On November 1st, 2025, at 3:26pm I visited the CVS store in Hyattsville MD, store number 2373.
I was standing in the aisle next to the makeup. There was a female CVS employee stocking one of the shelves. A male customer walked up to her and asked her if she could show him where a specific medication was.
This young man was soft spoken in his manner. This CVS female employee responded to this young man in a tone that was very loud and disrespectful telling him and I quote (You don' walk up to someone and start talking to them without saying hello). The young man stated I said hello, she again in an aggressive and loud tone said Hello, you don't walk up to someone and start talking.
The young man again stated I said hello, she again in a tone that was very close to yelling telling him you don't start talking to someone without saying hello.
At that point I was disgusted at her behavior and how she was reprimanding this CVS customer. I intervened and told her I am sure CVS corporate would be applauded to know one of their employees was being so rude and disrespectful to one of their customers.
She responded by telling me to mind my own business and no one was talking to me. I responded saying it was my business, because no one has the right to disrespect another person in that manner.
I asked her for a supervisor, she refused to get one, I asked her for her name, she refused to give me her name.
I was able to get her name from another store employee.
Her name is Jasmine.
The customer she was disrespectful to is Ian his telephone number is [protected]. I want to mention I do not know this young man, but I do not stand by and let others be mistreated in my presence.
I do want to mention that Ian asked me to leave it alone because he didn't want Jasmine to lose her job. I communicated to Ian that it was noble of him to have empathy for her, but CVS corporate should know they have an employee that I am sure is not acting on the behalf of CVS's mission.
Desired outcome: Any apology given to Ian his telephone number is [protected], and additional training given to Jasmine. I also want someone form CVS to follow up with me concerning this unfortunate matter.Kathleen Jackson [protected]
