Arrived to pick the car up - friendly behind the counter staff - that is where it stopped.
Already paid for and asked to pay the Euro 100 deposit (had paid for excess)
The lady behind the counter confirmed drop off at the same location on the 1st Jan.
Not shown around car to check, no petrol highlighted (same as returned) and just shown to car - keys were not also there when we arrived.
Call 3 hours later from branch manager saying that they were not open on the 1st Jan and we had to drop of it at a remote, unmanned site.
I asked about car inspection and the person said - someone will look around it when the place opens and we will authorise the return.
The new drop off place affected our plans for our holiday by having to come back early.
Dropped car off on time, in the same condition and with slightly more fuel than needed.
Took video and time stamp of the car just in case as the shop was unmanned and we had to use a drop box.
It is not 7 days later and still no deposit returned - emails unanswered and just exceptionally poor service from Enterprises end.
One of the growing companies who are happy to take your money but not offer any care or commitment to their clients.
Claimed loss: No Deposit returned when due (paid on Credit Card for no delays) and should be held not taken
Desired outcome: Deposit returned and some offer of compensation for disruption to the break.
