I am having a Consumer No. GK0010175 with the G. K. Indane Gas Agency, Kamal Kant Road, Ratu Road, Main Road, Ranchi - 834001. I booked for Gas cylinder on 11.10.2006 with an assurance that the cylinder will be delivered within 3 working days. But the same has not been delivered till date. I have personally seen the delivery van distributing the same around the area.

I have to borrow cylinder from my neighbor for use due to such delay. They also harass me and ask to come time and again. They also do not respond positively.

the companies are in tension due to price hyke of crude.
will they tell the public that howmuch cylinders they are providing to the gas agencies in a month .
in uttar pradesh and specially in agra area office the indian oil and hpc are providin only 500 to 550 cylinders against 1000 conexions to their agencies .
in this condition it is quite impossible to manage in such a less supply of the cylinders.
the backlog going up even in the month of august.
what will happen in the winter season
there will be big fights on agencies and the company officers too will have to suffer a lot for it.
it is advised that at least 70 pecent gas should be supplied to the agencies so that they can manage easily and the public can feel ease with lpg.

Kalpana indane gas agency vijay nagar bangalore is always kept the phone engaged so that the consumers are not able to book gas in time. The mobile numberr given by the custmer cell is also switched off always.

I too had bed experince with gas distributor at Kosli in Rewari District Haryana. Here always remained shortage of gas stock. Ithink it is due to selling gas at backdoor for higer rates. Here for one gas cylinder you have to devote whole day and you are lucky person if you got. They have six or seven muscular body persons for those customer who make complaint . So they behaved rudely. I dont no why systm is not taking action against these persons.

I am a resident of navagarai, Coimbatore. I had booked for refilling gas at the Indane Gas Agency sevearal times. They told that it will be delivered in four days. But still after 20 days, it is not delivered. I have inquired them over phone several times, and they say today will be delivered and so on. But still not yet delivered. So I assume that they have enough stocks.I am also experiencing the lack of service from the INDANE GAS AGENCY. I am thinking to conduct a camplaign against this GAS agency and make myself and our friends close all the connections with them and open it with Bharath GAS or some other.

please take necessary action to distribute regular supply og gas.

I am resident in Ghazipur, Delhi-110096, and my consumer NO. 10476 in Roop Gas Agency, A-1/23 New Kondli, Delhi, I am booking my cylinder for rifiling on 2nd June 2008 & booking No. is 14 but till date (21.06.2008) they are not delivered to me, always their phone are busy OR may be they are not pick up the phone, and I am looking their man delivered to cylinder to many Hotel (Dhaba) in higher charges. but not to me and I am very much problem, I do not know what to do, Can you help me.

With warm regards i m making u a complaint about Balram Ji Gas Agency, Fatehgarh, Distt. Farrukhabad, (UP) 209601 . Sir pls dont think it as a anonymous i m telling u the very truth. we the pupils of fatehgarh having the gas connection of indane gas from the Balramji Gas Agency are suffering from too many problems from ur distributors. they never use to provide the refil cylinder within time. from the bottling plant they use to get the refil load very properly but they r not distributing the load to the connection holder properly. first of all the consumer should go to their office and get the receipt voucher after showing the blue booklet, that the proper days are over without making any payment . and they never use to take the amount of the refil voucher their. than the consumer should go to thier Godown situtated far away from the city. their the consumer should stand in line in hot summer for hours for it chance to get the refil cylinder. their the agency holder stands with a wooden stick & mis behave wjth the consumers & says that because of them the public of fatehgarh is cooking food at their home. Any one who disobey their rules and regulation will not get any refil cylinder. the agancy holder get the ful load of truck of 306 refil cylinders. but he use to issue only 150 to 180 cylinders.

At the time of delivery time they use to take the money their itself at the time of receipt they use to take access of money and their they use to to show that they the most genuine persons of this world.

if anybody pays Rs. 400/= or more they use to give the refil in black. the main motive of them is to provide gas refil cylinders in BLACK MARKETING.

due to this crisis always occurs everytime, 365 days.

the behaviour of the agency holder is too much rude & always speaks to a consumers in a very bad & indecent way that consumer is a beggar & after paying Rs. 340/= for a refil because of distributor he is able to get the refil cylinders & will be able to cook his food .

they always use to take acess of money from which is printed on the receipt,
pls tell me why they use to take money at godown, why not at their booking office

if any consumer is not able to take the refil cylinder within two days of the receipt, the receipt will become invalid, & again he should go to the booking office and stands in long que, waits for his turn & again shows the blue booklet and submit the old, invalid receipt said by the distributor. and ask for the new one.
Is their any column in ur company that if receipt become two days older it will be invalid.
The payment should be made at the distributors godown not at the booking office. why is it so.

the agency is in name of Handicapped person named Mr. Deshdeepak R/o Haathi kana, Fatehgarh & a widow lady who is settled in Farrukhabad, But the owner, the firm is being running by Mr. Goswami & his family. who is paying some wages to them. and torchered them to say infront of ur official that they r the owner.
they r having more than 2000 fake connection whose blue booklets r kept in mr.goswami house
the mai purpose of ur distributor is to make black marketing and to haress the consumers to make them beg infront of them so they feel happy because of mr goswami and family every body is getting food.

sir, i beg u to take a positive and very necessary action against the distributor.
pls make silient inquiry by ur officials, not from the officers posted At Gassingpur Bottling Plant. near Mohamdabad .
pls ask the public of fatehgarh r they happy from distributor or not.

few years back the agency was sealed due the same reasons
so pls take neceassry actions

Same like above cases is happening with me also. I have an Indane Gas connection from SRI VINAYAKA ENTERPRISES, #47/2, Near TVS Godown, Kudlu Main Road, Kudlu, bangalore - 560 068, Karnataka. I have paid for GAS Connection nearly one year back and really getting mad because of their behaviour and response. I have not received my Customer Book also and Last from 10 months 3 times they gave me commercial Cylinder (cost around Rs. 1200/-) and every time they promised me next time they will give regular Cylinder. Now last from 2 month daily I am going to their agency and asking for the cylinder, this time also the same story take commercial one and next time will give regular cylinder. I have tried almost all the way to get the cylinder from the agency but but unfortunately no success...
Now the question is how to get the cylinder ? Shall i go for police help or consumer court. I want to go for such type of way by which no one should face same problem. I have one last option using that atleast in that area next time this will never happen but the end result is i will lose my carrier and my family (Wife & my sweet baby) meight come on road after me. But even if I am ready to go for that.

Hi,

I have an Indan Gas Connection form JAI JAWAN gas services.

I am highly frustrated with the behaviour of the people who are managing JAI JAWAN gas services. They are the gundaas and involve in lot of black services. JAI JAWAN is extremely unsafe if you have ladies at home collecting gas in absense of other home members. They are so rude and misbehave and are really criminals. I have logged a POLICE COMPLIANT against them.

Dear Sir / Madam,

I have information that in Chennai one person named K. Kanagaraj has buying more than 4 Indane gas cylinders (domestic) per month and selling in black to his friends, relatives and others for past six years. He is working in Civil supplies corporation. His working area may be in Villivakkam or Korattur.

In these days it is very difficult to buy even single cylinder. I don't know with whom support this person has doing these gas cylinder abuse.

So I request to somebody look seriously this matter and stop. And he has to punish for this gas cylinder abuse. Kindly note below address of that person Kanagaraj (who has abusing Indane gas cylinders (Domestic).

I am a resident of Daliganj, Lucknow. Rukmani Gas Services, Aliganj, Lucknow is not responding well. Thery are not attending the phone call. I had tried to book gas through telephone many times. But they didn't respond.
Who is looking after all these complaints made through online? I could also see few other complaints also against this INDANE GAS. Does anyone take steps to correct this?

My name is Brijesh Kumar my gas conection no is 0333607 dt: 30-01-2005 having a transfer case from Gurgaon to Ghaziabad for which I have to get verify the document from Mr Deepak Sharma a field officer of Ghaziabad district his mibile no [protected] and I am trying to contact to this person from last 15days but he never available on his mobile and his mobile gets swich off. My area gas agency is not accepting the transfer case unless it is verify by the field office while the field officer is not approachable.

What should I do kindly suggest.

I am customer of Yadu gas agency Ghaziabad , I booked gas on 18.1.07 vide booking no 578 , they promised me to deliver gas with in week , i called them again again but they do not picked up phone ,

Regarding Anand Gas Agency, Gurgaon Gas Agency, Golden Gas Agency, Raghu Gas Agency, Mata Sheeta Gas Agency (Gurgaon / Haryana).
Today, we are deliberating 59th years of republic of India (Independence Day), but the consumer of Indane Gas in Gurgaon are paralyzed with their fundamental rights of raffling of Gas Facility, on account of distributors staff unfair practice of system by systemizing the telephone booking un-operated and moreover not booking the cylinder with one or the other pretext and otherwise supplying the Gas Cylinder after 10-15 days , which resulting regular problems to the consumer, as the Anand Gas , Gurgaon Gas, Raghu Gas, Mata Sheetla Gas, Golden Gas Agencies in Gurgaon it reflect had systemize their connection target above the Indian Guideline, moreover Gurgaon population increase of manifold also resulted and other cause of systemize/ obligating to the Hotel/ Restaurant Holder reflected heavy shortage.

How the Indian inspection and other staff of the Indane Company considering the public grievances, which shows that indane company staff are also obliging distributor in the networking of raffling systemize unfarir practice with hidden bargain exercise and to which might be the Distt. Administration ignorance from Food Supply Department causing clear attempt of cold blooded murder of fundamental rights of riffling of the Gas Connection from India Distributor in Gurgaon

Looking for speedy systemize raffling facility to the bonafied Indane Connection Holder in democracy.

I am harassed by the service provider of Indane GAS . We have to spend 15-20 days without gas in spite of having two cylinders . Facing the following problems regularly :

I am living in TAMBARAM SANATORIUM,CHENNAI and your agent's agency name is PATTAMMAL GAS AGENCY,TIN NO:[protected].

I am putting this complaint according to my booking of cyl. on 24/12/2007 . My customer number is 34173 and booking no is 488.
Please look in matter and do needful for following:

1. Very much delay on GAS service . Took almost 20 - 25 days for Gas supply from the date of booking . After delivering one cylinder they normally took 10 - 15 days for booking of next cylinder.
2. The telephone line is always engaged & normally have to go physically for Gas booking / any other query.
3. The behavior & attitude of service provider is very worst
4. Sometime cylinders also come underweight.
5. Now a days marriage season is running so your valuable agent supplying cylinder in black and its proven by many customer on them but they said you can do whatever you can. By this you and your agent making money but what about us ?

I am sanjeev sharma wants to submit a complaint on behalf of my mother Mrs. leela wati Sharma that we are 10 person in our family and we have only a single gas no means we depend only a single no our gas agency is NAIRS GAS SERVICE shop no 3 ,G block shopping centre, vikas puri New Delhi 18. ALWAYS when we try to call to book a cylinder they never pick the phone and many times we have to leave the office to book the gas personally these times I book my gas On 1260 (booking no) on 20 or 21december the booking no was 7 of that day. Till today we did not get the gas cylinder. Inbetween I went to the gas agency again personally on 28/12/2007 but they are very rudely spoke that don’t disturb me you will get your gas soon

We are having indane gas connection for period more than a dacade in the name of my father late Raghunath Dash presently utilised by my sister Ms Surama Dash witth our consent at our native place.Berhampur Pin 760001,Orissa The consumer no. is G07320 and dealer is Ganjam Gas, INDANE GAS, Gandhi Nagar Berhampur Orissa . My sister Ms Surama Dash had booked for supply of a gas cylender for routine consumption on 13.11.2007. This has not been delivered till now with out assigning any reason there of. Incidentally when I had been to Berhampur I had visited the service provider on13.12.2007 where I could observe a reversal entry on 04.12.2007 and a fresh booking entry on the same day against our consumer number for which reason provided was " known to the delivery boy". The gas cylender has not been delivered so far inspite of verbal assurance by the service provider to deliver the same on the very next day of my visit. Local enquiry reveals that there are rampant black marketing by the dealer causing undue harassement to many costumers. I request you to look into this problem.

Several customers have been facing the following problems from the gas agency named as Jai Jawan Gas Service, D-493, Palam Ext, Sec-7 , Dwarka, New Delhi-110075-
a. They block all their Phones or do not take calls for most of times.
b. Even if they entertain, many times do not send refills for days together unless personal visit is made and hue and cry made at their agency.

Pl direct them to be positive in responsive to the consumers

M/s Pattammal gas agency, West tambaram, chennai opens in the morning and their first job is that they put the telephone receiver down. They place it only when they go home making the booking of gas cylinders miserable. This is happening for the last few days. Will not Indian Oil Corporation look into this.

On closure of M/s Graha gas agency I was directed to book gas cylinders through M/s/ Pattammal gas agency at Mudichur Road, West Tambaram, Chennai.

I had booked the cylinder more than 15 days back in the new agency. While booking the personnel told that the cylinder shall be delivered in 5 days. But the cylinder has not been delivered yet. While I try to contact them on phone for the last 8 days the phone remains engaged from morning till evening. The mobile no. displayed on teh notice board at M/s Gaha agency either rings or is always is in swiched off mode. But on enquiry i was told that if a person goes with an empty cylinder the new cyinder is given. As aged people like us cannot afford to travel with the empty cylinder i suggest that suitable action be taken against the agency or instead of providing such a service Indane can better recommand closue of the agency who cannot provide service.

we dont have gas to cook. what should we do?

I am from New Delhi. My Gas Agency name is M/s Maheswari Gas Agency which is at Madangiri, Near to Dr. Ambedkar Nagar. I really fed up with the Agency because neither they support to the customer not doing any action against some moral issue. As a job holder it is not always possible to physically go to the Agency and book for cylinder. For that reason the telephone facilities are available, so that we can book for the re-fill. But those guys never picked up their phone if it was ringing. Otherwise to avoid the call attend they knowingly kept the phone engage. Kindly if any action against these agency can take I will be appreciated and all the consumers can get benifit of it.

I am having a Consumer No.23466 with the Swathi Indane Gas Agency, Triplicane Chennai-5. I booked for Gas cylinder on20.09.2007 with an assurance that the cylinder will be delivered within 4 working days. But the same has not been delivered till date. I have personally seen the delivery van distributing the same around the area.

They also do not respond positively.

Hence I request to take appropriate action against the agency and kindly direct the concern to deliver the gas cylinder immediately.

I am launching this complaint against Prarthna Enterprises, Faribadad for gas booking and distribution.

First of call they never pick-up the phone [protected] & 39). I tried on many working days for 30 minutes - 1 hour and it keeps ringing.

They have given a mob. no. of Mr. Bhikam [protected] an employee in their organisation.

I contacted him on 18th Sep.07 for booking of gas and he assured that your gas has been booked.

I Waited upto 24 Sep for delivery if cylinder and again contacted Mr. Bhikam he agains confired that your is booked and shall delived to you shortly.

I Waited upto 28 Sep for delivery if cylinder and again contacted Mr. Bhikam and he has given him mobile to any iother persone at Agency. The Second peroson has confirnm that gas has not been booked so far. While trid to contact Mr. Bhikam again is switched off his mobile.

Again I traind to contact Mr. Bhikam on 29th Sep he picked the phone and behaved very roodly.

Still their in no proper responce from Agency.

This is purly a deffcincy in sesrvice and harrasment of customers.

Kindly help in geting the gas cylinder.

I am a resident of Chrompet, Chennai. I had booked for refilling gas at the Indane Gas Agency (Grahaa), East Tambaram, Chennai on 5th September 2007. They told that it will be delivered in four to five days. But still after 17 days, it is not delivered. I have inquired them over phone several times, and they say today will be delivered and so on. But still not yet delivered. So I assume that they have enough stocks, but selling at the backdoor for higher rates. I am also experiencing the lack of service from the INDANE GAS AGENCY. I too had a bad experience with my gas cylinder surrender. The connection was in my father's name and was taken from coimbatore where he was working as Manager in Syndicate Bank. Eventually my father suffered a paralysis and had to retire early.I took him with me to Trivandrum for treatment. I had transferred my connection to Trivandrum. During the transfer I had given an authorization letter with my father's thumb impression.After which I was given a connection with the initial deposit reciept having my signature. Now when I got transferred to Bangalore, the agent is asking for another authorization letter, which by itself goes against the purpose. The time when I took the cylinder for surrender was 4.50 pm.I told the agent that I will get the "authorization letter"{second} by 5.05pm. The agent declined saying that they work only till 5 pm. I had to carry the cylinder and the documents back. This inhuman attitude exhibited by the agents should be discouraged by the IOCL officials at any cost.The licence raj is coming to an end. When the market starts to open up, they will find them in deep soup, if not acted promptly for suchattitude by the agencies.

As stated by the indane gas subscribers, i do agree and place my grievence and complaint before you for perusal and suitable, action we are indane gas subcriber in hyderabad, our authorised dealer of distribution is at shantinagar, even after booking the gas as long as 20 days, said gas is not being delivered we are cooking with firewood in our house, we are making arounds now and than we are told that there is shortage of stock and that very soon we shall get the same but even after 20 days lapsed we are not getting,

I want to know as to what is rule and regulation as farmed by indane gas agency, in distribution, as far as i know due to shortage of gas, atleast it will take 20 days to be able to come our turn, now it is is 20 lapsed still we have not got,

Kindly do advise as to how to get the gas and where to complain since our is a big family we will be needing two gas cylinder for a month.

Hi,

I am a resident of attingal, kerala. I had booked for refilling gas at the Indane Gas Agency (SUDHA INDANE SERVICES ATTINGAL), Trvandrum [dist], kerala, on 7th august 2007. They told that it will be delivered in few days. But still after 24days, it is not delivered. I have inquired them over phone several times, and they say today will be delivered and soon. But still not yet delivered. So I assume that they have enough stocks, but selling at the backdoor for higher rates. I am also experiencing the lack of service from the INDANE GAS AGENCY. I read in news paper about this [sudha indane agency] so many complaint against them.

Hi,

I am leaving in Chennai from last one year. At Present, I am working in Cognizant. I have taken a LPG connection from INDANE at my native place (Utter Pradesh) some times before (more than 6 months).

Now, I want to transfer the connection to Chennai,TN. I have all documents (Transfer Voucher, Subscriber Voucher, Customer card and address proof) that needed for transfer the connection.

But the agency owner is asking for RATION CARD from Chennai or NOC for RATION CARD. I believe, RATION CARD is only required for new connection or multiple connection.

Please advise smb!

We are the Indane customer and it seems that the agency called Cookwell is no more and IOC directed one Ganaraj to provide the services.My consumer no is 2788 of cookwell.

Now we are facing lot of hard ships.

1.They are not giving door delivery.We have to go their counter and take the delivery.We have to put leave for this purposes and arrange for a separate conveyance to carry this cylinder.

2.Some Ganaraj person collected our original gas connection receipts and they are calling their counter to get the fresh receipt. Also they are adamant and shouting the customer if we insist for home delivery.

Is IOC is listening all this? Is it not IOC duty to smooth transitioning over another agency?
