I gave Just Answer my credoit card number which they were to charge if I was satisfied
with the answer from their "mechanic". The answer came the next day. It was, "Here is the answer to your question..." And that's all there was. There was no answer. I emailed them back and their reply was, "Yes it is just read it." I had my nephew who I a computer expert look at it and he said there was no more to the email than"Here is the answer to your question..." It was then I realized this must be a scam. They had charged my credit card $5.00 and $17.00. I called the credit card company and disputed the charges and told them I thought it was a scam. They called the 800 number of JustAnswer and we had a 3-way call. The man at just answer had a thick Chinese accent. I told him they said they wouldn't charge my card until I was satisfied with the answer. I said I wasn't satisfied and I thought JustAnswer was a scam, I got the refund because the credit card agent was on the line with us. Interesting that when I received the refund it had a tine and date on it that correlated with Beijng China! If 1, 000 people charge $22.00 and then think it's not worth disputing this scam makes $22, 000. If you don't dispute with your credit car company you may find a monthly charge from JustAnswer on your credit card. The Chinese man was trying to confuse the issue and say I bought a prescription to JustAnswer which I said I did not. If I were a little older and confused easily I see how this could be a lucrative scam that targets old people.

I asked a question on the vetinary site and agreed to pay £11.oo via paypal but your system took the money
out twice so can you please return the second payment in fact because of all the hassle I think you should
return both payments,

I called for help on my computer --I had lost some info and ask them to help. They tried too but coould not fix my problem. I agreeed to the $14.00 charge on the 4th of Dec. On the 7th of Dec they charge me agin but my comp is not fixed. I agreed to the frisrt chge but not the second.

Just Answer is a total rip off. They prey on desperation which I was for a medical answer. They came back with a diagnosis that was so outrageous that I didn't accept. They still took my $45 deposit even though the website says it will charge your card only when you accept.

I asked a lawyer a question on Just Answer. When I ended up consulting with an attorney in person, I discovered that the answer Just Answer provided was wrong. I want my $28 back.

Do not waste your money on this website. No matter what you write to them, they initially attempt to charge you $38.00. They were all ready to "help" me with my problem with the MSN Home page when the problem turned out to be a Denial of Service problem, a problem over which they would have no control. Thank goodness I had enough sense to click off that web page in a hurry and I suggest anyone else do the same. It's a rip-off! Big time.

While I've never heard of Just Answer, I'd recommend contacting them directly. Sadly, this board will not refund your money and it's highly unlikely Just Answer will see this complaint as well. If it's possible, I'd also recommend you take your phone number off the complaint as soon as you can.

I have also been 'ripped off' by Just Answer. I asked a question and they didn't get back to me with an answer but I have been charged $19.00 for the 'answer'! I tried to send them a message but they wanted to know 'how much I was willing to pay for an answer!' Bank can't do ### about it... This is ###!
