6/24/22 I tired to return 30 pieces of tiles purchased last week the tiles went on sale for.49 cents I paid full price I did not have a receipt so I was willing to accept a store credit the employee gave me a credit for $14.51 and told me that was the best she could do I told her to void the card I will not accept that I asked her to look up the original price that I paid again she told me 14.51 was the best she could do I paid nearly 200.00 I asked to speak with a manager and basically was told the same thing after being there for 50 minutes I finally told the manager to load the tiles back in my trunk the lack of attention for the transaction was appalling and disregard for the customer was entirely disappointing I have been a loyal customer of home depot since it opened in venice fl however this experience has forced me to never be in any home depot again

The Overall Home Depot as a business
I can find NOTHING AT ALL good to say about HOME DEPOT. To briefly summarize, I worked for Home Depot as an associate and experienced terrible support from the Home office in Atlanta...Way too many problems to list here.
There appears to be no QUALITY CONTROL over products...I purchased a lighting fixture for my bathroom a while ago and None of the installation parts fit or work properly at all...I am an Honorably Discharged U.S. Navy Submarine Veteran. I applied for a Veteran discount and was approved, but when I got to the store NOBODY knew how to get my discount. With Lowes when they approved my papers as a veteran, all I need to do is give them my phone number and I get the discount...I decided to come back to home dDepot as an employee about a year ago. During my re-entry process there was a problem that could not be resolved at the local branch and the local branch was unable to get a resolution from the headquarter in Atlantic. OVERALL, Home Depot is by far the worst managed company I have had any dealings with in my 80 years on this planet. I don't expect anything to change because the same leadership at all levels is still in place.
Desired outcome: I think the problem is at the very top level of company leadership and as long at those folks are getting huge salaries NOTHING WILL CHANGE.....
Shed and base installation
Hello Home Depot,
I am writing with regards to the installation of a base & shed.
We paid both for the shed and base installation.
I have received the shed last week around Thursday 16 June 2022.
We had already booked an appointment (while purchasing the shed) for Monday 20 June for the installation.
On Friday 17 June, someone from quick contractors left a voice message on my husband's phone (he made the purchase online), saying that home depot did not send the order for installation of the shed but only for the base. She asked us to call home depot for an order for the shed as well.
We did call home depot on Friday 17 June evening and till today 21 June, no installer or contractor has called us to assemble the base and the shed. Also when I call agents, they keep asking me if I paid for the installation of the base and shed. I keep saying yes for both.
They say they will send the request to quick contractors and I should be getting a call today or tomorrow. Days pass and no one calls me to fix an appointment. We have called home depot, the booking Department so many times.
On the home depot order, it was mentioned that an installer will contact us within 24 hours from the delivery of the item. But this never happened.
The shed is lying in my driveway as I do not have anywhere to keep it and it is dangerous. It can be stolen.
I feel that my rights as a consumer have been violated and home depot has not kept its word.
I am making a request that home depot look into this matter urgently and have an installer come at my place to install the base and shed by the end of this week Friday 24 June, following which I will file a complaint with the Ministry Consumer Protection Ontario.
Kindly get back to me on this problem urgently.

Online Order
I purchased a Ryobi 100 ma zero turn mower in May and then got a message that the divery company fast mile would deliver on June 8th that day came and went. I contacted home depot and was told to contact fastmile to which I told them no one answered. I was told by customer service would call me back but no call so I went to fast miles tracking site and then saw the delivery date update to June 14th that day came and went and then fast mile updated their site to show that it would be delivered on the 17th that day came and no show called home depot and take to a customer service rep that i explained the issue to and to which he replied it coming and i said so is Christmas and got pass to customer retention specialist she called the fast mile people and said it would be delivered on the 19th that day came and went, the tracking site said it would be delivered on the 20th from 12 -4 pm no show text home depot customer service and was told that it was delivered on the 14th and I was told this I apologize, but I have triple checked in our systems, and it does show delivered, and verification was provided by carrier. At this time, we would need you to file a claim directly with the carrier. If at that point if it was determined by them to be delivered, you would need to dispute the charges with your financial institution. I am sorry I do not have a better answer for you at this time. To which I replied if the purchase was delivered why does their tracking site say it was to be delivered today and was given the fast mile number I have been calling all week. Then got this text after I wrote if they have delivered it why does their tracking site show it was updated to 6/21 now. It seems that Fast Mile accepted the order on 5/31, however, it was stuck with a line haul carrier and never received. I am working with a supervisor now, and am truly sorry for this. Please bare with me and I appreciate your patience. I asked if there was no record of my calls to which I got ,There was not, no sir. Last interaction and notes I see for this order was June 17th, and there was no case created. I am sorry we dropped the ball. At no time was I offered any compensation for the 8-20 that I sat home waiting on the product to come. I was basically called a liar and when I said cancel the order they were fine with it and then sent me a customer service rating text. I sent this Okay so if they delivered the mower why did they just change the delivery date to 6/21/2022 now no answer
Desired outcome: after all the delays and lack of customer service. all I wanted was my lawn mower
Home Depot Store Credit
I was issued a store credit for a return without a receipt that was put on the in-store orange Home Depot card. I have since used the card 2 times, have both receipts that show the last 4 digits of the in store card and remaining balance $1189.39. Not sure if the cashier at Home Depot kept my card or it was lost.
I have called the store and they claim its treated as just like cash. I think there has to be a way to track this. The computer system has the transactions, scanned the store card, scanned my drivers licensed. Seems to me there is away to go back to the last date it was used and figure something out. I have spent a crap load of money especially since Hurricane Ida at Home Depot trying to get my home back to livable standards and still have a ways to go. Been ripped of by a fraud contractor. I sure can't afford losing the balance of this store credit. I will be putting a call in to the Corporate Office in hopes that they can help me.
Desired outcome: I would like a replacement store card with remaining balance placed on it.
I cancelled an order 15 days ago and still have not recieved the refund
I ordered a refrigerator on May 21 and it was scheduled to be delivered on June 4th. It did not arrive on June 4th and I was informed by email that it would not be delivered until July 1st. I could not wait that long, so I called Home Depot and cancelled the order. I received an email that day showing that only the installation and service charges were cancelled. I called Home Depot again and said that I expected the entire order to be cancelled, not just the installation and service. And I asked when I could expect my refund. The person on the phone said that I would have the refund within 10 days. On June 19th, I still had not received the refund. I called Home Depot again and they stated that my cancellation was "in progress". I pressed the cust. service agent and he called Maytag. Maytag had never received any cancellation notice. This is sloppy and incompetent behavior by Home Depot. I will never buy an appliance from them again.
Desired outcome: I want my refund quickly and an apology.
flooring
After 9 months and 3 appointments to get a floor install I was left with concrete floors. The last installer they sent just did not want to do the job. I received months of empty promises and now no one at customer care returns my phone calls. I was left worse off when they were done or should I say when I was done with the nonsense.

I have a lifetime warranty on my windows installed and purchased at home depot and lifetime accidental breakage. On April 1, 2022 I sent the sticker to a patricia Keeley for a broken window. As of 6/15, no window and this person will not answer phone calls after leaving numerous messages and will not respond to emails. She has forwarded my email once to a person named Seth kaufman who I have also attempted numerous times to find out the status of my window to no avail. Now I have a busted spring on another window and I need someone to come and fix it as I have no bathroom window as a result. Again, noone will respond to my. Numerous messages left and emails sent. Please, please, please, this needs to be resolved. I have a cracked window on my porch allowing rain to come in and now a busted bathroom window that cannot be opened as it will not stay up. Been paying Home Depot with my company check for over 15 years. On 6/16 & 6/12 Home Depot accepted company check. Then on 6/14 the computer refused to take a check, no further verification or ID asked for - it just refused to accept check. Tried twice at register then again at Customer Service, same result - "rejected"
Wanted to start a job so picking up material at 7:30 am after no help at store, just the mention it was out of their hands and had no idea who to contact, left!
So now job extends and need some more material, do not have the time to go over that again so off to other source. Again there has never been a problem over the last 15 years. And yes did check with my bank, Home Depot never made an inquiry about the check, so it's at their end.
PS how the... are you going to get back to me, is this a scam?

Windows and door install
I copied the following after I sent it to Hillsborough County BOCC:
My wife and I contracted with Home Depot to replace all of the windows and doors in our house in June of last year (2021). There was an issue with one of the doors and two of the windows. I cancelled two of the windows because I am so angry and frustrated with them. However, I need the door replaced. It was installed wrong and until recently had painters' tape over the door holes. They sent a crew out this past Saturday [protected]). The crew removed the old door and replaced it with another that is now BACKWARDS. I have been out of contact with them regarding the door install for a couple of months now because no one will call me back or respond to my e mails. The customer service I have received so far from this "St. Pete team" has been ridiculous. Is there anything the county can do to help me rectify this situation? I cannot get anyone to call me back. I am at my wits end.
Everything has been documented.
Desired outcome: I want someone with authority to call me.

I have order the this window through home depote and my window contractor installed. I have bought total ordered 11 windows for my sunroom. Out f that one window get cracked from inside outer glass is still intake, went to home depote and asked me the details for that particular window but it is inside therefore could not provide it. Delivery of refrigerator

Ordered online 12 2x4x14 lumber. Misdelivered 2 houses down. My neighbor said he delivered to a house on the next block, then reloaded it and dropped it off at the wrong address again. He tried helping the man to understand he knew me and my house was 2 homes down. The man didn't speak English so he left it at the incorrect address and left it anyway. He didn't cover it either and it was raining hard and laid the ends deep in the mud.
I called the number to express concern of the mistake so that it wouldn't happen again very politely. The man on the phone said next time write the correct address. They did have the correct address. My address is simple. Only 4 houses on my dead end street. Online it auto fills the address from all my previous orders and I check it anyway to be sure. To say it was my fault had me livid. But I still bit my tongue and was polite. But I am posting this complaint for the first time ever. Definitely upset.

Blinds and Blackouts
We ordered Custom Blinds and blackouts from Homedepot and technical person came and installed alll the blinds and we found that Blackout is not real blackout there is lack in measurement for every window we contacted company no one responded to our request. no one is there to answer your phone call. we spent thousands of dollar just for custom product its not even worth. you can clearly see that the sunlights are coming from every single window there is no finishing. what is meaning of having those garbage product from garbage company? do not buy from homedepot

Anderson Window and door installation
We had this service done on March 29th of 2021.
April 9th inspection was done by Trent Pierce.
April 15th window cleaning by a guy with a greasy rag in his pocket. Stated he only cleans the insides of the windows. The windows were horrible after this. I have pictures. He was quite pleased with his work and spoke of all his travels around the world.
New doors on back order
April 11,2022 Home Depot to check on doors. No show
April 15, 2022 Home Depot to check on doors again
April18, 2022 Home Depot stated they would be here between 8-10 am. They showed at 12:30. Had a new door to replace from slider. They took off shims from current door. Took door off frame and placed new door on current frame. This made the stationary window in the frame very loose.
April 26. Call to Cassie from my husband regarding instability of window in frame.
March 29, 2022 Dan from Home Depot takes down notes and videotapes door issues. Is condescending to me and states, "So you're Very Frustrated. Is that right?" While underlining and and writing notes in bold letters.
Our back sliding door was not installed correctly. The framing is not straight so the door wont close, They both have a gap between the frame and window that you can slide a putty knife thru. We have had to duct tape them to stop air leakage.
This is not acceptable work or service. This has been an awful experience. So much so that we will not be shopping at Home Depot until this is rectified(if ever again).
This matter needs your immediate attention.

Dishwasher/ Home Depot/ Assurant
I wish I would have seen all of the complaints before I purchased an appliance from The Home Depot... All I can do now is NEVER make that mistake again. The warranty was a total joke. The Home Depot sold us a piece of junk that barely made it 2 years. They sent technicians out 7-8 times and just kept ordering parts, saying that this was the last time they would try to fix it before replacing. Who knows how many more times they would have said that? The last time they came, they again said that it was fixed. Again it was not. We gave up and got a new dishwasher. Lesson learned!
Citi bank / HD credit card
Citi bank has decreased my my credit limit by $4000.00 on one card for not using it as much as they want me to . They threaten by letter first and if you don't run out and use your card they will decrease your limit. This is a threatening business practice. By decreasing my credit it ups my credit card utilization which damages my overall credit score.
Desired outcome: Stop Citi bank from these business practices or change banks.
Delivery
Home Depot contracted a third party company to deliver a refrigerator I ordered, and the refrigerator was not delivered. The drivers reported that they waited the 15 minutes, but my Ring camera shows they waited two minutes at my home. They lied about parking at the bottom of our driveway, and my Ring camera shows they parked two houses away. The camera could barely catch their truck due to the many trees in our neighborhood. My son went outside while they were in their truck, and they said they didn’t see anybody, but they could not see our house due to being parked at our neighbors two houses down. The driver asked why he did not walk down the driveway and down the street. He complained about our driveway being long and steep and said “I don’t want to walk up and down there.” One of them set a clipboard or binder on the hood of one of my vehicles and proceeded to lean on it as well. My sons are intellectually disabled, but they are capable of staying home alone for a bit and accepting deliveries. My daughter is having problems with her vision, so I ran into town to take her to the optometrist. I told my sons they were coming and exactly where the delivery people needed to place the fridge. It should have taken no time for them to place the fridge and be on their way. The driver told me my sons should not be accepting deliveries since they are intellectually disabled. I was lied to and my sons were discriminated against for being disabled. I would appreciate someone contacting me about this situation, and I want a refrigerator that has not been rattling around in a truck for a full day. I would also like another delivery company or different drivers as these individuals obviously do not want to work with us. Thank your for your time, and I look forward to hearing from someone from Home Depot.
I would like to add that my sons are 28 years old.
