Home Depot Ordering a adjustable portable compact washer dolly

Went to your store a week ago to order this product, adjustable portable washer dolly, Your computer in store would not order the product, the customer service representative tried everything to put order through, went to another computer to order in your store and wouldn't go through that's 2x same day, I returned to your store today to try again and your computer would not let it go through, sales representative check to see if any in stock there is 1000, representative then called customer service to order and she could not order it either, she said it was not my cards it was your system, item number internet #[protected] model#MCSLB04P store sku#[protected], I just bought a washer on5/25/22 and wanted to get the dolly that goes with it (The Cuyahoga falls store located in in Ohio) all the sales representatives were very good and did their best to get this ordered

Home Depot Payments

Been paying Home Depot with my company check for over 15 years. On 6/16 & 6/12 Home Depot accepted company check. Then on 6/14 the computer refused to take a check, no further verification or ID asked for - it just refused to accept check. Tried twice at register then again at Customer Service, same result - "rejected"

Wanted to start a job so picking up material at 7:30 am after no help at store, just the mention it was out of their hands and had no idea who to contact, left!

So now job extends and need some more material, do not have the time to go over that again so off to other source. Again there has never been a problem over the last 15 years. And yes did check with my bank, Home Depot never made an inquiry about the check, so it's at their end.

PS how the... are you going to get back to me, is this a scam?

Home Depot Windows and door install

I copied the following after I sent it to Hillsborough County BOCC:

My wife and I contracted with Home Depot to replace all of the windows and doors in our house in June of last year (2021). There was an issue with one of the doors and two of the windows. I cancelled two of the windows because I am so angry and frustrated with them. However, I need the door replaced. It was installed wrong and until recently had painters' tape over the door holes. They sent a crew out this past Saturday [protected]). The crew removed the old door and replaced it with another that is now BACKWARDS. I have been out of contact with them regarding the door install for a couple of months now because no one will call me back or respond to my e mails. The customer service I have received so far from this "St. Pete team" has been ridiculous. Is there anything the county can do to help me rectify this situation? I cannot get anyone to call me back. I am at my wits end.

Everything has been documented.

Desired outcome: I want someone with authority to call me.

Home Depot Picture window

I have order the this window through home depote and my window contractor installed. I have bought total ordered 11 windows for my sunroom. Out f that one window get cracked from inside outer glass is still intake, went to home depote and asked me the details for that particular window but it is inside therefore could not provide it. I have details of order. I do not know whom to contact for this. Please let me know what I should be doing. If you have any contact no to contact.

June 9, 2022 10:30 a.m. Do not buy major appliances from Home Depot to be delivered. Delivery guy refused to take fridge off truck to let me examine it. Said "it's fine, it's in a new box"! I told him this was the 2nd one, the 1st one was damaged. He refused to take it up the back stairs which goes straight into the kitchen. This is the way other fridge...

Home Depot Delivery to wrong house

Ordered online 12 2x4x14 lumber. Misdelivered 2 houses down. My neighbor said he delivered to a house on the next block, then reloaded it and dropped it off at the wrong address again. He tried helping the man to understand he knew me and my house was 2 homes down. The man didn't speak English so he left it at the incorrect address and left it anyway. He didn't cover it either and it was raining hard and laid the ends deep in the mud.

I called the number to express concern of the mistake so that it wouldn't happen again very politely. The man on the phone said next time write the correct address. They did have the correct address. My address is simple. Only 4 houses on my dead end street. Online it auto fills the address from all my previous orders and I check it anyway to be sure. To say it was my fault had me livid. But I still bit my tongue and was polite. But I am posting this complaint for the first time ever. Definitely upset.

Home Depot Blinds and Blackouts

We ordered Custom Blinds and blackouts from Homedepot and technical person came and installed alll the blinds and we found that Blackout is not real blackout there is lack in measurement for every window we contacted company no one responded to our request. no one is there to answer your phone call. we spent thousands of dollar just for custom product its not even worth. you can clearly see that the sunlights are coming from every single window there is no finishing. what is meaning of having those garbage product from garbage company? do not buy from homedepot

Home Depot Anderson Window and door installation

We had this service done on March 29th of 2021.

April 9th inspection was done by Trent Pierce.

April 15th window cleaning by a guy with a greasy rag in his pocket. Stated he only cleans the insides of the windows. The windows were horrible after this. I have pictures. He was quite pleased with his work and spoke of all his travels around the world.

New doors on back order

April 11,2022 Home Depot to check on doors. No show

April 15, 2022 Home Depot to check on doors again

April18, 2022 Home Depot stated they would be here between 8-10 am. They showed at 12:30. Had a new door to replace from slider. They took off shims from current door. Took door off frame and placed new door on current frame. This made the stationary window in the frame very loose.

April 26. Call to Cassie from my husband regarding instability of window in frame.

March 29, 2022 Dan from Home Depot takes down notes and videotapes door issues. Is condescending to me and states, "So you're Very Frustrated. Is that right?" While underlining and and writing notes in bold letters.

Our back sliding door was not installed correctly. The framing is not straight so the door wont close, They both have a gap between the frame and window that you can slide a putty knife thru. We have had to duct tape them to stop air leakage.

This is not acceptable work or service. This has been an awful experience. So much so that we will not be shopping at Home Depot until this is rectified(if ever again).

This matter needs your immediate attention.

Home Depot Dishwasher/ Home Depot/ Assurant

I wish I would have seen all of the complaints before I purchased an appliance from The Home Depot... All I can do now is NEVER make that mistake again. The warranty was a total joke. The Home Depot sold us a piece of junk that barely made it 2 years. They sent technicians out 7-8 times and just kept ordering parts, saying that this was the last time they would try to fix it before replacing. Who knows how many more times they would have said that? The last time they came, they again said that it was fixed. Again it was not. We gave up and got a new dishwasher. Lesson learned!

Home Depot Citi bank / HD credit card

Citi bank has decreased my my credit limit by $4000.00 on one card for not using it as much as they want me to . They threaten by letter first and if you don't run out and use your card they will decrease your limit. This is a threatening business practice. By decreasing my credit it ups my credit card utilization which damages my overall credit score.

Desired outcome: Stop Citi bank from these business practices or change banks.

Home Depot Delivery

Home Depot contracted a third party company to deliver a refrigerator I ordered, and the refrigerator was not delivered. The drivers reported that they waited the 15 minutes, but my Ring camera shows they waited two minutes at my home. They lied about parking at the bottom of our driveway, and my Ring camera shows they parked two houses away. The camera could barely catch their truck due to the many trees in our neighborhood. My son went outside while they were in their truck, and they said they didn’t see anybody, but they could not see our house due to being parked at our neighbors two houses down. The driver asked why he did not walk down the driveway and down the street. He complained about our driveway being long and steep and said “I don’t want to walk up and down there.” One of them set a clipboard or binder on the hood of one of my vehicles and proceeded to lean on it as well. My sons are intellectually disabled, but they are capable of staying home alone for a bit and accepting deliveries. My daughter is having problems with her vision, so I ran into town to take her to the optometrist. I told my sons they were coming and exactly where the delivery people needed to place the fridge. It should have taken no time for them to place the fridge and be on their way. The driver told me my sons should not be accepting deliveries since they are intellectually disabled. I was lied to and my sons were discriminated against for being disabled. I would appreciate someone contacting me about this situation, and I want a refrigerator that has not been rattling around in a truck for a full day. I would also like another delivery company or different drivers as these individuals obviously do not want to work with us. Thank your for your time, and I look forward to hearing from someone from Home Depot.

Home Depot Complaint

Home Depot could not complete a Simple 5 window install job. Measurements incorrect, screens don't fit, windows do not stay open, complete mess, been going back and forth with Home Depot since November, they give you a bunch of BS excuses, it is now June 6, 2022, no one at Home Depot responds to emails or has the professional courtesy to call. Horrible service, and to boot, they put a lien on your property until you pay even though the job is not completed. Don't get me started on the worthless sub contractor they sent to originally install the windows, they leave the place a mess, footprints on my new hardwood flooring, they tore up the flooring installing a door, they dented the soffits on the exterior, plus more damage to the interior, filthy, messy people. Please think twice before you hire Home Depot

Home Depot Delivery

I ordered a bathroom vanity on 05/06/2022 from Home Depot and received an email on 05/18/2022 saying that it was going to be delivered that date. I checked NSD website, and it showed my vanity had been in Dallas since 05/14/2022. The vanity was not delivered. I received several updates from Home Depot to give me delivery updates, but NSD website did not show it was out for delivery. I called Home Depot and NSD every day, I let them know I had a remodel project started and the contractor needed the vanity to complete the job. Home Depot kept telling me that they sent urgent emails to NSD but they got no response. I tried calling NSD several times but they put you on hold and after 15 minutes a recording says they will call back but they never return calls. I again called Home Depot and the CSR said due to the circumstances NSD would deliver my vanity on Sunday or Monday (Memorial weekend), again no update on their website and no delivery. I finally got notice from Home Depot that my delivery had been scheduled for 06/03/2022 between 12-2pm, this was also the update that was on NSD website. We waited all day and no delivery, I messaged NSD at 4pm and the CSR said it was still going to be delivered but no one ever showed up. I looked this morning and it still shows that it is out for delivery.

Desired outcome: NSD deliver my vanity. Home Depot stop using NSD!

Home Depot Door installation in Tampa

My wife and I remodeled our home last June. We used Home Depot to replace all of our windows and doors, as well as two HVAC units. The total cost for both projects was over $55,000.00. It is now a year later and we still do not have the correct door frame for one of our doors. We have a "temporary" frame that is not fully installed. I have been dealing with complete incompetence with the staff they assigned to me. I was dealing with Tommy Faye out of St. Pete Florida. Tommy had a problem of not calling me back (all of this is documented). The last time I spoke with Tommy I told him I wasn't going to deal with him. I had contacted his boss Tony DeFrancisco requesting another representative. To this date Mr. DeFrancisco has not called me back. On June 1st we were scheduled to have the frame installed. When the crew showed up, again, they had the wrong door frame. I am completely livid over the matter and I want someone to contact me regarding the incompetence of this "team".

Home Depot Appliance delivery and price adjustment policy

I am completely livid over my home depot appliance experience. I ordered the LG appliance Kitchen Package on May 3rd. My soonest delivery date was June 2 so I decided to wait because I wanted the package. The week before my delivery the same exact package was almost $1000 cheaper so I decided to inquire about the price adjustment since it was the same package at the same store. I sent an email requesting the price adjustment thinking it was a very simple thing. After almost two days I finally receive an answer saying they have no idea what I am referring to and the package is the same price. So I sent a picture of their ad and my receipt, to then get a claim saying she couldn't open my picture. Hmmm, well than others got involved and started telling me that in order to get the new sales price I would need to cancel my order and reorder it. Ok I was fine with that until I then found out that if I did that, I was going to have to wait a minimum of another 1 1/2 - 2 months to get my new delivery date. So let me get this straight my package is ready for delivery June 2 but I am going to be punished if I get the sales prices and now have to wait months longer. Since it was the day before my delivery, I decided not to cancel. However I did find the same fridge at Lowe's on sale and requested a price match for at least that since they didn't want to do their own price match and got absolutely no response. Meanwhile, please understand I have been bounced speaking to many different people getting many different answers to this whole situation had become extremely frustrating. Well my appliance delivery came yesterday so I was at least looking forward to that since this whole price adjustment had been so frustrating. As soon as and I mean as soon the delivery driver walks in the door he is like oh no no I can't install your dishwasher per home depots rules because of a 45 degree angle and you need to get a plumber. So again I had to call because I was given no direction on what I supposed to do and bounced around to 4 different people, only to find out that I will get a refund for the installation that I paid and to get my own plumber. I have had Home Depot appliances installed before and had no issue, so this surprised that this could happen. I have to wait three weeks for a plumber and no one is even remotely apologetic about the situation because I was refunded the installation fee, like it's not a big deal. Well it is especially when I have already been dealing with this situation and if you at least warn your customers that you may not install in my appliances, I could have arranged for someone to come sooner than having to wait three weeks. Well at this point, I responded back with the complaint requesting for a supervisor to get involved. Well that didn't happen instead this time was told that price adjustments happen after delivery not before and to call the appliance hot line. That was my response to all of my complaints instead of getting a supervisor involved per my request. Well I did call the number and at first seemed like I was getting help, and no I still have not been able to speak to supervisor. I figured at the very least this person would help me get the price adjustment since now it had been delivered and that what she just told me. Again different information than before. Now this new person I was speaking with started out by saying you don't have cancel orders and reorder them and she could help me. Well she looked through everything and I waited and then she well yes since it was package deal you had to cancel and reorder for that price adjustment. So I was like well can you at least price adjust the fridge I found at Lowe's and was told no you are just outside the 30 day window, how convenient and mind you should not apply since I requested this several days ago. Then I said well I got a 15% coupon that was sent to me after I had placed my order could you at least somehow credit that and was told no. So I then proceeded to ask for a supervisor to get involved because this is now more than just a price adjustment issue, it is about my whole experience and how I do not feel valued as a customer and how frustrating my experience has been. I was told they were not available on her end and to call the same number I just called, and guess what I did and I am tired of it. One of these employees should get the supervisor involved like I requested. I was also told that they did nothing wrong as they advised me to cancel and reorder and basically it was my choice not to wait the two months, which again I was going to be punished to have to wait to more months to get the savings. Why did no one at least acknowledge the price adjustment I requested for the Fridge at Lowe's because conveniently today is too late to help me. The bottom line is I really wish someone would look at this whole experience and get someone involved that actually cared to help which is all I requested. Instead I am left feeling very unvalued and frustrated and not wanting to be a loyal home depot customer anymore.

Desired outcome: I would like a supervisor, like I have been requesting, to get involved to honor some sort of price adjustment or the coupon I have.

Home Depot Mulch - Loading Assistance

On June 1, I purchased 15 bags of Scotts mulch at your Bluffton, SC store. When I parked at the loading area, there was not an attendant to load the bags in my car. After waiting about five minutes, I returned to the salesperson and he called someone and said they would be coming to the loading area. I waited ten minutes and finally, frustrated and angry, I decided to load the bags myself. (Nearby, a lady was loading bags in her car. She also was not happy!) While I was loading the bags, my wife returned to the help desk and asked to speak to a manager. After 10 minutes, my wife returned to the car, livid. Sir/madam, this is the worst customer service I have encountered in many years.

Desired outcome: I think you should refund the amount of the charge - $47.70.

Home Depot Tool rental - boom lift

During this past memorial day weekend, I went to Home Depot (Covington, LA) to rent a boom lift. On the parking lot they had 4 units. Once I enter the store to ask for information to rent one, the first attendant told me the price for the day and then told me they did not have any available. When I informed her that they had 4 in the parking lot, a second attendant jumped in the conversation and told me they were waiting for repair and maintenance. I explain to them why I needed this (to paint my home) but they did not offer me options or a timeline on when this will be available. I even ask them if one of the other home depot stores had them but they said their system did not offer that to check other store's availability. Even when I try to check homedepot.com to rent it out, it quickly offered to deliver it with a $99 charge (one way) but this is not acceptable for me.

Desired outcome: To inform me when will they have this equipment either repaired or maintain in order for me to schedule the pickup.

Home Depot Online ordering

I placed an online order for a Toro lawnmower on 5/23/2022 and was told via email on 5/26/2022 that there would be a five business day delay in shipping due to shipping contractor issues. I was told this by an associate in a text. I then canceled my online order and confirmed it with an HD associate via text. I then went to a local HD store and bought a lawnmower. Of course there was no one to help an elderly man with a bad back lift a 200lb box into a car which is why I ordered online in the first place.

Then two days later on 5/28/2022 hd sends a shipping request to fedex to deliver a lawnmower I no longer needed. I called hd and they were zero help,

Now this elderly man with a bad back needs to lug a 200lb box back to a hd store and hope there are no problems,

What an utter fiasco. Are this company’s systems so antiquated that they can’t process cancellations in a timely manner? Look at the wasted human effort and potential injury needed to get this nonsense straightened out.

Desired outcome: HD needs to stop this nonsense, hopefully it’s not a deliberate attempt to make customers buy what they no longer want

Home Depot Returns/exchanges

I bought a brand new window air conditioner from home depot. The air conditioner was a little over 400 dollars. I got home tried to put the ac in and it was a tiny bit to big and would not fit. So I went to home depot to exchange the air conditioner for a smaller one.

A few days before I attempted to exchange the ac. My wallet was either lost or stolen. So not only was my receipt gone so was my debit card and credit cards, drivers license everything. I got my ID and cards replaced

When attempting to exchange the ac. I was asked for id since I did not have the receipt or the exact debit card I used. I was denied the exchange.

I have not returned a single thing without a receipt in over 4 years. Their was zero reason for the home depot and the the retail equation to deny the exchange. I didn't want cash back. I wanted a small air conditioner. So now I'm stuck with a window ac I can not use.

Desired outcome: I would like to either exchange the ac I have with a smaller ac or recieve a store credit so I can get the ac I need.

Home Depot lack of material

I have been to 4 Home Depot stores in the Las Vegas area looking for 16x16x1.75in Yukon concrete step pavers. On the website and app. it shows totals of rainbow-arroyo crossing qt. 453, west central Las Vegas qt. 164, south Las Vegas qt. 260, and Summerlin qt. 310. At the rainbow store I was told that they would have some on the shelve the next morning, when I went back there were no pavers, called and was told they could not find any. My question is are there any of these pavers in Las Vegas or are the employees too lazy or understaffed to put products on the shelf. My plans to get a project done are bases on your inventory numbers, are there any these pavers available or do I need to find another solution?
