FedEx Says attempted delivery, but customer not home - customer controls access, but home all day!

I was expecting two packages today, and at 7:17 and 7:18 PM there was a delay registered on the tracking page, stating the delivery driver attempted delivery but customer wasn't home and that customer controlled access.

NOTHING BUT LIES.

Another FedEx shipment was delivered to my non-gate-controlled house earlier in the day...Amazon also got through just fine today as well. I work from home - I'VE WORKED FROM HOME FOR 15 YEARS - and I was home all day to receive that package. No door tag, nothing. Unbelieveable.

I called customer service but they were no help (and really what could they do, the driver seems to have just ran out of time and then said "whoops customer wasn't home and I couldn't get access"). You know, at another home of mine in Dallas, we went through the same BS with Amazon and their contractor delivery people. We eventually went to the media and once it made the news, suddenly things changed. Amazon was using the same exact lie - "whoops customer not home!".

This is fraud, it is a despicable lie, and I refuse to let this go any time soon. I plan on canvassing my neighbors to see if they've had the same experiences and will take this to the press and other authorities. If they hadn't lied about it, I wouldn't be this angry.

Oh, and now I'm out equipment for work tomorrow because the delivery driver ran out of time...AND LIED ABOUT IT.

Desired outcome: I want my package delivered ASAP and tell the delivery drivers to stop lying when they run out of time to deliver packages.

FedEx complaint on fed ex

called in for package employee try to make sure i don't receive my package rude and disrespectful his name i Wass told Daniel needs to be fired for being inappropriate talking gay getting angry and saying i can not have my package that there were to many attempts being made and only two was here to pick up package sounds like FedEx wants to deliver package when I'm not home i need FedEx sued employees fired and my package to be sent in the mail being that the immaturity of these employees is ridicules and not allright.

Desired outcome: package delivered inthe mail or left with security my money back and daniel fired for false info saying i made to many attemps not true my package was delayed twice

FedEx Improper deliveries costing other companies money

On two separate occasions over a 1.5 week period I had packages stolen from outside my apartment building because the delivery driver decided to leave the packages outside vs following very clear delivery instructions to set packages inside a secured door.

When I contacted FedEx they informed me they'd speak to the distribution center and the driver regarding this, only to have three more package deliveries left outside.

I was unable to track my claims through their system, and then it came up as denied because it was delivered properly- in which it was not.

Desired outcome: Fedex delivery drivers to please deliver as per delivery instructions so we don't get packages stolen and other business don't lose money

FedEx FedX city truck

I have been complaining about Fed X turning around in my painted driveway for years. They even have the nerve to turn around in my drive when they deliver to someone else. We have a great neighborhood and do not need the traffic in our drives. There are side streets to turn around, close everywhere. I am tired of it and understand the policy is for the trucks not to turn around in a residential driveway. I live at 3363 Se East Snow Rd, Port Saint Lucie, Fl. I see a fed X truck turn around in a driveway every day. It is getting out of control. I hope this can be resolved, because I will go to corporate and it will stop.

Desired outcome: Stop using driveways as turn arounds immediately. I will take pictures in the future and get the neighborhood to take them also.I want action taken immediately.

FedEx Delivery [protected]

I had a package that was supposed to deliver yesterday, I was at home and heard the truck pull up and I was standing at the front door. The driver walked to the back of the truck, picked up a package (i am assuming it was mine), walked to the front of the truck, looked out the door, made eye contact with me, put the package back in the back of the truck and drove off. I refreshed the app and it said I refused the delivery , which was clearly not true. After 30 minutes on the phone I was told it would be redelivered today. Just checked the status and it is on its way back to New York! Driver too lazy to walk 50 feet to hand me my package so he sent it 2,000 miles back to the seller.

Desired outcome: Reroute my package ASAP!!!

FedEx Delivery

Second time this month fedex delivered here. the driver is leaving the packages out by the corn crib as you come into the driveway. Leaving the packages exposed to the weather and road. Last week he left two boxes out in the rain and snow. I called Fedex customer service and complained Didn't do any good He left this delivery today in the same place. If I go out to talk he just hurries off.

FedEx Fed-ex delivery

The fed ex driver in my area. Will not put my packages near my door . They alway set them near the roadway, for them to be easily stolen. When I do get my packages they’re always ripped, torn open and smashed. It’s ridiculous that they can’t walk 10 steps and put my packages where they are supposed to go! They sit them beside a creek bed. And I’m the rain.

FedEx Appointment only delivery service but no appointments made

We are frequent purchasers of art that is delivered by FedEx. The seller sends the art specified as "by appointment only" delivery with "adult signature" required. The art is very expensive and non-replaceable. Here's my complaint. FedEx does not call to make appointments. They do not notify us in any way that a delivery is coming at a specific time on a specific day. When they deliver, they do not even knock on the door or ring the doorbell - they just drop off the art on the front porch leaving it visible from the street and subject to theft, storms or other maladies. We have no idea who is signing as the adult (shouldn't that be the recipient?) but suspect the driver is doing this. Is he/she signing our name (forgery) or signing his/her own name? Only after delivery do we get an email saying a package has been delivered.

We have complained multiple times to FedEx about no appointments and not getting our signature.

We have come home from extended international travel (at least twice) to find boxes blocking our front door. When we get a message that art has been delivered but we are not home, we ask them to pick it up and make an appointment for delivery when we are home. Despite this, we are not aware of a single time when FedEx returned to pick up art. In fact, they have delivered additional art placing it on top of the other art - even knowing no one is home.

Someone at FedEx actually writes an appointment time on the box. But no one notifies us. No one calls us or even checks if we are in town. It takes two parties, the delivery service and the recipient, to make an appointment. We are not getting that service even though the seller is paying for it.

Desired outcome: I want FedEx to provide strong oversight/and confirmation that phone calls are made to set up appointments for deliveries and to require our signature.

I guess it depends in the area you live. Where I am at in Florida, FedEx is overly attentive in delivering our art works that have been purchased. They call every day until we call them back with a confirmed delivery time that is acceptable to us. And not only do we have to sign for the delivery, we have to show ID as well. I am very happy with FedEX, maybe a little overkill to deliver something in a secure environment, but better safe than sorry!

FedEx Delivery of a package

On 3/27/23 a package was delivered to my house @ 1036 hours plis or minus 5 minutes, it was slightly raining. The package was left in front of my garage exposed to the elements and one end of the package was torn open where the initial tape secured it. Observation of the package looked like the package had been cut as this was some thick clear tape and dubble secured. Any way, the package was put in front of my garage..crazy.. as I have a breeze way leading to ly front door which provides shelter from the elements before you get to my front door,@ 10 feet. I also have a ring door bell that was never accessed by the delivery employee and it is common knowledge how a door bell works. If that was too tough , alternative means would require just a knock of a couple of times. This is what call cua or put mildly, cover your [censored], I called in the complaint for what it’s worth. FedEx needs to teach their people old school courtesy..

Desired outcome: Up grade your how to deliver packages program , get rid of slackers.

FedEx Lost packages & non-existent customer service

March 23, 2023 I schedule a pickup for the next day. The next day a FedEx driver picks up my 2 identical boxes. Today(March 27th) one of my boxes is delivered but online it shows the other box was never picked up. I call.

Let's start with the fact that the FedEx automated system does not work properly. Next, you have to understand that under no circumstances does anyone at FedEx want to talk to you. Then, when you get a supposed customer service rep on the phone they cannot help you and do not know how to do their job...you cannot talk to a manager, they cannot file a claim, they cannot contact facilities that are messing up deliveries and they cannot locate your package or start the process to do so. What they can do is pretend they cannot here you, put you on forever hold, hang up on you and NOT help.

At this time I KNOW FedEx does not care about their customers and it appears as if they have zero management!

What they should be doing is locating the box they lost and delivering it!

Desired outcome: I want the stolen box returned to the truck and delivered. I would like them to give a crap and train their employees properly.....not gonna hold my breath.

FedEx Unsatisfactory delivery service

I have been waiting for a delivery for over a week now. Messages are, "in transit; delivery by 8:00 pm, requires signature or whatever excuse they can come up with. When i insist on human interaction from automated system I get a roundabout answer with unsatisfactory results. I am now ready to contact corporate for resolution or explanation of poor service.

FedEx FedEx Ground - Superior, Wisconsin facility

Similar to so many of the complaints listed in this site, FedEx Ground has become an absolute joke of a carrier. I have had so many packages delayed - at least two of the over 3 weeks. Every day, it is out for delivery, then at end of day - returned to facility. They must live in a bubble as they have listed weather delays so many times on perfectly sunny days. Truth is, they try to hide their dysfunctional and useless service, and falsify their station statistics by claiming to send packages out, when in fact, they've never taken them off their trailers. I have told most vendors that I am discontinuing purchases from them - Chewy, Wine Insiders, etc. - until they find a different carrier to deliver their product. I won't sit around the house, day after day, for a signature, when they are simply lying about delivering it that day anyway. I asked for an address to send a formal complaint via USPS (They seem to make it through everyday, as well as UPS and FedEX Air when they have something to deliver), and I got the letter back 3 weeks later, unopened, and marked as no such address. FedEx better come to the realization that their once, well-deserved reputation is being destroyed by these yahoos - especially that group handling ground out of the Superior, Wisc. facility - they shouldn't be allowed to handle dog crap! One package - > 3 weeks delayed, was finally delivered late in the evening, the driver dropped the crate off the back of the truck 3' onto frozen ground. with my wife was standing in the doorway, then drove off without saying a word. Cracked the door on the cabinet that was inside. Better rethink your Ground delivery business plan, FedEX, or get out of it completely - you're an embarrassment!

FedEx left my package outside our apartment complex, Fed Ex driver

the driver left my package outside our complex and someone brought me my package from outside. there was 2 other boxes someone else had too. my other package someone else took it so i never got it, it was a gift for someone. One of the times it happened was on March 25, 2023. I want to recieve my packages at my door, not some where that someone can steal them or miss place them. Don't be lazy. Bring me my package to my door, I can't say that enough.

Desired outcome: it to change, I want to receive what I bought.

FedEx Fedex delivery service

Fedex used to be a good service. But not any more. I have packages shipped to me. I stay home waiting for the delivery that needs a signature. It starts off “expected by 1:00pm”. That changes throughout the day and ends up with “by the end of the day”. At 8:00pm, the status of the package changes to “delayed”. And has been returned to the local fedex facility. So, what’s going on? Are they too lazy to finish their route? Now I have to wait all day again tomorrow. This is unacceptable!

Desired outcome: When this happens give me an option to pick it up somewhere. Don’t just take it back to Fedex & make me wait another 24hrs!

FedEx Unprofessional poor delivery service

we have been receiving fedex deliveries at our house for many years and it was always great service. as of the past month, there must be a new delivery driver for our area? our house is located up a hilly driveway aprrox. 200 ft. from the main road. we always make sure that it is 100% clear of snow, ice & debris. our packages for the years past were always professionally delivered to our front door or garage area. whoever is the new route driver for our area is lazy. they have decided to just scan the packages way down at the main road and leave them on the roadside. this is not acceptable service. we are upset with this poor service. i took photos of yesterdays poor delivery, 3 boxes, if you would care to see what i am talking about? the delivery drivers that deliver to our town of winona, mn 55987 are out of the la crosse, wi distribution center. please fix this soon asit is getting old very quickly. thank you

Desired outcome: please contact management of the la crosse, wi distribution center and make them aware of this problem. also to correct the poor service actions of their driver.

FedEx FedEx driver hit our mailbox

We filed a claim as soon as it happened. The FedEx driver did not tell us, just delivered the package. Our neighbors saw it and told us immediately. They did not give us a claim number nor did they tell us that we needed our tracking number on that package. We are trying to follow up and because we do not have the tracking number they are claiming they cannot find the claim that we filed.

Desired outcome: Our mailbox needs to be fixed and they are responsible.

FedEx Poor accountability

On Friday I received an email stating my packages were received at the local delivery hub and out for delivery. They never were delivered. Saturday and Monday the tracker said they were at the local delivery hub, but were delayed with no delivery date given. Today, Tuesday, I called customer service and asked if I could pick them up and they said no. The agent, upon further investigation, said that the packages never left for delivery and she could start an inquiry. I received an email saying that an inquiry was initiated and they would get back to me by Friday. I'm a small business and this delay has already cost me more than $1000 and by Friday it could be well more than $5000.

FedEx FedEx reporting delivery attempted when it was not attempted

It happened again today: FedEx reports that they attempted delivery to my address when they did not attempt delivery. This is maybe the 3rd or 4th time this has happened in the last year.

FedEx will state they attempted delivery but because person was not home or business was closed they could not deliver. I was standing by to receive package with inner door open so I could see out the storm door. No delivery attempt was ever made. Also, Ring doorbell shows no attempted deliveries took place. Also, no sticker was left on door by FedEx.

FedEx is clearly lying about attempting delivery. They should be honest and state in the record that they did not make a delivery attempt.

Desired outcome: Fraud charges should be brought against the company by government.

FedEx Package delivery

I get regular monthly deliveries from a company that uses FEDX (or USPS only.)
For the last 6+ months the FEDEX delivery person has ^ignored^ delivery instructions. The address label for my Acct specifically states: to put all boxes on our covered front porch w/ gate (3'h)!
However, they have been left on the driveway and in the rain. I am grateful the boxes have not been stolen since a bus stop is in front of my home,".

Desired outcome: Follow instructions on Address Label & put where specified.
