Dollar Tree review: Harassed by a manager while my family of 6 were being diagnosed with corona virus. Then some.

My name is Kristine Brecht. I recently worked at the Galloway, Ohio Dollar Tree under the management of Joseph. On Sunday, January 10, 2021 I had sent a text to Joseph that I was not able to make it to work due to personal reasons. One reason I will keep to myself at this time, for it is infact personal but the other was I was waiting on the results of my husband's Covid results. I had told him on January 8, 2021 of the fact my husband was running a fever, etc. My children proceeded to become sick and husband was tested. It came back as a positive result which we recieved on January 11, 2021. After I had texted him the morning of January 10, 2021 that I was unable to make it. He texted me back nearly a dozen texts harassing, reprimanding, guilting and more to me throughout the day when it was not even a scheduled day of mine to begin with. Mind you I did the day before tell him ok. He makes all of his employees feel uncomfortable when they say no first of all. Then talks about all of them when they don't want to come in early, stay late, and work 7 days. I have all texts copied from him. Corona test confirmation. I was upset I was way to uncomfortable to go back to work at a place that is a mile and a half from my house and I spend hundreds of dollars at a month typically. Now I can't even shop there without feeling uncomfortable let alone work there. My husband is very mad, did not take well to what went down and did not want me to return there. I tried to call numbers numerous times over past couple days but I have a sick family of six right now and having to deal with this absurdness on top kind of sucks. My number is [protected]. Just him to not be able to do this to other employees that actually need the money.
