Home Depot - Custom-made vanity

I filed a complaint with the corporate office and was informed that it would be properly dealt with, but in the meantime, I want people online to know about my experience on 7/21/20.

I had a physical appointment with a designer at HD in Asheville, NC. From the moment she arrived, she was slightly late, frantic, and very short-tempered with me. She took notice to the two KraftMaid catalogs I brought with me, one even had Home Depot right on it, but she said in a snarky tone, "I don't know where you got these two catalogs, but you did not get them from this store, and I am NOT familiar with them. More than likely you got one of them at Lowe's, and you are NOT going to get anything from HD that you can get at Lowe's, so I will have to try to build this as closely as possible, but you are NOT going to get what you see in this image (as she rudely chuckled)." I thought bringing in two KraftMaid catalogs (since HD sells the line) would make it easier for us to be on the same page about what I was looking for, but she didn't appreciate that.

Apparently HD is only interested in quoting a countertop for your bathroom vanity IF you meet a certain price point with the vanity, which I met, but the designer didn't want to take her time to go over the process with me. The designer didn't even ask me if I was interested in a countertop. Only because I asked about a countertop, she rudely replied, "Well, I will only discuss that with you IF you meet a certain price point, let me figure this out. OK, yes, you meet the price point, " and then pointed where I needed to go to pick a countertop out. I told her what I wanted, she gave me the least amount of info she could about it. I asked about sinks for the vanity. Again, she pointed where I needed to go, and with a very snarky voice said, "You are more than welcome to go find what you want, but I am not going to help you with a sink. You will have to do that on your own and inquire elsewhere about having the sinks installed. Let me remind you that I am a kitchen designer, NOT a bathroom designer and I am not going to go over the process with you!" Wasn't until I got my quote last night that I found out that the countertop I picked out was only 3cm thick of the stone I wanted. This was something she should have explained in the process of my appointment, but she rushed me through the appointment to get me out of there.

Yes, there is a pandemic out there, but I followed the rules, wore my mask and remained 6 ft. away as much as possible. I sat across from her with the plastic shield, but she was extremely frantic during my 30 minutes with her, although I was scheduled for 1 hour 30 minutes. Couldn't believe how rudely I was treated while discussing a $3-4K custom-made piece of furniture with her. Perhaps Home Depot should shut down certain departments of their stores to keep people safe rather than allow their employees to be so nasty to potential customers! Pandemic or not, it is her job to properly discuss the HD process of developing a custom-made bathroom vanity WITHOUT being rude to the customer. If I asked questions she very rudely responded back and gave me basic information; short and to the point. Needless to say, I will not be ordering my custom-made bathroom vanity through Home Depot.
