I went on July to do a oil change and they didn’t put the cap on the radiator later on my my car was getting smoke out of my car so I went back and they saw my radiator cap wasn’t in so they order one and put it back so I went to do chores and it again started to smoke out and then my car just couldn’t run so I left in a store and I headed to firestone the next day and they send the towing and they said that the radiator and the pulley and the belt wasn’t working I need my money back because of them my car was bad I had to pay so they fix the mistake they did I want a refund
Air compressor
I brought my Van to Firestone on July 17 2023 because my A/C was cutting off and on. They recommended a new Compressor. It has cut off again. I spent $700 plus for the Compressor plus 4 new tires from them at the time. Firestone recommended the Compressor after I reported what my problem was, Now Firestone is saying I have to pay for another diagnostic that is total BS! I brought my Vehicle in on July 17 2023 to check why my A/C would cut on and off. You recommended a I spent $700 plus for the Compressor. (And 4 new tires from Firestone at the time.) The store is saying I have to pay for another diagnostic which I feel is BS im having the same issue as I brought it in with.
Desired outcome: I need it diagnosed and fixed right. Same problem as when I took it in on July 17 2023.
What you're stating is what their so-called Triple Promise Guarantee is supposed to cover. "We promise that the services we perform will be fixed right the first time. If the automotive repair or service was performed improperly, then we will re-perform the service at no additional charge to you, during the established warranty period." Start by complaining to their regional manager. Firestone's main customer service line should be able to send he/she a message to contact you, so you're not dealing with people at the store level. The Store Mangers typically brush off any complaints. Good luck!
Failed oil change
I scheduled appointment with Firestone on September 7,2023 for a oil change. When I arrived the next morning there was no appointment booked so the man "squeezed me in". After picking up my car I noticed 2 hours later my car began to skip. As the day went on around 5:00pm my car stalled, cut off in middle of road and began to start smoking. I immediately called them and I drove my car back to them. The guy checked my oil and said "it looks like no oil in here" then he checked again and said "oh there it goes". I left my vehicle overnight and the next morning I received a call from the technician saying nothing was wrong with my car and that it would be $104 for diagnostics. I became livid. So as of now I plan on pursuing a lawyer.
Dishonestly and accountability, didn't fix car instead added to issue

On July 26th your employee backed up directly into my car because he was under the influence Of drugs and now I am getting the run around about getting my car fixed. The claim adjuster told me that I could reach out to him if needed however it has been everything but that. He also insisted that I was lying and in the wrong when in fact I have been extremely honest about everything. This adjuster clearly did look at the damage on my car because you clearly can see the damage is on the driver's side so for him to say I was at fault is definitely not correct. His accusations about me just passing through the parking lot definitely wrong. U can see that I was hit on the left side of the car because I was facing the direction of your office and your employee was high on drugs and he had no license on him. Which is why he avoided me and the officer when he got there. I should not had to walk in to the office to see what was taking so long. Because he disappeared
Desired outcome: I want my car fixed like he mentioned at the place of my choice and rental car provided and I definitely would like compensation for the inconvenience.
Over pricing on labor without warning
I took my car to have the spark plugs and coils replaced. I was quoted under $900 to have the job done. They found out that I needed a valve cover gasket and I approve that thinking it was going to be a couple of hundred dollars more. When I got back to Pick up the car and pay for it. The price was $2020. When I complain they knocked off $300 for the warranties I did not approve. They charged $763.20 for labor to remove and replace the gasket, they already charged $277.20 to remove and replace spark plugs. I know they are getting paid by the hour but how many hours does it take to change a valve cover gasket. Invoice number 158264. The job was done on August 9, 2023.
Desired outcome: $500 refund on my credit card

I scheduled an appointment for Auto Complete Care on my car this is a full inspection for my vehicle. I was told it would take at least 3 hours, therefore I dropped my vehicle off on July 6th evening for my July 7th appointment. When I dropped the vehicle off I told the technician my car was driving funny not like wanting to change gears, I asked him to check the transmission. On July 8th about 3pm I still had not heard from Firestone. I stopped in there after work about 4pm. I asked the clerk about my vehicle she had to go get the keys and paperwork. She comes back and says to me the tech said you need a new transmission and I need to take it to a transmission shop. I look over my inspection sheet, and my complete inspection had not been done. I asked her why not she goes and get the technician. And he says I can leave it there and the inspection could be done the next day. I say to him but my appointment was scheduled for the inspection why wasn't it done? He tried to explain from his notes in the computer. But they literally just did not do the job I scheduled for. He said to me you need a new transmission and need to take it to a transmission shop. I schedule an appointment with transmission shop, and they tell me I do not need a transmission. My transmission is perfectly fine, I need wheel bearings front and rear. I tried reaching out to the manager several times with no reply.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate a gift card for my wheel bearings cost.
Denied tire service
To whom it may concern.
I recommended you company to my son to take his tire in for service today 8-9-23 location . He showed up to the tire service station at 5:15pm and was refused service because they had to close at 6:00pm. All the service bays were open and empty. He simply said “not today” after he requested his tire to be looked at for repair. He was rude and very short.

I expected my son to receive professional care and got the complete opposite.
I will no longer go nor recommend your service to anyone if this is how you treat your customers and family. Thank you for your time.
Desired outcome: Professional care and not turn away customers with 45 min till closing.
Inspection sticker
On 07/31/2023, I took my 4Runner to Firestone on 9530 Broadway in Houston, Tx in for an inspection sticker, of course Firestone found something (P0171 code) . Then they tell I needed a diagnostic done ($115.00) to replace a O2 sensor Bank 1. I knew what needed to be replace insisted they needed a diagnostic that was performed to find code in the first place. Firestone uses a book to tell them how long a job will last so they stop working on your vehicle run the time to meet the time in their book. My O2 sensor is $198.74 and they will add at least 300.00 for labor for a 45 minute job. Firestone checks te customer’s credit limit and how much is available to suggest what they need on their vehicle.
Firestone is ripping off customer especially women not mention elderly customers. Firestone really add charges when it is a women.
Desired outcome: I want the diagnostic test and part of the labor refunded
Tire and wheel alignment
Went to get two front tires and a wheel alignment. Now my car shakes when I accelerate.
Told me that they were too busy to service me.
I went there at 7 am and had an appointment was told to leave my car there and pick it up later in the afternoon. All I wanted them to do was do a a diagnosis. It would take 7 hrs just to tell me what was wrong.
Test drove my car and didn’t report to me that they was a shake.
The guy who was at the desk had a snappy attitude as if him being low staff was my problem
