October 28,2025 I went to Valvoline for oil change that lead to me needing a new engine. Valvoline at first honored my claim since it was December 1st 2025 that I was able to make contact.
They provided a rental car from Enterprise which went over the rental agreement which was concerning because I hadn't received any notification from Valvoline that My claim wasn't approved however I received a call from Enterprise requesting either payment or the vehicle because Valvoline had not made a payment and enterprise wasn't able to contact the store manager who was responsible for paying for the rental.
Enterprise debited my bank account for 3 different amounts while I continue to work on getting Valvoline to answer the phone, which I had to use customer service to get a message to the manager and area manager of Valvoline because I don't have any updates about the diagnostic results and the claim that was made and the rental car hasn't been paid for.
I spoke with customer service agent that had access to the claim file and assured me that there wasn't a denial letter in my file and there nothing stating that the rental is to be paid by me the customer when the charges are connected to Valvoline account held with enterprise and that's why it's concerning that enterprise would report the vehicle stolen when enterprise never had any contact information but the business line number, they didn't have my address or email address that was why I was arrested in the rental because enterprise failed to contact Valvoline who rented the vehicle if enterprise was trying to find out the address for me that Valvoline clearly had because they were the company that did the oil change and came out and had the vehicle towed and if enterprise could not reach me and didn't have Correct contact information because the employee never requested it because the rental was in Valvoline claims and I was to sign as the driver.
