We bought our DVD Player/Recorder RH387-M in October last year(2008). At first everything was working fine, but after 2 months we started to get some problems; the DVD player would not read anymore discs. We called the company about this, and they sent us an email about not being able to qualify for their services despite saying on the phone that this is a very common problem with this specific model.
So for two months we were able to record onto dvd's, but little did we know that these dvds would not be readable for any other type of dvd player, we tried at least 4 different brands.
Now, not even 1 year after buying the product, all the functions are off and the DVD, for almost $300, is garbage.
Never buy any products from LG - Life is Good only for LG and not for their customers.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
getting ER FF will not stay cold LG support told me to unplug for 10 hours if the problem returns on a daily basics call back...
never buy a LG, horrible customer service support. LG is a POS! manufacture does not disclose HE detergent use only causing mechanic failure

I agree, totally! My LG refrigerator's ice maker just quit. Tech has put two new ice makers and still the same problem where the ice cube tray is low on the left side, where the water fill tube is, so when the tray is filling with water, the water spills out of the tray onto the side wall of the freezer compartment and down onto food items. What a piece of junk, And talk about lousy service from LG. They're worthless...
We have called LG recently and had a wonderful experience with a service company E.F. Detwiler they come from Spring Texas very professional and the tech fixed the drier issues on the spot with the right parts and charged us only $45.00 his phone number [protected]
We have several LGE unit one being a TV, we are pleased with the product and have recommended other people to purchase the LGE products.
we had a repairman from LG come to our home, and he was very professional in service, moreover he repaired our drier in 30 minutes. his phone is [protected]

That's true. I bought LG TV 32LN5650 worth Rs.37000 INR four days back from a reputed showroom. No worth, as there is no person came to install it even after four days, although they claim to come with in 48 hours(2 days). My complain no is: RNA [protected]. I am a customer of LG since last 15 years. Now, I made my mind, not to buy any product from LG.
These people are literally a lying piece of ###.

I right away called them. they kept promising to send their staff to pick up but no body came to pick up the TV, yet we have to talk about returning money. This is cheating pure and simple and will tell every body not to buy from souq.com

DO NOT BUY AN LG APPLIANCE! I purchased a top of the line dishwasher in Dec. 2008. Had service out here twice in 4 months. The unit expels steam from the bottom of the door, thus creating a nice puddle of condensation on the floor. Someone in my house is going to break their neck when they slip and fall. LG says it's the way it was designed. Umm. Hello? Are you for real?
This $900.00 dishwasher also does not clean at all. Do yourself a favor, don't by from this company!

i was traveling from newdelhi to amritsar by train. my lg handset has been thief in train between new delhi and ambala station when i reach amritsar and went grp amritsar to log FIR they said go to cyber crime office in amritsar . when i reach there they said you have lost the mobile in train so you have log FIR in grp amritsar and then again went there they say that you have to log FIR in ambala station. like this one month had past. as my phone have anti theif software i know the phone no of person who hold the phone and the address also. now pls tell what to do now. i have the bill of mobile with me
My complaint:Its my LG intelloair 1.5 ton AC which was bought april 2007.in month of March 2008, i had display problem in my AC remote.I reported to the authorised dealer for LG service.Its been more than a month now and i dint get back my remote. They always give a answer that they out of stock for the model. This is a highly unacceptance answer from a leading company.I am completely frustrated with the product.u wont beleive me, i referred 4 people to buy the same product last year. i feel guily now coz of LG.I called a LG customer care no.(given by the service engineer) which was never answered even once.I beleive Customer care no. is something where people should be attending the calls(here it goes to missed call.ridiculous!)that no. is 044-[protected](and not sure whether this is really a CC no.)

Hi, I bought aa LG dvd writer ant it is under warranty, I called up company call centre and they gave me address of Hybrid Electronics (Andheri-E). I went there and gave me my Dvd for repair and my request id is (S10B2916020). After two days they gave it back to me and told it has been repaired, I requested them to check and give, but they refused and told me that it is done and no need to check, but surprisingly when i came home and saw it was in d same condition and nothing was done, i called them immediately and reported the same to 1 of their executive named Mira, and to my surprise she said that u should have checked it and taken from here and now nothing can be done but you have to bring the dvd back to service centre.
