Home Depot Canopy

We purchased a Leisure Season Wooden Patio Swing Seater with Canopy (SKU WSWC102) from Home Depot on April 14, 2019. We like the swing a lot however over the winter the canopy was ripped to shreds. I contacted Home Depot to purchase a replacement canopy. They referred me to Leisure Season @ [protected]. I called them 8 times and left messages that I would like to purchase another canopy. I also went to their website and sent them an email requesting to purchase the canopy. It's been well over a month and I've never received a response from this company in any form.

I am very dissatisfied with the lack of customer concern and would highly recommend other customers not purchase this item.

Desired outcome: a replacement canopy.

Home Depot Online and Store experience.

Placed order yesterday ,May 22, 2022. Received email a missing product.

Product description lacked important information about weight of the item.

Cheryl in call center offered a great deal of assistance. ,However Home

Depot's information is extremely misleading regarding weight of the products.

Followed up with local store in MD.

Can't get a Mgr . Customer service department could not be bothered to follow up.

Desired outcome: Online information needes to be corrected . Website is unfriendly to end user.

Home Depot Appliance delivery

I have a complaint and nowhere to lodge it about my recent customer experience.

This email should be escalated. Please escalate.

5/6/2022 – Placed an order for a dryer

5/14/2022 – Dryer was delivered and was damaged – I was told to call Home Depot by the delivery driver. The dryer did not work properly before the driver left my home.

5/14/2022 – Called Home Depot and set up a new delivery for 5/23/2022

5/23/2022 – Dryer never delivered. I called the delivery driver who informed me that he came to my house and left a note on the front door. Driver had the wrong description of my house. I advised the driver that he never came to my house. I was told to call Home Depot.

5/23/2022 – Called Home Depot. Was told that 1 system indicated the dryer had been delivered. Was told that another system indicated the dryer had not been delivered. I was told that I would have to wait until the next delivery date of 5/31/2022. I asked if the matter could be escalated and I was told no.

This is completely unacceptable customer service. My intention is to share this experience everywhere I can because this makes me extremely angry and dissatisfied.

Desired outcome: Appliance delivery before 5/31.

Mindy from Asurion. [protected] called to ask if we still need

dishwasher to be serviced.

Purchased from Home Depot April 01, 2019

1. 2-27-20 [protected] - top panel

2. 6-25-20 [protected] bottom sprayer

3. 11-12-20 [protected] top panel

4. 1-19-21 [protected] top door panel again.

5. 3-6-22 [protected] leaking - was told we are not rinsing

dishes off. - We do. Franks TV Appliances

6. 4-21-22 [protected] - leaking again. Talked to Ben. Told issue being moved up.

Franks appliance - They do not respond well to calls or text

messages.

Sometimes leak is small and goes under the dishwasher - We

are on Pier & Beam. Worried about damage and mold

Sometimes leak is so bad we put down 3 large beach towels.

At this point we would like it replaced and floor fixed if needed.

Desired outcome: Replace dishwasher and repair floor if needed.

Home Depot Home Depot Credit Services/Unauthorized Credit Charges/

They are trying to charge me for orders that were cancelled or refunded in April of 2022. There were two different charges on my statement that I never charged. I have called their customer service hotline. It doesn't seem to me that they know what they are doing. I closed the account out, because I didn't owe any money. They are saying that I owe them over $600.

Desired outcome: I would like the issue resolved and they can let the credit agencies that they reported this to that they made a mistake.

Home Depot Asurion Protection Plan

I purchased the Asurion Protection 5 year plan on my dishwasher. I have played telephone tag with Asurion for five hours... each time they say things are being processed and then they e-mail me with another item that they requested that I already sent in. I have included the item, with all of the item details, the purchase date and store, the price of the product and the price paid for the plan, the SKU on both items, and the Claim # and they still are dragging their feet. I've been trying for four days to get some satisfaction, and the service is so bad that I will NEVER buy extended protection again. It seems like they just want to wear you down, so you give up and they can just pocket the money.

VERY POOR service in all respects.

Home Depot LG refrigerator 5 year warranty-not cooling

I called Monday evening 5/16/22 to start my claim process. They gave me a date of 5/19 8am-4pm for a service tech to come diagnose and gave me claim numbers for my fridge and food loss. I took off work on 5/19 and waited until 10:45 am to check the status as I had not heard anything. The LG service center (Asurion transferred me) assured me they were coming and would call when they were about 30 min out…. I waited until 4 and nothing. Called Asurion back and got put on hold then disconnected. I called back, got transferred again to a management specialist. After I explained to her and was increasingly frustrated she put me on mute and then put me on hold after a couple minutes, then the call was “dropped”. I called again and the person I spoke to told me they could not find that I even had a service call and wanted to know who promised that they would be here today (are you kidding me?). They told me Asurion just sent the request Wednesday when I had called Monday and it would be another 3-5 days. I told them that was unacceptable. In total I had to call them back 6 times as a result of getting hung up on. I will be staying on their [censored]. $300 food loss won’t even cover the condiments that I had to throw away (who knows if I’ll even get that).

Desired outcome: Honor the warranty and fix or replace asap

I'd love to assist.

You've suggested you have a five year warranty. Who is that though?

The manufacturer's warranty is a one year limited, five year sealed system -- part only and prorated, ten year compressor -- part only and prorated.

I need to know the specifics of the warranty coverage and the date of purchase.

Home Depot Charged wrong amount

On may 18th 2022 , I went to the West Seneca , NY home depot to purchase

more fieldstone 8 X 12 caps. I had purchased them several days prior so I knew exactly what I had purchase. AT checkout the associate didn't seem to know what was going on. Her name Rebeca. She seemed really slow. she asked me what the product was and I told her exactly what the product was. IT was 8 x12 fieldstone cap exactly. she rang up the purchase and I paid with my HD card.

The price seemed to be way too high, so Iooked at the receipt and she had entered the wrong product. I told her she had made an error and she told me that there was NOTHING that she could do, and go get the item code. now remember- I'm 67 yrs old pushing a 300 + cart and was supposed to go to customer service out of the garden center area and back into the main entrance

to get it rectified. The representative at customer service gave me a credit and entered the exact item which I told Rebecca in the first place. She charged me for the correct item and I asked to see a manager- which never happened. Why has HD customer service gone down the tubs. On my previous purchase for the same item ,your sales associates were just as bad - as i stood on a cart to get product off a top shelf as the walked by on their cell phone- You really have gone to [censored] What say you

Home Depot Delivery the order

I ordered a dishwasher at Mat 5th 2022. It is rescheduled 6 times. Simply they kept lie about the product. Original late delivery date is acceptable but it is not acceptable not to be in time even once. But It happened 6 times. Every time another excuse and kindly reschedule with same memorized words.

Sorry, but my feeling that you sell the product but you deliver whenever they are available in your store. It looks that you don't mind how long and how many times it is delayed.

Every time I was promised it would be delivered and I would be called 30 minutes ago before heading to my house (possible for non-available product).

Home Depot today (May 18th, 2022) tried to reschedule my order again. During today I called and ask if I can trust this time and I was promised that it would be by 8:00 PM. And when I called again just before 8:00 PM they said

it will be rescheduled again.

And I canceled the order. I am very upset to believe home depot and wait 5 or 6 times reschedules.

Dishwasher is important for working people.

Last thing is about payment. I paint instantaneously by Credit Card but I was told I will get the money in 3-5 days.

Home Depot Installation of a fence at my home

my Fence project was submitted in July of last year 2021 a salesman by the name of Buzz fencing came out took my order it took longer than promised for someone to come out but when they did show up it was a man and his wife they could not speak English they did not even let me know they had started my husband was leaving and saw them and called me to let me know my salesmen had told me he would be there to oversee but he was on a honeymoon. They installed a fence high up off the ground and the gate was dragging and the wood had spit on 20 to 30 post which i was told was warped wood another contractor came out and changed out the wood but during the course all kind of trash and animals were getting in my back yard I reached out to home depot and the company sent out another guy to correct the problem but when he came he had a different type of wood he told me that since i was getting my fence panted this wood would not look bad so i let him place the pieces but the gate he put in the entire part cracked into so i reached out again to home depot and a gentleman from buzz called and said he would be out to check on the gate and would call but he didn't call he just showed up hours frim the time he said he was coming he took the broken part of the gate and told me he would be back out in a couple of days to fix the gate but as of today he has not called or showed up I called the buzz several times since the day he came out April 25 and no answer so I left messages I contacted homedepot spoke with several customer care reps assured me I would be contacted but as Of today I have not so I contacted home depot today spoke with a gentleman he left messages with a Dist Service manager and the owner of Buzz and my case number #[protected] for someone to handle my case Im crossing my fingers for a call but I still want to be made whole from Home Depot my number is 214/797/3456 My Name is Cathy Wesley I hope no never will ever have to deal with a situation like this. I am exhausted disgusted and very unsatisfied customer.

Desired outcome: I would like to be made whole and for a manager from Home Depot come out to inspect and see if they would like to pay 3000 dollars for horrible installation

Home Depot Maurice Curtis-Smith

I helped Maurice for a very long time in school and he ended up scamming me for 200$ I can provide all the proof it was him and I would love to have him fired for being such a scum bag.

Desired outcome: I would like for him to pay the money he owes me or even better just fire him. He scammed me yesterday on discord 5/15/22 while I was helping him do his work he was at work and because I trusted him, I didn't think he would scam me.

Home Depot the Kingman AZ store,-Stockton Hill -dress of a employee

I was at the Kingman Home depot today Sunday May 15,2022

in the garden Area Check out, the Girl that waited on me, was disgustingly dressed, piercings in nose, ears, tattoos/dressed in black, hair was pitch black real wavy curly/stringy down shoulder length/slightly passed/wear boots that obviously came from Fetish store, They were imitation of KISS Boots, the rock band/which some online places sell them like Devonia, or starlets and harlots, or KISS Online, her clothing was also matched to this outrageous wear. She looked like she was going to a rock concert in Los Angeles or Detroit. I don't think that is proper attire for a home depot employee to be wearing./also the black makeup so thick you could scrap it off and wear again the next following days, Its unprofessional, and does not represent home depot . I know home depot has somewhat of a dress code, she looked utter ridiculous, and teens, and young adults, and 20 to 30 something adults moving here from California, or other states is giving Kingman a bad rap by thinking they can dress like that. When I was working retail and your talking in the 1980s and early 1990s, Men couldn't even have long hair, tattoos had to be covered up, absurd plugs and piercings was not acceptable and her clothing certainly was not acceptable, I realize this is 2022, but its not right,

Desired outcome: Yes reprimand if she wants to dress like that, she should move back to LA or where ever she came from/and if she is going to work at Kingman Az Home Depot, she needs to dress with a standard dress code of home depot

Home Depot Store credit card

I returned a generater I bought online, like I went to pick it up and decided I couldn't use it so I never even left the store with the generater. So I was isued a store credit card for 426$ and was told I'd have to show my ID when I used it. Well it got stolen and that person obviously can't show my ID so if they don't reissue me a card they are just going to be like taking that money from me

Home Depot Custom cabinets and countertops

Went to Home Depot to have custom cabinets and countertops installed. The salesperson I worked with was very good and did all she could to resolve the situation.

When design was finalized and I was happy with colors and layout, the problem was with payment. Tuesday, I tried to write a personal check, it was declined because it was over $13,000.00. I went to the bank came back with a cashier's check and again it was declined. Then I'm told I had to wait 24hrs because of too many declines. Couldn't make it back the next day, received a call Thursday that I would need a new cashier's check because it couldn't be more than a day from date printed on check. Another check and another $5 fee for a new check. There were 4 people trying to figure how to accept the cashier's check. Almost an hour and a half later, I walked out of there with my check and no cabinets. How is a cashier's check not an acceptable form of payment? NEVER AGAIN HOME DEPOT...closing the account

Home Depot Delivery

HOME DEPOT,

I do not know what you can possible do to me/us to keep us as repeat customers of Home Depot!

I ordered a new dishwasher from Home Depot - against my husbands wishes who prefers Lowes over Home Depot but I told him I had ordered all my appliances from Home Depot when I lived in Minnesota and loved Home Depot.

We received a message that our dishwasher would be delivered between 3:45 - 7:45pm on Saturday May 7th.

I called, responded and confirmed that we would be present during that time period.

We had been invited to a much anticipated Kentucky Derby party with the main event taking place at 5pm Mountain Time but cancelled due to this scheduled time.

We had hopes the dishwasher would be delivered in time for us still catch part of this party.

At 7:45 pm we still had not received our dishwasher!

We had hired a plumber/installer to install the dishwasher on Saturday (He charges more for a weekend but this is when you

stated it would be delivered!) At 7:45 he was getting anxious and so were we.

We called Home Depot - Helena, MT and spoke to "Dylan" who stated that someone else was also waiting for their delivery so it may be another hour or so for us to get our dishwasher but it would still be delivered.

Our installer decided to wait rather than returning - so we waited.

At 8:30 Dylan from Home Depot called to ask if our appliance was delivered. We told him no but we were still waiting. He then stated that it likely would not be delivered. WHAT? After all the promises and the notices that it would be - and cancelling the party - and hiring an installer -and waiting all afternoon and evening - and now no dishwasher?

And we had received no phone call to explain the delay nor the cancellation. ( Dylan did say that the driver had my phone number to call - but we heard nothing! )

We expected to hear something that evening about the delay - and a new delivery time and date - but nothing!

We then expected to hear something the following day - but nothing!

It is now Monday evening and still we have heard nothing!

NOTHING!

In our opinion Home Depot is the most irresponsible and most unprofessional company on this universe. That is how we feel about Home Depot!

So - what are you going to do to change our opinion - and that of others - and what about all the additional expenses (Hired Plumber) we have incurred because of the NO SHOW & NO FOLLOW UP?

We are waiting to hear - as right now " Word-of-mouth & Online reviews can be the BEST or the WORST advertising !

What will you do to change our opinion?

AND WHERE IS OUR DISHWASHER?

I appreciate your frustration.

The Home Depot is a strong provider of many name brand appliances. You're fortunate to have one of their stores within your location.

It is always recommended to never schedule any form of installation on the same day of delivery because of such delays.

Unfortunately, there's nothing more I can provide. It would be a good idea to be proactive and reach out to the store you've purchased it from. If you haven't already received your new dishwasher, however, please let us know.

Home Depot Representative / no cashiers available

I was at the store in Aurora Colorado on Mississippi. After trying to go to a register, the representative said they were closed. There was no cashier available other than self check out. The representative said someone would help me at self check out. No one was helping. I saw other customers getting frustrated that no registers were open. I went over there to self check out and no one was helping me. The associate who's name is Ammad,, said I was talking [censored]. But all i said is nonone is helping and and no register was open other than self check out. Before I left,, I asked for his name,,, Ammad.

Desired outcome: Just to fix the situation. And please let the associate know what his job is.

Home Depot Elite Kitchen Supply34.4 cu. ft. Commercial Merchandiser Refrigerator

Hello,Greetings for the Day!

I ordered an ELITE 2 door fridge for my Store. I ordered a new fridge and paid the price for a new one but what I received looks like an old Fridge Home Depot sent .

My store is about to open and all my work is finished and today when i opened it it was broken and looked like it was a used one. How can I use this display fridge for my new store? Everything I am buying is new for my store.

Home Depot Husky Garage Storage Cabinets

I have purchased some Husky garage storage cabinet in the past. The quality was unmatched by anyone. Very heavy duty, superb finish, and easy to assemble! I had given this cabinet a AAAA++++ and bragged how good they were to all. However, that last 48" wide cabinet [Order #WP20529933] that I purchased was dramatically different. Very lightweight and the finish was noticeably thin and even less quality on the interior. They also have changed to packaging to use way less styrofoam and more protective film that is very difficult to remove...It adds several minutes to the assembly. I am so very disappointed! They took a great cabinet and turned it into another average piece of lightweight garbage. Then they have the nerve to end up charging more for it! I realize that we are experiencing some unusual times and cost are up but that is no excuse to cheat me on the quality too. I have attached a photo of the carton weight comparison below. It proves that they have dramatically lightened up the product. The photos show I still have 2 - 36 x 18" cabinets that are still in cartons that I bought last year. The other photo showing the weight of the last 48" x 18" that I bought. The earlier 36" x 18" cabinet [Order #WD80645856] that I bought has a carton weight of 191.29lbs. The last 48" x 18" cabinet that I purchased had a carton weight of 177lbs. My memory tells me that I recall the carton weight on the 48" cabinets purchased previously [Order#WJ34038558] were close to 250lbs.

This is very disturbing to me...so so very disappointed!

Desired outcome: I would like to have the heavy-duty cabinet that I have paid for.

Home Depot American Disabilities Act complaint

Re: Pasadena #0565 5455 Fairmont Parkway Pasadena, TX [protected]

On April 28, 2020 I visited the aforementioned Home Depot store to do my shopping. I am a 100% Disabled USMC Veteran who uses the Handicap Parking spaces when one is available for I have limited walking capabilities. On three different occasions I have found shopping carts and/or the orange loading carts completely blocking a handicap parking space. I have personally addressed this issue to management each time and once again I have found these loading carts blocking a handicap parking space. This repeated problem continues without any changes to date. The next time I find these orange loading carts blocking a handicap parking space I am going to formally file a complaint with the American Disabilities Act federal office along with a copy of this attached photo. I trust my complaint will be addressed and this issue resolved.
