Fashion Nova My Disappointing Experience with Fashion Nova: Issues with Orders, Discounts, and Returns

I recently made my first order on Fashion Nova's website, and let me tell you, it was a rollercoaster of an experience. My daughter had been raving about their products so I decided to give it a go - I spent over $300 CAD on my initial order. However, just picking out what I wanted was a hassle as most of it was already sold out, so I spent hours deciding on my final selections.

A few days after placing my order, I wanted to make another purchase as some of the items I wanted were now back in stock. However, when trying to apply my 30% off V-Day discount, the website wouldn't let me. I also experienced some issues with the site, and ended up taking three screenshots as reference. I sent an email straight away, complete with the pictures attached, asking for confirmation on how many payments went through, as well as expressing my difficulties using their website. I requested that they cancel the order and that I would reselect the items.

As a business owner myself, I decided to follow up on the issue the following morning. However, I couldn't seem to find a phone number to actually speak to a customer representative, which I found quite unprofessional. Fashion Nova eventually got back to me a few days later via email, saying they would reimburse me and cancel the order that caused the issue. But, to my surprise, they cancelled my initial order instead!

The first order, that I had spent hours selecting, proofreading and even managed to apply a generous discount to, was cancelled without my consent. I was not happy about this and decided to send them another email expressing my dissatisfaction and requesting that they please send the initial order and cancel the one that caused the problem.

They responded saying that once an order is placed, it cannot be cancelled. But how is that statement possible when they had just cancelled my initial order after it had already been paid for in full? Eventually, Fashion Nova stated they would ship me another order, but I was already worried about potential sizing issues as I knew half the items might not fit correctly. Unfortunately, my fears ended up coming true as I recently received an email from them stating my items were being returned and refunded due to an "incorrect address." Strange, as my address has been the same for the past decade, and I had already provided it when I sent the pictures to prove my earlier issue.

Overall, I am extremely unhappy with my experience with Fashion Nova. It took me a month to receive my order, and now I'm being refunded due to an issue that was out of my control. To make matters worse, I read other reviews online that suggest customers are being ripped off with their returns as well. It's disappointing to see a company with such a great web presence and online persona turn out to be less than reliable. I noticed that there are disputes about their practices on Amazon as well, and I think it's important that their behavior is reported. It's worth noting that their "Headquarters" are only listed as "Downtown LA," which raises questions about where they're actually operating from. Maybe it's just run out of a home office by a couple of women who import clothes directly from the supplier to the customer's home? Who knows. But I would advise caution to anyone considering shopping with them.

Fashion Nova Fashion Nova Review: Cute Clothes with Issues

The clothes at Fashion Nova are pretty and some so-called "celebrities" wear them, but unfortunately, there are issues that come with shopping on this site.

Firstly, the inventory management at Fashion Nova leaves something to be desired. You might add an item to your cart, complete your purchase, and then when the package finally arrives, you'll find an item missing. Although they offer an apology and a discount on further merchandise for their mistake, this happens far too often if proper management of inventory was in place.

Secondly, Fashion Nova only offers store credit, which can be frustrating as they don't offer refunds or a choice between a refund and store credit. What's worse is that their store can be sold out of everything. This shows that the company is cutting costs in areas such as inventory management, leading to fewer products available to the customer.

Furthermore, the clothes on Fashion Nova aren't made with the utmost quality. There isn't much innovation in their fashion; rather, their clothing consists of form-fitting, basic print dresses and top/bottom combos appropriate for nightclubs, pool parties with Stevie J, Greek picnics, barbeques, and the 4th Sunday at church.

Another issue is their inconsistent sizing. Customers will find that Fashion Nova's clothing is too small despite their recent creation of a Plus size line. Their sizes generally run extra smedium with their 1X fitting size 10, 2X fitting size 12, and 3X possibly fitting a size 14.

Lastly, although Fashion Nova is known for having cute and affordable clothing, their clothes are often overpriced compared to other websites.

Overall, although Fashion Nova has cute clothes, the company needs improvement in areas such as inventory management, store credit policy and consistent sizing, leaving room for other sites such as tobi.com or GSLovesme.com to offer a better shopping experience.

Fashion Nova Fashion Nova: Buyer Beware - Low-Quality Clothing and Troubling Return Policies

I recently stumbled upon Fashion Nova's website while searching for a new pair of jeans. At first glance, I was impressed with the photos of the models on the site. They looked like they were computer-generated 3D models, but they were real women! I was intrigued and decided to add some items to my cart. However, before completing my purchase, I decided to read their policies more closely.

As someone who has had bad experiences buying from Chinese-based websites, I was hesitant to trust Fashion Nova. After thoroughly reading their return policy, I found some troubling issues. Firstly, the store only offers store credit as a refund, and not a full refund. Secondly, they can reject your returns if you return too much. Thirdly, they use hashtags in their return policy, which does not make them look very professional. Lastly, if you return an item after 30 days, you have to pay a 50% restocking fee.

Another problem that I encountered was that if an item is out of stock after you have placed an order, you are only given store credit. It's unfair to penalize the customer for something beyond their control. Additionally, Fashion Nova has a so-called "easy return policy" which is not easy at all. You have to pay for the cost of shipping back and you don't get your real money back.

Upon further research, I discovered that Fashion Nova sources their clothes from wholesalers, which can be found online or even on eBay. They merely distribute the items, but for a very low price. This explains why they are always out of stock and why you are often stuck with low-quality clothing.

I, for one, am not willing to spend my hard-earned money on low-quality clothing that will likely fall apart after a few wears. I almost fell for their gimmicky shiny things, but I'm glad I read their policies and reviews before making a purchase. Some of the positive reviews seem fake, and it's essential to do your research before buying anything from this site.

In conclusion, Fashion Nova may be a good choice if you don't mind spending money on cheap clothing that won't last very long, and you're willing to accept store credit as a refund. However, if you're skeptical or care about the quality of your clothes, it's best to avoid this site altogether.

Fashion Nova Fashion Nova: Disappointing Customer Service, No Refunds, and Expensive Shipping on Returns

I have been a loyal shopper with Fashion Nova for more than a year now and I was always satisfied with my purchases until recently. Thus, I felt a need to share my honest feedback with others who might want to shop with them.

One thing that could be a major turn off for some shoppers is their no refund policy. Instead of getting your money back, you'll receive a store credit which is called a "GIFT card" by the company. Although this policy may sound disappointing, it never bothered me as I loved all my purchases, and also looked forward to my store credits for future shopping sprees.

What dissatisfied me more was that unlike other retailers, Fashion Nova does not offer free shipping on returns. In fact, each time I returned an item, I had to pay a whopping $12.90 for shipping! However, I let that slide because I didn't return items frequently.

But what bothers me most is their poor customer service. I read reviews and stories online about it, but I personally ignored them until it happened to me. Recently, I made two returns to Fashion Nova, and while one was quickly processed, the other was not. After waiting for a week, I reached out to their customer service about my missing gift card and got a delayed response after three days. When I finally got a reply, "Dennis" asked me to send more information and a photo of my return receipt. Although I complied with his request and sent everything, no one bothered to respond to my mail. It has already been two weeks now, and I have not heard back from them nor received a refund on my missing gift card.

So far, I have lost a total of $74.49, including the order total and shipping fees, with no items, no refund, and no gift card. No doubt, my experience with Fashion Nova has dented my previous confidence in them. The company prices their items too high, and even while acknowledging this, they offer only a regular 30% discount (SAVE30). At this point, it's just hard to recommend them to anyone.

In conclusion, I believe that the lack of compassion and customer service rendered by Fashion Nova is unacceptable, considering the long standing issues of dishonesty and poor customer service from thousands of their reported customers. Therefore, it's a big NO for me when it comes to Fashion Nova. P.S. I always use PayPal when checking out because it offers protection against fraudulent charges.

Fashion Nova Customers rights to cancel

I placed an order with this company on Tuesday night. I accidentally placed the same order twice before realizing that I wouldn’t receive the items on time since I would be at that location for just the weekend. Just a few minutes after placing the order, I contacted the company asking them to cancel. They refuse to do it. They told me that the order has already shipped. How can the order can already be shipped after a few minutes? They’re so unethical! The person I was talking to via email keeps sending me those canned messages asking me to wait for the packages then pay to return them then get a credit. How would I do that if I’m only there over the weekend? Fly back to get the merchandise then return?! That’s ludicrous! They should be banned from doing business in the USA.

Fashion Nova Stop canceling my orders please!!!

I’m graduating Friday 16 in Spain. I’m from Puerto Rico so my card it’s from PR. I ordered 3 times! And all of them were canceled. Please I need this dress ASAP. I even try a family address in the US so when she visited me she could bring the dress with her. But her address was canceled too. I need help, I swear I’m desperate. I even pay for express shipping on all orders.

Fashion Nova Swimwear

My package was supposedly delivered on 6/2/2023 fashion. Nova keeps giving me the runaround and telling me to contact ontrac because they can’t do anything about my package being marked as delivered but it was not delivered the day of I was home all day and even gave it up to 72 hours to keep an eye out for my package. I contacted customer support and they said there was nothing that I can do or they can’t cover lost or stolen packages and that I should contact ontrac I contacted ontrac end. It was an endless cycle of both parties telling me to contact each other when I contacted our contract they told me the same thing that supposedly the package was delivered, but they couldn’t even offer me a picture of the delivery which they claim they should’ve been able to do. Ontrack has history of marking packages delivered and not actually delivering them. In my honest opinion this is not my responsibility to be keeping an eye out. I even was nice enough to say OK that’s OK. Can you just tell me when it actually is delivered and they cannot even provide that I already waited 18 days for the package alone when it was supposed to take 3 to 7 business days, which is obviously false advertisement on Fashion Nova end they are refusing a refund or even replacing my items for my order saying that they’re not held accountable for my order but the thing is my order was never delivered to begin with so I don’t get how they are saying that I was even trying to work with ontrac because I know they still have my package and ask them if they could at least send it to an updated address that has a gated community so I don’t have to be standing around waiting for my package for the next few weeks I was in a live chat, and the person just ended the chat no help at all and also a Fashion Nova’s customer care center is no help telling me that they don’t take responsibility for this into contact ontrac

Fashion Nova Delivery

Hi. Around 2-3 weeks ago I ordered 3 dresses and they should have been here june 2. I have a problem cause i auto fill my information with instagram info and now I cant remember anything. Fashion Nova Refund

On may 15th i order from Fashion Nova using my Malawian debit card , however they canceled my order because of different billing addresses bla bla bla since the order was to be delivered in USA. I got agitated as to why they canceled without my consent and stated that they will refund me in 2-5 business days. It's been a whole 10 business days now and more but i still don't see my refund. I feel robbed by fashion nova, this was my first time buying from them and I'm never making a mistake of ever buying from nova again, neither will anyone close to me.

Fashion Nova Undelivered packages

[protected] ON. Placed an order on May 14 In amount of $132.05. The company they are using for shipping is laser ship. I received a message on may 24, saying my packages were delivered. I knew that was not the case, as they delivered it after hours. They was supposed to deliver it at my local post office. The photo of the "delivery" is on the ground outside of some brown porch, not POST OFFICE. I have already waited 72 hours for my package and now i'm being told there's nothing they can do. The emails are all computer automated, and there is no number to call. The delivery company is also state “Thank you for alerting us to this situation and we sincerely apologize for this experience. Unfortunately, we were not able to locate this package during our investigation and you will need to contact your seller to obtain further assistance. As their direct customer, they will have the necessary information available to provide you with your next steps.”

I have spent thousands of dollars with this company in the past, and this is insane that they won't do a single thing but take your money and ignore you. They say they are not responsible for packages that are stolen or picked up by someone else, however the awful delivery company they decided to use delivered it to the wrong place... And somehow that's my fault? This needs to be fixed immediately. I’m contacting everyone until I get proper answers

Fashion Nova Faulty items from fashion nova

I have tried to report the two faulty items in my order since the day they were delivered, however an error keeps coming up when I try to submit it. I have also sent messages through instagram which have not been read despite somebody clearly posting on a daily basis! Fashion nova states that faulty items should be reported in a certain time frame, but how is this possible when the report page is not working and nobody is bothering to get back to me?!?

Desired outcome: A response would be nice followed by a solution

Fashion Nova Refund

I ordered on fashion nova on may 15th using a visa debit card. Got a confirmation email with my order number. Only to get another email of order cancelation by fashion nova stating that my billing address provided when ordering is different from the one provided to my financial institution. It's been 5days+ now and i still haven't gotten my refund yet. Fashion nova please i want my $144.

Fashion Nova Orders, cancellations and returns

please be advised that i am not new to online shopping and i must say Fashion Nova has to be the WORSE EVER! i have dealt with. You have no live agent. your returns you charge me shipping for and then give a gift card to use at your store only!? how dare you!? i was forced to replace an order since i had a credit i had to use (unfortunately) and then it wasn't even applied! after i get this resolved i will not deal with fashion nova again.

Fashion Nova A baggy jeans

Hi I bought a jeans in 3x I refunded it because it was too big and I bought another one in 2x but I never got a confirmation number and the money was deducted. Fashion Nova Fashion nova

This is so annoying, this was my first time ordering a bunch of clothes from them but they cancelled my order first, because of billing information blabla and that’s fine. I ordered again with my friend’s card that she has used before to order from them,they sent me an email that the order was confirmed and all,tell me why fast forward hours in the app it says that the order is cancelled but I never received any cancellation email like before. I am so confused and annoyed and VERY disappointed because I was excited

Fashion Nova Delivery

05-07-2023 I order mother day gifts on Fashion nova Website and I paid for 2 day shipment! Wednesday the 10th and I notice when I track my packages is being delivered by a company GLS so I check the tracking and my packages hasn’t arrived so I contact GLS which is the worst mess I’ve heard of they claim my address was wrong when I been order from this company Fashion Nova but GLS said it’s fashion nova fault! I told GLS can they correct the address when I say bad customer service! They agreed to fix it why Today .05/15/1023 my address is wrong and now they have to contact fashionNova for the address change then u can’t talk to a live person

Fashion Nova Delivery is a sham

I ordered 2 tees and it showed delivered 2 days ago but nothing at my door. I filed a dispute and was told to allow 2 days (today). I check back and I received an email saying because the deliverer proved they delivered it with a pick I can’t get a refund or replacement. The picture is a picture of the bottom of a random door with a garden next to it! No apartment number just the ground. I live upstairs! So there’s no damn garden. How fashion nova didn’t push back is beyond me now i’m just sol? Fashion nova are crooks. Just look at the pictures attached

Fashion Nova The way they refunded my money to me

my ordered 4 things, sent 3 pairs of jeans back that did not fit. they paid me back with a gift card. the clothes were never worn and sent back appropriately. i will never shop with them again because of how hard it is to get your money back, that they take quickly, even before the articles are shipped. i want my money put back on my credit card. the same method to which i paid You! You will not force me to continue shopping with you! order # [protected]

Fashion Nova They cancel my order of 964 USD but didn’t refund

On May 1st I placed an order with fashion nova

I received a bank message confirm the amount of 964 USD was deducted from my Mastercard

Hours later, fashion nova sent me a cancellation note and said they will refund , that was in May 1st. I contacted them several times they said to be patient and they kept sending the same automatic reply . their last reply worried me because they sent a photo showing I paid 0!

I paid 964 USD, they just disappeared

I never got my money back

7 business days already passed

Today we are on May11th

Did they really officially rubbed me?

How would such a company be allowed to work and be trusted
