On Saturday, January 24, 2026, I was at the CVS in King George, VA 22485 at 9 am to pick up my husband’s prescription
At 9:45 I was finally the 2nd car, behind a black suv with 2 black dogs in the back. This suv sat for almost 20 minutes at the window, paid for and received his prescription. Finally, at some minutes after 10 am I was at the window. My 2 prescriptions were ready so I asked about my husbands which were sent in by the doctor on Wednesday January 21, 2026, after his heart catheterization.
I was told first that they did not have anything for him except his inhaler, which I told her I wasn’t picking that up and they could stop refilling it because it isn’t helping.
Hannah was her name she was working the window. She proceeded to tell me there was a block on it, so I asked why and couldn’t it be taken off. Then I asked why the block wasn’t taken off by a pharmacist already because it was sent in on Wednesday. She proceeded to get the pharmacist to remove the block, never answering my question. Then she comes back to the window and informs me I must pull around so they can fill the prescription. I am still asking why it didn’t have the block removed already and the prescription was not ready. I never got an answer. I was YELLED at by her and told to get out of line and pull around while they filled my prescription. I informed her I had already waited an hour and almost 20 minutes behind that black suv and he paid and received his prescription. She straight lied and said he had to pull around too he did not get his prescription. Then, a chunk dark haired girl who was working in the 2nd chair comes storming over to the window and started YELLING at me and telling me to leave get out of iine and don’t come back just leave. First, she had no business stopping her work to come yell at me, this is how prescriptions get messed up. Secondly, Hannah was helping me, and it was uncalled for that she stopped her work and came over there at all. That girl just kept yelling and I finally raised my voice and asked why the block was not removed because they had the prescription since Wednesday and this was Saturday. It should have been ready for pick up. But that 2nd girl did not stop yelling to listen to the question I was asking. I toid her I was not raising my voice or yelling at them, and I did not appreciate being yelled at. The pharmacist was on the phone the whole time and there is no way he did not hear these employees yelling at me. He did nothing. And when I called and left a message for him to return my call he could care less.
This is completely inappropriate behavior for people working in customer service. I am old enough to be Hannah’s grandmother and the other girl’s mother. I am appalled that this behavior would be acceptable to CVS or any retailer. It is not only unprofessional, but also completely unacceptable and completely disrespectful. Hannah said customers had been yelling at them all day, so they wanted to yell at someone. I informed her I had not even raised my voice to her until both attacked me with their yelling.
I am 62 years old and have NEVER in my life been treated this way. The pharmacist and both of those young ladies need to be fired. Working in customer service takes a special kind of person and none of them, especially the two Yelling and telling me to leave DO NOT NEED TO BE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have lived in King George since 1982 and have been using this CVS since they came to King George; but in the future I will take my business to a pharmacy that treats people with respect. I will not be returning to this store or any CVS in the future.
I would like to know exactly what CVS does with these 3 and feel I have a right to and should get an apology letter for the mistreatment.
