FedEx offering services that don't exist then lie about it

Here is the (2nd) follow up email, below from Fed Ex.

The email below shows that I paid for 2-day delivery. You will also note that this shows a Saturday delivery by 4:30 PM. You state this service is not available to this location in MT. Someone is being dishonest.Then came an issue that is was delivered to Fed Ex and the label was printed at 4:50 PM. You state this is after the pick-up time. You quoted that time was 4:30 for express.

This Redmond facility was picked as the drop off point before I paid for the label. This location shows the last pick up time as 6:00 PM on the website. The envelope was delivered before the 4:30 deadline with a label already attached ( a copy attached here) and was printed at 3:13 PM. Ultimately, this makes no difference, since, as you state, there is no Saturday delivery to this location. The email below and the label attached shows Fed-EX clearly offered this option, collected payment for this option and then responded via email stating all of the above for a service that does not exist. This is the most germane part of this conversation. In my opinion, these actions not only violate consumer protection laws but would also appear to constitute fraud. It certainly is not professional and benefits no one but your company. These actions discount your customer as if they should be serving your company. I'm sorry I still believe in customer service and your companies responsibility to provide it.

You demanded professionalism, so do I... Lying to your customer and trying to absolve you, and your company of responsibility and assurances is far from professionalism. I sorry if your company now trains their personnel to threaten to hang up the phone in an effort to exercise their superiority, that is certainly professional.

I called customer service, and it appears that department no longer exists at Federal Express. Fred Smith built a company based on customer service. It was not a tag line, it was a way of life. Take heed George, this is not just you who has failed here. No one listened to my question. All of your customer service personnel kept saying was the package would be delivered today. That was not the question or concern. A few words of advice do not try to control the conversation when a customer has a complaint. SHUT UP and listen. When the customer is right, perhaps acknowledging the mistake and finding ways to resolve the issue will serve you and your company better. You have a responsibility to your company, your customer and yourself. People make mistakes. You fix them and move one.

BTW reading from a script is incredibly rude and certainly doe not lead the customer to believe that you are listening to them.

So lets review.
1) Your company sold me and charged me for a Saturday delivery which does not exist.
2) Your company charged me extra for a 2-day delivery, which had no way of being delivered.
3) Your website advertised a 6:00 PM last pick up which is false, and you denied same with never actually looking at it.
4) Your company created another label showing a later purchase time and drop off time and created another promised delivery date.
5) YOU denied all of #4, and now you have the evidence that proves YOU lied.
6) When calling you on this and telling you "do not tell me this crap" you threaten to hang up the phone if we cannot keep this professional. I did not know I was dealing with a company that lies to their customer and then tries to take control of the conversation by doing the same thing you accuse the customer of doing. MAJOR FAIL.
7) The two emails and attachment I sent you clearly shows that your company is incredibly unprofessional and is trying to deceive me. I fail to understand the issue these emails were sent to me from your company. A responsible thing to do was research your emails. Not try to bluff the customer that you act as if he was lying. I believe your company is engaging in deceptive and dishonest business practices. The alternative is you think you are right, and the customer is just too stupid to figure it out. Original shipping Label is attached.

FedEx Delivery worker complaint

I am the general manager of a sushi restaurant in Tulsa, OK and we have been recieving Fed Ex's services for multiple years. Today is the first complaint I have had to file about a delivery worker. I am 7 months pregnant and asked for him to drop a heavy box off in our walkin. He set it inches away from the walkin and said it "wasn't his job to put it inside" and that "I could file a complaint if I wanted" but he was not going to do it. So I am filing a complaint because I am astounded in the service I just received.

FedEx delivery

A door tag notice was left on my door on 6/5/19. I called the same day to say I'll be home at 6:00 pm for the rest of the week. According to Antony, a message was sent to the driver. The next day, the driver showed up before in early afternoon leaving a door tag notice again; I called and spoke to Kevin. I was told another message was sent to the driver. The next day, the driver showed up before six again.

On Saturday, I was told that I had to wait until Tuesday because the agent was not able to reach anyone. On Wednesday, the driver left a door tag notice at 3:47, I was home, Noone knock on the door. I called the agent told me that the driver was told to leave merchandise at the door. Today, I called the virtual assistant had no answer as to where the package was, I went on line, there was an indication that the package would be delivered on Saturday in the afternoon. I called to confirm, an agent answered and told me that the package will not be delivered on Saturday.

I getting mixed information. Please let me know what is going on. It seems that your customer agents are not informed or there is no communication between the agent and the center.

FedEx pick up service

I have scheduled pick up Mon-Fri at our office, we go days without anyone picking up mail, tons of packages have been delayed . I have made numerous phone calls to make sure pick up is set up and nothing . I have had to personally load up packages and drive them to the fed ex facility to be sure they are sent out to make sure our employees are receiving their computers .

FedEx date format change

I went to track and package and found it showed the shipment was delivered on 03/06/19, which really confused me see as it how just shipped. After looking at the details further I came to realized that FedEx has changed the date format from MM/DD/YY to DD/MM/YY. I feel this was an unnecessary and undesired change. When tracking shipments within the US everyone is used to the MM/DD/YY format. I hope that FedEx will change the format back immediately to avoid further confusion for their customers within the US. Thank you.

FedEx delivery

Stolen or vanished painting, original!

The second time fedex is unable to deliver a package in Switzerland. First, they should call and don't. As I call back, the person responsible is unfriendly, and uninformed.
Ia charged an additional amount of money despite the picture not available.

I only hope that you will pay for the original painting and all additional costs.

FedEx fedex reckless driver this morning

I was on the expressway this morning at North I-75 & I-166 connection. Heading to work, one of your truck driver almost ran me off the road with his trailer sweeping in my lane. He was speeding at the time. I viewed his tag # from my rear view mirror. (E77BH3)

He needs additional training to handle such huge truck during the morning hours. It was around 6:45am.

Transit in and out of FedEx smart post on 5/8/19 Southaven MS. And then fell off the face of the earth.
After several E-Mail and telephone calls I am still facing a stone wall. If you are not responsible and liable for my lost coins, then I ask you who is!
You have been paid by the me through the mint to deliver the coins to me.

FedEx overnight delivery

Package shipped 5/21, tracked 5/22, (Tracking #[protected])said to be delivered by 4:30pm 5/22. NO DELIVERY by 5:15pm. Tracked 5/23 said tried to deliver at 6:30 on 5/22, we're already closed! and it stated would be delivered by 4:30pm 5/23, called and said could not be delivered until 1pm to 3pm 5/23 Finally delivered at 3:10pm. My customer very upset. Local office said that's the best they could do, did not seem not to care. Day late seemed not to want to help.

FedEx unethical behavior

I purchased an electric fireplace from an ebay seller. Arrived a few days later on Tuesday May 7th. I kept packages on locked porch and a few days later I was going to bring them in and assemble it and noticed the packages stated the wrong color so I sent ebay seller a message to arrange for their return. It was free shipping and returns. Fed Ex picked up all 3 packages on Tuesday May 14th before 3pm. In my door I found a white piece of paper with a waxed side and a matte side. Looked like the waxed side could have had a label on it and was taken off. On the top of matte side were 3 areas that said status code and time. On the bottom 3 areas that said date on left side and 3 areas on right side that said Van #. None of any of these areas were filled either top or bottom. Completely blank of any info and no label . I wrote seller and he gave me tracking numbers for all 3 pkgs. Tried to track them online. Only says label created and there has been no movement. I paid $ 509 for this item. All I have to show for it is a blank label from Fed Ex. I have called Fed Ex. twice . Supposedly there will be an investigation. Seems like whichever driver picked up my return intended to keep the item by leaving no info to follow the items return. I cannot afford to lose $509 as I saved quite a while for this. This is totally unacceptible behavior. THe printing on the paper they put in the door is very light but I am sending a photo of it to you. FedEx lost suitcase two weeks ago.

Tracking Number: [protected] Fedex lost my suitcase on the 2nd of May. Since then FedEx has given no answer as to what happened. The original company I used to ship my luggage is called SendMyBag. I talked with SendMyBag a lot. In the end, they told me that they do not know what FedEx is doing to locate my bag. They told me that FedEx does not share information on the search process. I asked specific questions about this process, but unfortunately they could not give me any answer. What we know is that my bag was cleared at the customs in Jamaica, NYC on the first of May. After that, zero. No answer as to what happened after that. Even worse, 3 days ago I contacted FedEx myself. They first told me my bag was at customs and was gonna be delivered the following day, but it did not arrive. I called again. This time they denied having ever said my bag would be delivered and simply told me that it was lost and gone. No other info, nothing. It was a large suitcase, Samsonite.30 kilos. How can it just disappear like that? Fedex is refusing to talk to me. They have given no answer. I have contacted them through chat and phone. SMB is in contact with a manager called Chris. He also provides no answer or explanation as to what happened to my bag

FedEx driver

This is a corporate office and we rely on Fedex to pick up our packages.
The driver did not come and retreive our package. It was a crucial item that was being shipped next day, today delivery. The box was outside our door and the driver made a note that our office door was locked. He did not attemept to come to the door or he/she would have seen the box in front of the door.
This has happened numerous of times. Please advise this driver to do his/her job by going to the doors.

FedEx redirect a shipment

I think this board is FedEx way of letting upset customers vent and maybe make them feel better, as if maybe someone at FedEx will care enough to do something about it (we can only hope?). But, my package is still going to the wrong place and FedEx Customer Support terminated the chat without a resolution, after 40 minutes wasting my time with repeated entry fields and chad stalls and useless questions. I only wanted to redirect the delivery, which is clearly advertised as an option by FedEx, and I was willing to pay for that service, but got error after error on the website and no help at all from customer service - both virtual and human. No explanation other than sorry we cant do that. What? Of course you can - you advertise you will. Or at least tell me why you cant' or won't! And don't abruptly hang up the chat line without some closure. I have no idea where my package is going to end up since no one will be at the current delivery location to sign - perhaps it will end up with Tom Hanks on an island somewhere.
So - do I feel better now? Nope. Will I use UPS USPS or any other available service next time to handle my packages - probably. FedEx won't miss my few hundred $$ per year, but judging by this complaint board there are a lot of people that are in the same mindset as me. I assume they already have already concluded the benefit of satisfying a small customer like me, even if only by providing a good explanation, is not worth the cost or loss of business.
BTY FedEx - if you decide to help me out, please send me email or text or call and I'll be glad to pay for that package to be delivered to the right place. I will explain to my granddaughter why we need to wait a little longer for her graduation gift.

FedEx customer service and miss information

Here is my tracking number [protected], should have a record of at least 7 calls and transfers, to largely disrespectful, and albeit well trained non-customer focused individuals. Very skilled at telling the customer what you won't do, and uniforming structured with no interest in finding a way in where you can correct your screw ups and make things right with the customers. Poor excuse for such an enterprise.

But, perhaps someone can tell me how your online tracking system provides information (which no one appears to be accountable for) that is grossly in accurate and misleading! Case in point, my package was to be delivered on May 10. When I did not receive it, after a very unprofessional and protracted dialog with Ms Jocelyn, I told was it not be delivered until the 13th. (By the way she should be fired or put in a position were she doesn't interface with paying customers).
So she gives me this information, I then go to your tracking system to find out "tracking" is pending. Pending...no mention of the a May 13 delivery, simply from delivery by the end of the day on May 10 too pending?

So, another call, another transfer, and I get the tacking department. Here I am told the package is LOST, "has not been GPS tracked since May 8th...label must have fallen off". "So, you need to describe the contents so we can open up packages and find it"...what kind of nonsense is this...FedEx screws up and not your problem and the burden is on me to enable you to fix it. Wow!

It just gets better. The package is lost, if we can find it, the it will be declared deliverable on 16 May and you'll have to take that up with the shipper!

Such a deal for FedEx, you screw up, and take no accountability.

As frustrated as I can be, I go back to your tracking system online AND remarkably somehow in less than 30 minutes, (according to your on line tracking system) my package(s) are found.

Wait, what about no GPS tracking history since May 8th;...and no label...no detailed description of contents; how can it be, is it true, have my packages been found? Amazing...with no label, and no tracking scans since May 8th, and somehow in less than and hour with no ability to contact the "station" you find it.

I see this as a FedEx screw up from the get go.

So I asked, Customer service on my last call, "since I took a day off work, at my expense, waiting for a package you lost, which now has been found, can you get it to me tomorrow...well the answer I got was NOT JUST NO BUT HELL NO! It is a GROUND shipment. Would have thought, with everything FedEx put me through, you could at least try to make things right...

Got the answer..no way...not going to happen..screw you.

Must be nice to get paid for not delivering and having no sense of doing the right thing.

Financial reports indicate:

"FedEx won't achieve its operating income goals by fiscal 2020, the company said today"

"It's also going to start offering buyouts to eligible employees along with other cost-cutting measures"... strong suggestion start with Ms Jocelyn!

"FedEx Express' goal of achieving an operating income of $1.5 billion by fiscal 2020 won't be achieved, the company said in its earnings report on Tuesday."

"The Memphis, Tennessee-based company also dropped its 2019 earnings guidance to $15.50 to $16.60 per share. Previously, the company forecasted $17.20 to $17.80 a share. In after-hours trading, FedEx shares dropped by 6%"

It is easy to rationalize failures due to the economy and such...but failure comes from within... FedEx is not the Company it used to be. Being skilled at telling people what you won't do, with a screw you attitude, and no interest in doing what you should to make things right is why you have compromised your ability to be successful and profitable.

My wife's birthday and Mothers Day are one day apart, I order these items as gifts for her special days, and did it to insure delivery before her Birthday. You screwed up at my expense. I took a day off form work at my expense based upon bogus FedEx information, and you could careless!

FedEx semi truck driver

Truck and double trailer traveling West bound I-90 approx 2:30pm around Four Lakes exit 10 miles West of Spokane Wa. Passed truck legally in left lane and driver yelled at us and used his middle finger to gesture at us. Driver looked to be in his 50's with a long grey beard. Very unprofessional. This occured on 5/7/19. Not a good representation of your company.

FedEx fed ex delivery fraud

On April 25th I spoke with fed ex and asked that my scheduled delivery be held and delivered on April 30th as I was out of town due to ill mother who passed away the next day. I waited all day on the 30th and there was no delivery. I contacted the sender who arranged for the package to be picked up from the warehouse and delivered today may 3rd. I have been waiting all day and now see in the updates section of tracking that recipient {me} refused delivery a half hour ago. this simply is not true. I have been waiting and no one has been here. I believe that fed ex is fraudulently trying to collect a $100 delivery return fee rather than deliver my package. tracking number [protected]. I called customer service who did nothing more than tell me I refused...this is not true. sender should not be out $100 and I should not have to wait two days for nothing just so fed ex can collect $100. scam. hoping you can look into this and fire driver. I will not use fed ex ever and am asking all my wine be shipped via other companies.

FedEx trucks speeding through my community

Big Rigs/trucks speeding through my neighborhood on Elder Creek Road are blowing their horns at cars. When full/heavy or empty, they rattle and shake the ground/foundation of our homes, the windows rattle, or make a loud boom sound like a bomb going off. Our nerves are on edge because of all the noise. Please assist us with this matter as soon as possible. Thank you.

FedEx delivery

Yesterday at 11:01 I had a package delivered to my house that was thrown on my doorstep and due to the negligence of the delivery person he killed my new bubble tip anemone.
They are very delicate and temperature sensitive. My fiancé was home all day and the guy never knocked on the door now Fedex is given me the run around. I have emailed the video of the guy throwing the box on the porch and running. This was emailed to his manager. This bubble tip anemone is Worth $500. The pore this dead because of the delivery guys negligence.

FedEx dangerous driver

Ostwalt-Amity Road, Troutman, NC at approximately 5pm today I was on my way home from work going the 55 mph speed limit on 2 lane rd with NO traffic behind me. Your truck, number 313254 (number on top right of the truck), plate looks like 7F 3661 or 3861 makes a right turn in front of me causing me to have to brake very hard - totally unnecessary given no other traffic. I blew my horn at him. I believe he was trying to keep me from being able to get his info as at the next intersection where the light had just turned red for us, he barely slowed down, and made a right turn again, going through the now very red light, this time making the car with the right away have to slam on their brakes to avoid hitting him. I believe he may have seen in his side view mirror that I had my camera out and didn't want to be stuck at that intersection with me. This type of unnecessary, unprofessional, reckless driving makes FedEx look bad. Good ammunition though for anyone wanting to sue! Getting myself a dashcam just for this kind of stupid driver.

FedEx fedex moonachie, nj location

Hello. I am not writing this to get anyone fired. I am writing this because I have worked in customer service jobs in the past and know when someone is just having a bad day or just horrible at customer care.

Upon walking in there was no one behind the counter. There are no signs to direct you where to wait possibly in a line. I stood there confused until someone came from the back. No friendly greeting just a direct what do you need. I said I was there to pick up a package for my husband but did not have the slip. Before I could even continue that I had the tracking number via email, I was being brutally questioned rhetorically about how is she supposed to find my package without a code?

She even took a man behind me in the middle of me trying to explain myself. Nothing but rude and nasty service at this location. For starters, the packaged being delivered needs a signature. Okay that's fine but when he left the slip he didn't check off that it was going to be attempted to be delivered again it said it would have to be picked up. When my husband went, the service was just as awful and said that it was attempted to be delivered another 3 times and we have until Friday to get it before they send it back. Like this is all our fault for not being home.

This isn't just a one day incident. Take a look at the awful reviews of this location on YELP. This worker was nothing but rude and unhelpful. I simply turned around and left because no one should have to deal with a nasty human like that. Whenever I go to a UPS store, the employees are always kind and there to help. Maybe you need to take some tips from them in customer service.
