Home Depot Poor Quality Tile Installation

Home Depot uses USIG to save money at the customer expense. It has been over a month trying to resolve the poor tile installation. I spoke Carina @ the Silverlake location with a temporary resolution because USIG provide incorrect information. USIG sent an inexperienced installer with no pride in the quality of work the customer pays for. Home Depot completed the selection of materials and the main they wanted to discuss was cost. I went to the Silverlake to pay as instructed and had to wait almost an hour for someone to come to Flooring. I was exhaust, frustrated and livid at Home Depot but USIG was worse. For the 4th time in USIG sent an installer to correct the tile issue, USIG District Manager (Ahmad) breezed through the areas then told more what they couldn’t do rather than what they will do. This USIG District Manager is very dismissive, rude and think customers are stupid.

Desired outcome: Correct their poor quality job without any additional customer charge.

Home Depot Rubbermaid Shelf

When the price sticker advertises this shelf as 10" x48" and its states the same thing when you ring it up, thats what I expect it to be. I had them cut this shelf, needing a 28" and 2- 10" pieces. After he cut the first piece then it was brought to my attention one of the 10" would be short by .4 of an inch. If someone needs exact for a project, them that's what they need. Since he had already cut it, I had to go buy another $ 12.98 shelf to get one 10" board. This is deceptive and I guess you have to get a magnifier and read the small print on the item to know what it is since Home Depot is falsely advertising the product. I'm going to start reading all the labels or shop somewhere else if this is their practice..

Desired outcome: I want an explanation and a refund for 1 on these shelves.

Home Depot Confusion and miscommunication regarding item that was ordered

On 9/25/23 I submitted the order for Cesica 6 piece outdoor conversation set with coffee cushion and received confirmation via email shortly. This item has been on the save later list for about 3 weeks. Later in the evening, I received a txt message informing me that the set with the coffee cushion was of stock and asked if I would consider the one with the blue cushion. The following day I declined the offer and asked for a refund. A few minutes later another txt message came telling me I need to cancel the order on line to get a refund.

I called customer service very upset and told

the very nice lady Home Depot should be the one to cancel since they accepted the order that turned out to be out of stock after we received the confirmation.

The lady went ahead and canceled the order.

A similar set Renusya with coffee cushion was available and in stock. The lady checked with the manufacturer and was told 200 are available. She then assisted me in ordering the set.

On 10/03/23 to my wife’s dismay, the set with blue cushions arrived. Either no one checked or the person I charge of packing on was color blind.

I called customer service and spoke with Jesua. He checked the order record and it showed the one with the coffee cushion. Order number is CG43973372. He was very helpfully, called the manufacturer and then told me that the wrong set will be picked up in 2-5 days and a replacement with the coffee cushion will be delivered.

I called NSD on 10/04/23, was told thec up will be in 3- 5 days.

On 10/04/23 I received two emails from Home Deport. One email said the item was delivered and other said it is out for delivery.

I spoke with 2 agents via txt yesterday to clarify the delivery status. Later realized the the item that was delivered via UPS is a 5x 7 small box with one coffe cushion cover. Found out later Edith mailed it to us to replace the blue covers. Why send one cover for the entire 6 piece set?

Another agent checked all the recent emails with customer service and said there is no record regarding a replacement.

The two emails to customer care were not responded to either.

So as of now my wife and I are in a limbo.

I am waiting to schedule a pickup with NSD. Will review the monthly statement to ensure all orders are accurately billed in the account including a refund for the returned set.

Moving forward, my wife and I will need to assess if keeping the Home Depot account is all worth it.

This is the worst customer service we have ever experienced. The extended payments for big items with no interest is nice but not worth the stress and all the troubles. Bank cards offer reward so it balances it out and with not troubles.

Home Depot Delivery & set-up Washer

We paid for a clothes washer about two weeks ago. We were told the item was not in stock and had to be ordered and we were told it would be delivered/installed on 5 October. On the 5th my wife stayed home; but nothing was delivered nor were we notified by the store [Decherd Tennessee] of any change of the delivery date. I went to the store to find out what the problem was. They seemed unaware of their obligation to deliver the washer. After fiddling around on their computer; they claimed the contracted delivery service had had some sort of problem and the delivery date was now changed to 10 October. We were never notified of the delivery problem or the change of delivery date and the 'service desk' personnel seemed to be rather unconcerned about their failure to notify us of the change of delivery date. It is unprofessional and inconsiderate at best.

Desired outcome: Keep the customer informed and at least pretend that you care about the problem ...

Home Depot Home depot will not allow a non-profit organization

Home Depot will not allow a non-profit organization to use a $550 refund card!Our volunteer ambulance corps purchased $4,000 of vinyl flooring from Home depot in May 2022. We returned the extra flooring.

We attempted to use the cards for a large purchase in September 2023. The cards were tied to a driver's license number that we suspect belonged to our captain who has since passed away.

Home Depot has refused to allow us to use the balance on the cards. A 90-minute phone call was made to corporate customer service and we were assured we would be able to use the cards. Today, the store manager called and said that he will not let us use the balance on the cards.

Home Depot claims that they are honoring first responders in October. Our experience shows otherwise.

First of all, there's no return policy. And they don't tell you that when you buy something! So, if you get something that's not what you expected, tough luck. They make you jump through all these hoops, asking for pictures and screenshots and all that, just to stall and not give you a refund. It's like they're trying to rob you!...

Home Depot WG41154750 refund still not provided after 3 weeks

Order WG41154750 (on line order) was damaged and was picked up by Home Depot (Waldorf MD) on Sept 9, 2023. After numerous calls with the Home Depot appliance customer service team where I was put on hold for more than an hour each time, multiple "tickets" have been submitted, and I still do not have my refund as of 29 Sept 2023. It has been 3 weeks!

Desired outcome: Refund provided in the amount of $2,966.94

Home Depot Generic top freezer refrigerator

I ordered two appliances that were to be delivered on September 21,2023. The washing machine was delivered OK, but the fridge was dented so I refused it. Home Depot was to let me know when the re-delivery would occur, but did not. I had to call in for that. They informed me they could not deliver it until 9/28/23. I was to get a text the night before letting me know the delivery time window, but did not receive anything. I had to call in to get this as well.

Not once did anyone at Home Depot apologize for now wasting an additional four hours of my time, not to mention not having the appliance I needed a week and a half ago. TERRIBLE SERVICE.

The only good part about it was the sales person, Lewis. Your company desperately needs a customer service overhaul.

Desired outcome: I want an apology and a reimbursement for my wasted time.

Home Depot No help loading materials

I'm a veteran and a 64 yr. old on disability, i bought almost 1,000 dollars of paneling and lumber today. i asked help loading my items and was told they would be someone right out. i waited 20 minutes and asked again for help, same answer they would be right out. waited 15 more minutes and started loading myself. i had a customer come by and said he would help me but had crew waiting on him to return, but he would tell them inside i needed help, when he went inside i heard him tell them that i was needing help loading. i continued to load my merchandise. when i finished i went to the pro desk and explained what had just happened all i got was sorry, not I'll get you a manager or we will look into for you. i think it fell on deaf ears. This was the poplar bluff Home Depot. I wonder how many times this happens, because like i said didn't seem to be much of a big deal when i reported it. thanks

Home Depot Design consultant broke my blind and disappeared

In early June, design Consultant George Kilner came to my property at 4616 Venice Way, San Jose, CA to give me an estimation of window replacement. While checking on the windows, he broke one of the blind.
He called his manager and said they will replace it for me. I emailed him a few times after the incident but I never heard back. I need money compensation for this damaged property caused by HD employee's negligence.

bought it DEC 26,2022, having so much trouble using it, so went to custumer service in Panorama City Home Depot, a male staff told me I can be help better if I go to Burbank home depot, I decided to call first and the lady told me it is still under RYOBI warranty and that the extender warranty is not going to kick off after Ryobi warranty expires, she gave me a [protected] to call, I found B & R lawnmower at 20032 Saticoy st winnetca Ca 91306 [protected], I call that number and said they repair ryobi table saw and I need to bring the receipt, went back to Panorama city HD customer service tod her about my case and explain to me about warranty and service at that time she told me theres a guy who specialize in Ryobi and they are having a showcase in the parking lot, went there talk to the gentleman and given my case and repair service and yes they can help me there at B & R lawn mower service, weny there 9/26/2023 explain my case and they want me to pay 50$ aside from the warranty I paid at Home depot, and even told me the table saw has no more parts available parts, went to P. C home depot and told my case and they want me to call warranty service, am so upset being given a run around for something that doesnt work and at my age dont have time for it so I left the item and leave.

I recently purchased two different Delta bathroom faucets (Port model and Portwood model) from the Home Depot in tempa, Fl. Both faucets were on the shelf in zip-tied sealed boxes, but both had been previously sold and returned.

Home Depot Order #H4279-108751NB vinyl planking

RE: 45B MARITIME DRIVE, CHARLESTOWN, RI 02813

We went into Home Depot Store #4279 in Coventry, RI, to start an order for TM 8M Oak Knoll WR 23.69 sq footage beginning on December 16, 2022. We have a receipt for said order on 12/16/22 at 1:24pm in the amount of $4239.07.

We were told that it would not be installed before Christmas, yet it looked possible for before January 01, 2023. It was installed in February 2023. The installation was very fast. There was a tear in one of our new occasion chairs which I forward to the installer, with no response.

This condo is a half year rental, which has been leased for the past four years to the same person, Diane Dadisko. During her rental this spring and summer, the flooring began to buckle. This became a safety hazard. This was reported to Home Depot manager, Vicky.

Vicky had the product reordered to replace the area with the issue. Home Depot measured, thereby inconveniencing Mrs. Dadisko after major surgery.

Finally, we were given a date for installation (after many phone calls to the installer, waiting for call-backs, and time); the installers arrived and did not have enough materials. They left. We went back and forth for numerous days. Home Depot ordered more materials. Another disruption when materials will be delivered for this Monday, 9/25/23.

The installation is slated (again) for this Friday, 9/29/23 at 730am.

This has resulted in four appointments for Mrs. Dadisko, so far, then two more.

She has decided not to renew her lease, due to all of this occurring during her rental period. Our real estate manager is charging us an additional fee of $450.00 for all the time due to this issue, which is conservative and kind on his part.

We were hoping to have the flooring pulled up, and then to hire another contractor to be assured the planking would be installed correctly. However, we are back to having another go at fixing this. The end result is unknown at this time.

Our condo manager has written us a letter regarding this matter. I am happy to forward it. He has warned us that Mrs. Dadisko is looking into options for reimbursement.

We are beyond disappointed in Home Depot, as we have spent a great deal at your stores and supported Home Depot for many years. In fact, Home Depot took care of our new carpeting for the staircase and upper level of the condo the year prior.

Desired outcome: Substantial refund in the form of a credit to our Visa, or a Home Depot credit, in addition to an apology and explanatiion.

Home Depot LifeProof flooring product # [protected]

We purchased 11 boxes of the Brooks Oak Lifeproof flooring, supposed to be scratch prrof and water proof, we purchased this with the last month August 2023 and laid the flooring last week... we moved our stove and refidgeratore and now have scratches on the floor. Both products the Whirlpool stove and fridge came from Home Depot as well. We spent alot of money and an whole lot of time and labor installing our floor to have such a low quality prodcut such as Lifeproof flooring. We purchased this product because of what it claims to be... scratch prrof and water proof. I am really surprised Home Depot would represent and support such a low quality product that is false advertising of a scratch proof product.

Desired outcome: I would like Homedepot to refund money or send someone to replace the flooring AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE AFTER ALL THE MONEY, TIME AND HARD WORK ME AND MY HUSBAND DID FOR A BAD REPRESENTATION OF A TERRIBLE PRODCUT.

I placed and order online

I placed and order online. Apparently someone bought it from the shelf before they set it aside to be delivered. Thus, my order was cancelled. Now the item is out of stock and I'm going to have to wait for it to be restocked. Problem is, their Halloween decorations sell so fast, I might miss my chance.

When I order online, I expect the item to be reserved immediately and for no one to be able to buy it off the shelf first. That's just not right!

At least my payment method got refunded.

Bought granite countertops through homedepot, Discover Marble & Granite was the sub contractor and did a HORRIBLE job. Homedepot offered nothing as Discover said the cabinets were not level however this was not the case confirmed with 6' level and laser no issues.but got help

Home Depot ARS rescue rooter; air conditioning replacement

April, 2023; bought and replaced new air conditioning through ARS

June 14; Inspected by City of St. Petersburg, FL and did not pass inspection.

June 23; ARS office sent a technician to fix some issues, however, a technician just checked air conditioning and left. He did not fix anything.

July 7: ARS office sent different technician and again, just checked air conditioning. Nothing's done.

August 2; ARS office sent another different technician and finally fixed. He took and showed me air conditioning picture where he fixed. He said he is going to send to office and city inspector, so case closed. However, this technician did not send pictures. I had to make an appointment with city inspector.

ARS office set up inspection appointment on September 6. I called city inspector at 8 am on September 6 what time he is coming. City inspector did not plan to come. Inspector said "I already told ARS office just send picture and case closed." September 6, inspector did not show up my house.

ISSUE

1, ARS office sent 3 different technicians, different day. I had to clock out my work and wait for them. Especially 6/14 and 6/23 were nothing's done. waste of my time.

2, Technician who came on 8/2, he promised me that send pictures to office and city. But he did not. very unprofessional and irresponsible.

3, ARS office made city inspection appointment on 9/6, however, inspector was not planning to come to my house. He said he is very busy and no time to stop by. just send/upload picture. lack of communication between ARS office and technician. I hired someone who stay my house to wait for inspector because I could not take off from work that day. WASTE OF MONEY!

Desired outcome: every time I took 2~3 hours off from work and lost money. I need money compensation.
