Firestone Complete Auto Care Inspection sticker

On 07/31/2023, I took my 4Runner to Firestone on 9530 Broadway in Houston, Tx in for an inspection sticker, of course Firestone found something (P0171 code) . Then they tell I needed a diagnostic done ($115.00) to replace a O2 sensor Bank 1. I knew what needed to be replace insisted they needed a diagnostic that was performed to find code in the first place. Firestone uses a book to tell them how long a job will last so they stop working on your vehicle run the time to meet the time in their book. My O2 sensor is $198.74 and they will add at least 300.00 for labor for a 45 minute job. Firestone checks te customer’s credit limit and how much is available to suggest what they need on their vehicle.

Firestone is ripping off customer especially women not mention elderly customers. Firestone really add charges when it is a women.

Desired outcome: I want the diagnostic test and part of the labor refunded

Firestone Complete Auto Care Tire and wheel alignment

Went to get two front tires and a wheel alignment. Now my car shakes when I accelerate.

Told me that they were too busy to service me.

I went there at 7 am and had an appointment was told to leave my car there and pick it up later in the afternoon. All I wanted them to do was do a a diagnosis. It would take 7 hrs just to tell me what was wrong.

Test drove my car and didn’t report to me that they was a shake.

The guy who was at the desk had a snappy attitude as if him being low staff was my problem

Firestone Complete Auto Care Oil change

I have been a loyal customer since 1990 and obtained my first Firestone credit card in 2002. All my auto info is in your system. I called for an oil change, tire rotation and front end alignment on July 11. The attendant asked if it was for the 2017 Dodge Caravan and I replied , yes. He gave me an appointment for10:30. The attendant never mentioned that the cost of an oil change had risen to astronomical $124.22! That's almost double what others charge! When I got your bill i was flabbergasted! He should have told me in advance that your price for an oil change was unaffordable! I could have gone elsewhere and saved at least $50.00.

Desired outcome: I HAVE A CARD ALLOWING ME FREE TIRE ROTATIONS AND FRONT END ALIGNMENTS FOR LIFE AT FIRESTONE. I WILL NEVER AGAIN BUY TIRES OR ANY OTHER SERVICES FROM FIRESTONE UNLESS I GET A $50.00 REBATE FROM YOU.

Firestone Complete Auto Care Oil pan cover and gasket credit during repair by technician

I took my car to Firestone in Hackensack, NJ to get my oil changed on 7/5/2023. I noticed that my oil was leaking out of my car so I took it back on 7/7/2023 and asked for my car to be checked because it never leaked before and that I didn't want the same technician to work on it again and he did, I was told it was fixed. I again noticed that it was still leaking so on the third visit on 7/24/2023 I was told due to leaking upon inspection John told me that the oil pan and gasket was cracked along with another issue that was not on my recommended service printout sheet. I asked why wasn't this noticed before, because my oil wasn't leaking prior to me bringing it in for service. John then proceeded to tell me that I would have to pay $200.00 to fix the damage that was caused by their technician. I never had a problem before after any oil change with them.

Desired outcome: I want them to take accountability and fix my car at no cost to me; since it was damaged/cracked during the oil change service that I came in for.

Firestone Complete Auto Care Fan clutch still not working

On May 19, 2022, I had a fan clutch replaced. I was told that the fan clutch had a lifetime warranty. I paid a total of 953.79 for all services and was told there were no diagnostic codes that showed up, so there was nothing else wrong with my vehicle. A couple of months later, my vehicle started overheating again. I contacted Firestone in Pineville, La and spoke with a lady, explaining to her that my vehicle had started overheating again. I took my vehicle in to get checked out. She then began talking about codes that were showing up, when there were no codes showing before I had my vehicle worked on by Firestone. She then told me to take it to Marler Ford. So I have paid almost $1000 for a part that has a lifetime warranty, but Firestone will not replace it.

Desired outcome: If the fan clutch is not going to be replaced, then I would like a refund for the cost of the part, which was $536.99

Firestone Complete Auto Care Wait time and had an appointment

I am appauled at the service and wait time we received at 2 Firestone locations. One was at a Firestone in Daphne AL and another one at Firestone in Mobile AL on 3105 Airport Road, Mobile AL. We made an appointment on 7/30/23 for an oil change for 7/31/23 at 2pm and Tom clerk at desk told us it would be 1 hr 1/2 wait. I went up to desk at 3:30pm I walked up to desk spoke to Roger and he said it would be brought in right away. We sat here it was 4pm and it was not brought in. I walked out to see if it was brought in and it was in the back of the store and I am very upset that you would allow this type of service to be done and I have been a customer for several years and never have I ever had to wait this long for an oil change. I am following up with a letter to the Nashville TN HQ office and phone call to submit a formal complaint because I am a customer who witnessed many people sitting for hours and not being acknowledged who were waiting longer than we were. I am a business owner and I am in marketing who will spread the word on this incident. Do not allow this to happen when people deserve better service.

Firestone Complete Auto Care Lifetime guarantee on tires.

My name is Rose Gomez; on 07/17/23 my husband and I went to Firestone at 2400 SW Military Dr. San Antonio, Tx. [protected] because we had purchased Lifetime Guarantee on all 4 tire back in 2013. We only use our 1997 Lexus for Doctor apps. We had noticed one of the tires was low on air so my husband put some air when we cane back home he noticed the tire was again low on air. We decided to take it back to Firestone where we had purchased Lifetime Guarantee on them. Went their and was told it was more than 10 years; so they couldn't accept this because it was over 10 years. I couldn't believe this...and upto now I can't accept this because this the hold point of buying Lifetime Guarantee that we paid extra to have. I am very very disappointed w/ Firestone because my husband and I have been CUSTOMERS LONGER THAN 2013 FOR ALL OUR VEHICLES. My Toyota 4 Runner is coming up with new tire we have to buy and of course we had every intention of purchasing them their at this Firestone...Please I want someone to here my side of my experience on what happened to us Senior Citizens. We you would see our records for how long we have been customers with Firestone. Still myhusband had to pay $18+ on the new tire he had to purchase...my question is "What about the other 3 tires' and other Warners we have on other parts; we still have to pay again. Firestone Complete Auto Care Tire installation

I took my Ford F350 king ranch in to have the tires installed. after installation we noticed the front rims were scratched. After calling the store, they agreed to replace the rims. We took it in and they replaced the rims. As soon as we got home, the tires were flat. Called the store and they agreed to replace the rims again. Two hours later the front tires are once again flat. Both sets of new rims that they installed were cracked. Now they’ve decided to buy brand new rims for installation. Maybe our fourth trip in will be a charm.

Firestone Complete Auto Care My service quote and swapped tires

I went to Firestone at 3075 Stockyard Rd Missoula MT 59808

To get my Brake pads changed, got a recommendation for The most expensive brake pads n rotor and they included high mileage oil change,

$1,212.22 cents

Wait for it, I already had my oil change the week prior at jiffy’s so why added the oil change? As well my brake pads don’t need to be the ceramic one and neither painted rotor change, wait for it, walking to my car piss off of the recommendation , got home

Notice my tires had been swapped now my new Michelin’s tires are gone I got half way used tires arrrg.

Desired outcome: Return my real tires , and just service me for regular brakes pads, at another location in Missoula, I will never return there ever again.

Firestone Complete Auto Care Service desk

Firestone, North Duke Street, Durham caused me to come back from my vacation early and wasted 2 hours of my time.

On Tuesday, July 11, before leaving for vacation I called the Firestone on Duke Street in Durham. The first thing I did was ask if they could do inspections. The woman who answered the phone said yes. I recognized her voice. I think this was the same woman who constantly uses the wrong number to call me when it's ready to pick up my car or to ask me something about the car. Then she would get mad that I didn't answer the phone. I would eventually call Firestone to see if my car was ready and she would tell me she had been calling. I've asked her to update my phone number but she refused. So on Tuesday, July 11 I called for an appointment and asked if Firestone could do an inspection on Friday, July 14. She said yes and I made a 1400 appointment. Then it occurred to me that if I could get an appointment a little later I would have more time to come back from my appointment. I called but this time I called the call center. The woman at the call center saqid she had to call the North Duke Street Firestone to be sure they could do an inspection before she made the appointment. I waited on hold while she called. The call center person got back on and said she was told they could do the appointment and she made the appointment. Today I arrived and was told the person doing the inspections was on vacation. I'm so upset. I came back early for this and I lost 2 hours because of this. One of my kids asked me last week why I keep going back to Firestone when I know what a bad company it is and I told him it was habit. The person at the desk said it wasn't Firestone's mistake. It was the mistake of the call center. I told him numerous times I had called Firestone earlier and was definitely told they had someone who could do an inspection and the call center person who called an hour after me was told the same thing. I've had it with Firestone over this woman who works the front desk at the North Duke St firestone in Durham and won't be coming back.

Firestone Complete Auto Care Should have one some credit applied for all the tires they kept saying I needed.

Yes I have been going to Firestone for years and very time I go there with and issued I always need new tires every single time and when I said something about gsve me a discount not much. Went there the last time for lil change and ended up paying five hundred dollars for another part. I got there at and didn’t get out of there till after five. Cause he said I had to said for a part so I waited and saw part come and still waiting over and hour so I go in and say something guy chuckles and says while I have to pill him away from another car cause when your part wasn’t here he stared another car fine but as soon as my part came in my should have been completed being I was there for hours. Guy was rude and person doing car was like it will get done when it gets done. Never ever will I go to a Firestone. Neither will my sister or friends so I call and complain they call me back and when I said look at my history with tires he said I will and never called me back. Ridiculous no respect

Firestone Complete Auto Care Pedro

Very rude, the guy’s name is Pedro, I went there for a flat tire, after my car was inside the shop for 1 hour, I asked the guy very politely if the tire is repairable? He was very aggressive in his response, saying “we are working on two cars before yours and we will not drop these cars for your car! Then he went on to suggest that I can take my car somewhere else. I am still in shock from such aggressive and arrogant behavior.

Firestone Complete Auto Care Service

Firestone has showe unethical character at the specified location. They asked for warranty money before repair and did not take accountability for the damage done after a failed rack and pinion install; essentially requesting that the return line hose had nothing to do with their error and insisting I pay. My car is no longer at Firestone but I am asking for the cost to repair the return line for service done at another facility.

Firestone Complete Auto Care tpms service care

Had a tpms sensor changed out and they for got to give my lugnut wheel key back. After speaking with the shop they refused to do anything due to the tech saying he put it back in the car. The car was only driven from shop to garage. After take to another shop that requires the wheels to be taken off that's when it was noticed it was missing. Now nothing is done to make it correct. I'm out of pocket for a new set of lugs and a key.

Firestone Complete Auto Care Breaks

Took my car in to have my breaks done and they only done just the front and not the back and now my rotors on both sides in the back are extremely chewed up and they are refusing to fix the problem without charging me to do the rest of the repair that should have be done in the first place and now I have to take my car to another repair shop here in Columbus to get the back breaks done and the rotors replaced and it was the store on 465 Morrison Rd in Gahanna, Ohio and the quality of service was extremely poor and should have been done right the first time last month Jerry White Subaru legacy 2010

Firestone Complete Auto Care All 4 Tire Replacement Gone Bad

Scheduled an appointment on June 22,2023 at 12:00pm Est and Firestone didn’t finish replacing my tires until 7:30pm EST. What is the point of scheduling an appointment if it’s not going be honored ? After receiving my car they misplaced my Tire caps on my tires. & blame me . Now I have to come back to the shop and waste more time. I have been waiting for almost a week to receive my replace my caps. This is ridiculous. Stay away from Firestone and go somewhere else.

Firestone Complete Auto Care Flat tire repair

On 12/26/22, I replaced brand new tires (2 back ones) at Firestone facility at "9009 Us-19 Port Richey, FL 34668". Within 6 months (6/21/23) - I had to replace exactly those 2 same tires "again completely" with a cost of another $560, including alignment - at another location "8706 Citrus Park Dr, Tampa, FL 33625". I was told by the new location, that alignment was NOT at all done at previous location which caused the tires tread to be destroyed completely on one side. NOBODY at that store, recommended or asked me to do an alignment at Port Richey store. And on top of that - they completely refused to cover that cost under warranty - and even tried blaming it on me at the new store? Completely disgusted and disappointed at the service.

Desired outcome: Please ESCALATE to the highest level. I would like that complete cost re-imbursed. I have all invoices, pictures and proof to showcase my statements for complaints.

Firestone Complete Auto Care Defective parts

I had work performed on December 31, 2022 at the Goodyear, AZ Firestone due to the family vehicle pulling aggressivley to the right. I was told half shaft and lower control arm bushing was cracked, needed repair. I proceeded to have work done. In February I went back to same location due to still having issues, was told alignment would fix issue, it did not. I went to Discount Tires in late March thinking something was wrong with tires, Discount Tires confirmed tires were fine. I went into Firestone in Surprise in April to complain again about issue and was told they performed an alignment and don't have time to further troubleshoot my repeat issue, and to bring the car back another time. I explained my family as almost been in accidents because of this ongoing issue since December 31st. Still no resolution given by Firestone. I took the car to Nissan due to failed customer service at Firestone. They confirmed parts Firestone put on were defective, paperwork and photos available to further support claim. Nissan performed work and fixed vehicle. I am seeking reimbursement for the defective parts to help restore my faith in Firestone. I also have the parts to give back to Firestone and further support my claim. As you can see level of customer service, lack of integrity in parts and my family's safety was put at risk by Firestone. As you can also see, I gave ample opportunity to have the issue rectified but Firestone failed to provide the level of service needed. I visited the Goodyear location where the Store Manager refused to come out and talk to me about the issue. I was also told I would receive a call from Area Manager Josh in 2 business days. It's been 7, still no phone call. I escalated to Firestone Corporate office incident # 740 659 70, was told I would receive a phone call within 2 business days, it's been 7 business days, still no phone call or resolution to disired settlement of refund.

Firestone Complete Auto Care Catalytic converter and muffler system,

I went to Firestone store# 028452 located at 139 PUTNAM BLD. GLASTONBURY. CT. 06033. I had work done to my 06 VW JETTA,. The check Engine light was on and I informed them that I emissions notice to comply with and the took the car in,. I waited four or five hours to find out from Dennis Freeman. He took me back to see the work and pointed out issues along the entire muffler system and he quoted me a bill of $3200 dollars,. I expressed my concerns about paying more for repairs then the value of the car,. He at that time suggested that I do the repairs and keep the car being it had low mile for this car,. He also promised me that he would be responsible to get the light off and the car would pass emissions. So elected to go forward with the repairs for the amount of the high cost of $3200 dollars,. which I had to use a credit card for that amount but I did so with expectations that I would be able get the car emissions complete and be in compliance with the State when I got the car back,.. Dennis also suggested that I drive the car for 100 miles and then let him know if the lite was oof and if not he would bring the car back in for a second inspection at no additional cost,. The light was for 10 miles surprisingly and I called him,. He also told me that I would be able to keep my part that were removed from the car,. So I returned on 6/2/23 on Friday and Dennis was not at work that day but Brandon took the car in and ended up switching the CAT and I I left with the light off,. Unfortunately the light stayed off for about 30 miles this time,. When I was able to get ahold of Dennis he told me that the CAT was not compatible to the VW and I would have to spend another $1700 dollars to get the light off,. Well I just can't afford this and would like to have a total REFUND of the initial cost because the problems were not rectified and FIRESTONE was not able to hold up to its part of the contract and Verbal promise to get the check engine light off for the $3200 dollars,. I hope we can come to a present agreement so that I can have my car fixed,. Thank you Sincerely,.

Firestone Complete Auto Care Credit card scam

I received an email saying I was approved for a credit card. I thought it was an offer and ignored it. I then received an email saying my credit card is in the mail, however I in no way signed up for a credit card. I'm concerned someone opened one in my name, but if that was the case why am I receiving emails about it? I also see no checks on my credit report, nor a new card on my credit report. This feels like a scam through and through
