a tech scheduled was not friendly to the customer, however the LG tech did come and he was very good. First repair on the 9 month old machine was a tub to pump rubber drain hose. This did not fix the leak, eventually was discovered that the Outer Tub Cover Drainpipe had developed a quarter size hole. A new Outer Tub Unit was ordered and a few days later it was put in. BTW, at this point I had been 2 weeks without a washer, this is a nine month old washer. In order to replace the Outer Tub Cover and Drainpipe the front, back and top of the machine was disassembled, and then put back together. Note, this hole in the drainpipe was inside the machine, it was a manufacturer's defect. After it was reassembled the seal on the front door leaked. So another part was ordered, and a few days later the door seal was replaced. I had now been without a washer for total of 3 weeks. At this point I was alarmed and felt that it would be affected by such a major repair. On May 5, 2022, about 3 weeks after the door seal was repaired the washer's Spin Cycle failed. It will not spin in any cycle. I called LG Customer Service immediately, i informed them that rather than another repair (4th) I would rather have a new machine. After 12 days of back and forth texts, ( now almost 6 weeks total without a washer) I was informed that they would repair it. I refused the repair,, but having only a credit card receipt as proof of purchase LG has rejected all my requests for replacement. I find it hypocritical that service calls and repairs are provided with a credit card proof of purchase but LG will not replace a defective machine with credit card only receipt. Furthermore, this is a defect in the washer, a internal drainpipe failed and water flooded a part of my home and I believe LG should be responsible. It is now August 1st, , two requests for repairs or compensation for damage has been rejected. and my New Washer still will not spin. This has been an extremely insulting experience, as well as inconvenient. I'm 62 year old and I have never dealt with a major company who refused to replace a defective product and take responsibility for damage caused by a product failure. The washer's warranty will expire in 3 weeks, I know the Spin Cycle is under warranty, (it failed May 5) but any other issues will not be covered after August 21 I take responsibility for the delay in repairing the spin cycle, I really hoped to get a new machine not repair this one again. But I am willing to compromise on getting repaired but expect LG to take responsibility for a hole in the Outer Tub Drainpipe which flooded a part of my home. ( i have pics of the damaged outer cover tub drainpipe)

Desired outcome: Please repair or replace the washer, pay for repairs to be made to my home. pics sent to customer service in April. Reimburse for 5 wks of laundry

LG Electronics LG Refrigerator

purchased the refrigerator 6/10/2021 I have a problem with the food section not cooling and the freezer section filled with frost I have to empty the whole refrigerator of all food for a second time in the last week, i have a small refrigerator in my garage so i was able to save some of the food. this is a known problem with your product but not mentioned consumers need resolution to this problem with your product

LG Electronics LG Fridge

It has been a ride. Our LG fridge has died. compressor is bad. We called LG to have it fixed since it's only been 5 years that we have owned our fridge that was purchased brand new. We have a technician sent to us the next day which felt promising. When the tech came, he figured out what was wrong and then told us that it would be weeks before he could get the part, but LG had a personal Techs that have the part and to ask to have them assist us. As he finished his statement, he gave us the number to call back the call center and request just that. When the phone support center person heard what was going on he then requested to talk to the tech that was there on hand. The phone support person proceeded to argue on the phone in front of us to the Tech that was there and arguing that it was his job to fix it and they were not going to send out a person to help.

Once the conversation ended and the tech guy left, we had recalled seeing if we could talk to someone else because the whole situation was really unprofessional and made us feel like we were dealing with a cheap company. The phone support person we had this time insured us that someone would be out in a week with the part. I have special diet needs due to health and allergies and with the way the market is for food we already have thrown away $250 worth of food and had to go out of pocket to buy a mini fridge just to keep food in the house for ourselves and our children which was another $300.

The next week date rolls around and there was a No call No show from that tech guy. waited the full 5-hour window that we were told they would show and nothing. Here we are the next day we reach out to Call support for LG again and this time the guy was really unprofessional with the whole call. Making remarks on the sounds in the background, telling us that we need to call, arguing about the missed appointment. In the end instead of helping us and trying to figure something out he just text us the number of the tech that was supposed to come and tells us to call and that there is nothing else he can do. We are now without a fridge for two weeks, $550 out of pocket that shouldn't have been spent for and item under warranty and no one willing to help or be competent enough to do what they are supposed to do as "Call Support".

Desired outcome: Fix our Fridge our reimburse us to buy a new one plus the money out of our pockets that we have waisted or had to spend.

LG Electronics OLED TV- A1-55 inches

Bought TV in January '22 at Best Buy. TV died on May 8th, under the 1 year warranty. First call to LG on May 9th. dozens of calls later with excruciating wait times, we are still waiting for refund. LG has received the required receipts, photos of the black screen with green line, finally the scan of the peeled serial number label from TV. In late May, the automatic response said that our check (for $1100) would follow shortly. Still nothing and LG is not communicating. I was just accidently disconnected today by the agent after she checked on my case (switched out of the music) I had waited 1h 44min to get to her.

LG Electronics Washing machine WT7800CW

We bought the LG WT7800CW washing machine because we assumed that LG products we good and reliable. Well that is not the case.

We washed some clothes and after removing the items, we noticed "grease" marks on several items.

We scratched our heads and didn't think anymore about it. But it happened again and again and again and again.

I took my white shower curtain and placed it in the washer for a test.

Yep! The white shower curtain had grease spots on several places of it. It was grease.

I contacted LG and got a total and complete run around wasting almost an entire day. One person claimed that the grease is coming from the water. HUH? If that was the case, then our dishes from the dishwasher would have grease on them and when we take a shower, there would be grease on our body.

Desired outcome: Fix it. That is, stop the grease going onto our clothes, etc.

I do not use nor familiar with Facebook. And why am I to use "social media" on a repair issue? Sounds unprofessional for a company as large as LG. No telephones nor humans at your offices?

We bought this washer because we "thought" LG was a good product. Well, when we wash a load of clothes, there would be grease spots on a couple of the items. Interesting to say the least.

This went on for a while and then I took our white shower curtain and placed it in the washer.

After it went though it's cycles, I looked at the shower curtain and there was streaks of grease on the curtain. We have a problem Houston.

I contacted customer support, etc. with LG and kept going around and around in circles. At one point the representative said the grease was coming from our water. HUH? You have got to be kidding me!

If that was the case, then it would appear on our dishes from the dishwasher and on our bodies when we took showers.

I would never, ever buy another LG product again. And the company needs to work on their customer service.

LG Electronics LG Refrigerator

Dear Sir/Madam,

I purchased a LG Refrigerator size 35inch model # LMXS30776D, side by side 4 door in May of 2016.

In July 2019 refrig. stopped working replaced compressor.

In Nov. 2019 refrig. not cold enough food going bad. repaired back panel.

In Dec. 2021 compressor went bad again replaced compressor AGAIN.

In July 2022 compressor went AGAIN replaced AGAIN.

I'm really tired of throwing out FOOD. We are on a fixed income SS. I*n all our years have never ever had such a problem. All of our appliances & TV are LG don't have any problem with them. Something has to be done about this refrigerator. We can't keep on like this.

Please advise us

LG Electronics Lmxs27626s refrigerator - a lemon?

LG refrigerator LMXS27626S completely stopped cooling in March 2022

LG gave wrong service company details - adding to delays

LG company technician serviced it on 3/16/22 replacing sealed system

In less than 3 months Fridge stopped cooling again.

LG deputed Asurion to repair, who have replaced the sealed cooling system again on 6/21/22

Even the second service failed in 10 days! Yes the fix failed twice!

From July2 to this day 12July 22, I have been contacting LD president and Service President at least a dozen times! the issue is not resolved yet.

LG deputed another service company AE factory service to repair it 7/11 between 12-5pm. The technician from AE Didn't show up.

AE says the next appointment is after 2 weeks. which means to survive in this hot summer without LG (sic) fridge for 26 days?

LG = Life's Good. But I see Incompetence, Defective Product and Irresponsibility even at the highest leadership level.

Ive waited 2 months a&e repairman come to put new board in which he dai less tham min fried the board again now they say replace compressor and board guess what another month before he can come not satisfied witth 3 months to have frige aug 11 is next service

LG Electronics Misleading and deceitful print on packaging.

To whom it may concern:

I was just diagnosed with lancer of the my lung and facing a long and painful treatment and knowing that, I bought my first smart TV at Walmart to ease the boring treatment as I will be confined to a bed...an LG '554UQ70' and after unboxing and attempting to put it to 1st use, I realized that the remote that came with it was a cheap simple 'dumb tv remote' , then went on line and found that what was missing was LG's smart 'magic remote' [@ $50+] for my new smart toy to be fully functional and I'm a bit pissed off at LG corp. for not mentioning the need for another remote to do it's job and deceiving your customers by the 'super small print'.

I was assuming from the print on the box packaging that I would have a fully functional smart tv. I read the print on the box as carefully as I could and didn't see the super small and carefully disguised disclaimer that to be a fully functional smart tv, I would have to purchase a 'magic remote' separately

I have been posting my complaint and a warning to others on public forums and reviews about my experience with LG in misleading and hiding that disclaimer of not being a smart tv cleverly disguised with the smallest print on the box [white print on a light colored background]

I've bought many tvs over the years and all had the proper fully functional remote in the box.

I would call that misleading and obviously well hidden to anyone with normal eyes.

Is this fair and honest labeling?

BTW, over the years I have owned several of your excellent products and will continue to support your company and buy your products if you do the right thing to a loyal customer.

I have posted my warning on 2 reviews and forums already and will continue to post more as I find the venues and will do a youtube video review with my experience until I hear from LG that they will give me a free correct'magic remote' at their expense, so the sooner I hear this, that will stop the bad publicity from me.

Monday, I will contact 'Consumer Reports' and only you can stop the negative reports from me by giving me fair compensation.

LG Electronics Refrigerator Compressor

June 30,2022 refrigerator stopped cooling, I called a local repair service. I was told it was the compressor LG settled a Class Action suit and the compressor is still under warranty. Unfortunately it was only an LG authorized repair dealer that can perform the needed repair. I called LG(Philippines) they created a work order with A&E with a repair date of August 19 but that was just a “hold” until A&E gives me the actual date. I didn’t hear from A&E so I went out to their website where I created an early repair date August 18.

I called LG(Ohio)customer service again about the date and they said that was unacceptable and they would get me an earlier date. They cancelled the A&E order but didn’t give me an earlier date.

I called back to LG(Philippines) they said they have yet to find a repair shop with an earlier date.

I called back to LG(Philippines), when I didn’t get any type of answer I ask to speak to a Supervisor. They said a supervisor will call me back within an hour.

12 hours later I called LG(Ohio). I explained the situation they passed me on to someone else(Philippines). Unfortunately the person they gave me only worked on non-warranted products. That person passed me on to someone else(Philippines) that person set up an appointment with A&E with a work order date of August 25.

Needless to say I’m done with LG.

Desired outcome: Lost a week after looking for an earlier date.

LG Electronics WT7800CW

This expensive 2-year-old clothes washer started to cast off black flecks after the first few loads of wash. The dealer indicated that soap and possible mold build-up was the cause, despite the unit being less than two weeks old. The problem became worse over time and today warranted our calling for servicing to determine the cause of the grime being discharged all over our clothes despite cleaning the unit according to LG guidance. The repair technician indicated he found bearing failure and grease leakage that was smeared all over the interior of the unit and clinging to the stainless-steel drum. He indicated it was not worth repairing and the defect had been there when purchased. Ironically, we encouraged our two neighbors to buy the same washer/dryers and theirs are working flawlessly. We're seniors on a fixed income who spent more than $2,000 on our LG washer/dryer pair and expected more than two years of quality service. A ten-year motor warranty isn't of much value if other part failures render the unit unrepairable after only two years. What, if any are our options? This isn't right and a horrible statement on the durability of LG washers, especially in light of the high consumer ratings that drew is to purchase an LG washer and dryer. Any timely consideration would be appreciated, as we have to travel a substantial distance to reach a laundromat and as seniors on a fixed income, purchasing another unit after only two years is really going to hurt.

Desired outcome: No cost repair or replacement of the unit.

LG Electronics LG dishwasher, electric stove

On 5/31/2018 purchased 4 new appliances from Home Depot. Had a dishwasher for 2 years and it quit working. Checked the different areas as recommended in the book and whoever I talked to on phone at customer service. So now I am out of 2 appliances. Still not working and of course, the warranty was over. Now my stove has stopped working. Started with the touch panel for the blacktop burners. Would let me turn burners on but could not turn them off. Had to unplug the stove to get burners to go off (a huge safety issue). Tried to use the oven and could turn on the control, but when I touch the start key, would not work. Should last longer, cannot afford to replace range oven control board and range control panel and overlay. I will not be able to replace these appliances due to health issues that are taking most of my money. When I do replace these appliances, it will never be an LG appliance. Desired outcome: A response would be nice with you offering to help replace the parts or appliances. Can not do without a stove. Should last longer with the price I paid . A very unhappy customer. I pray my refrigerator and microwave continue to operate.

I am Frustrated and sending you this last Email ?

WHY a customer is facing such issue where 26 call , emails and so many messages has been sent and no issue provided I have purchased 2 new Window 5 star 1.5 AC , Gaurcity , mahagun Mywood noida , One is not providing cooling i Complained Service Engineer Cane and told that there is AC GAS Leakage etc and they need to take to LG service center ,and 3 week back they took for service and after 2 days they came back installed and gone without checking saying its working I have to run it all the Night and confirm , form that time to till date No Cooling same condition , I complaint , called but no help , Area Service manager not listing , they keep asking me what is the issue , should I have to repeat the same issue to every one again and again and again?

Question : When I will get the solution and HOW CAN LG closed the Ticket and why LG wil Says there is no Issue where so many ticket is open and no solution I never given any Happy code for closing any such ticket ...

LG Electronics Refrigerator Model LRMVC230D

First, be prepared to spend hours on "hold" with so-called "customer service " - [protected].

I have been dealing with LG about this since May 09, 2022. This unit was submitted for replacement by "Customer Service" and rejected on June 14, 2022 because we have more than one LG refrigerator (we will never buy an LG product again) and I submitted the wrong label. I only found out about this after 4 calls and hours on "hold" today, June 30, 2022. I was never notified of the rejection or the reason!

Finally, hours later, a Supervisor told me to resubmit the claim.

To be continued . . .

Desired outcome: Replacement of IDENTICAL unit at no cost to us. The present unit is a "Lemon".If the price has gone up this is not our fault. AMONEY IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. ll we want is the IDENTICAL unit that is not defective.
