I am from Beaumont Texas and was in town visiting with my grandson for Mother's Day weekend. I stayed at the Pearl River Resort. On Saturday, we decided to get out and ride around in town and just see what places we could get something quick for an early supper. We came across Jack's. I told my husband how the first job I ever had was at a Jack's in Kosciusko, Mississippi, so he said let's eat here. The restaurant itself looked great on the outside, and the inside was clean and well-maintained as well. The gentleman who waited on us at the counter was nice and courteous. He took our order without incident. My husband ordered the two cheeseburger combo meal. I ordered the bacon burger combo. I also ordered an apple pie and my husband a blueberry cheesecake pie. And, we also ordered a cookies and cream milkshake. The food seemed to take an extra long time being brought to our table, as there were only two other people dining in the restaurant. When the food arrived, my french fries immediately looked like they were just warmed up. And needless to say, they tasted horrible. Like they had been cooked hours before and maybe just warrmed a little. The burgers themselves were pretty good. But, we had to go ask for ketchup, and when my husband went up to do that, it took him 15 minutes for someone to recognize him and actually get the condiments that we requested. I actually audit restaurants for a living, and had I been auditing yours, it would have been infracted on a number of things. I have expressed the main concern. The service just really sucked, and the food wasn't that great either. We spent almost $40, and I hate to say but McDonalds would have been better Jacks you should be ashamed of yourself.

Claimed loss: $40

Desired outcome: A gift card to Jacks would do me no good. I am only in that area about two to three times a year.
