This has been an awful & disappointing experience.Especially since this person was supposed to be a in a leadership role. I thought CVS focused on care & valued empathy.. I have felt belittled, dismissed, judged & disregarded in your store when I came for support. I brought an issue up to your pharmacy manager that the pharmacy tech was rude to me. (female pharmacy manager at CVS: 119 Eastchester Dr. in High Point, NC.) She stated it was an opinion whether she was rude. .Apparently, NOT speaking to customers & completely disregarding them is OK ? She told me I was wasting her time, she is not customer service. . She said that’s not her job, She told me if I wanted to be treated nicely, I should go to cold stone or Chic-fila. She judged me, she talked down to me, she rolled her eyes, interrupted me, and laughed at me sarcastically.
What happened tonight is an injustice to all people everywhere. No one should ever be treated this way. I don’t wish to special, I wish to be treated with human decency.
This woman’s behavior, the pharmacy manager, was deplorable. I am truly terrified to think how she treats vulnerable people that come in there when they are at their worst and they’re getting medication’s filled.
She told me that it was not their job at CVS to be nice to people. That they were just there to fill medication’s. She told me that I was being a little unrealistic, asking for a pharmacy tech to be nice to me when she checks me out. And by the way, I’ve been going to this pharmacy for over 12 years and I’m always nice to everyone.
This is such a sad, sad sign of the state of our world. That people consider it extra work to just be nice to each other. I’ve already moved all my prescriptions to another CVS across town, but as soon as I can, I’m going to move them all somewhere else. I am so soured by this experience.
But even more so, Just disgusted that this woman thinks the way she does. And she has such low standards about customer service and communicating with people. I’m really blown away and I’m also hurt. she should not work with the public, and if she hates people that much she should keep her mouth shut.
Recommendation: If you can help it don’t go there, but if you have to, don’t expect much
