Costco plastic chip in combo pizza

Dear Sir/Madame:

I'm a fan of your large combo pizzas, and I still plan to buy them. However, on December 23, 2016, I purchased a fresh pie (item # 954799) and brought it home. We consumed most of it and froze the rest.

On Jan. 2, my wife was cutting a piece on her plate and found a finger tip-sized, clear plastic chip on the surface of her piece of pie. A photo of the chip on her plate is enclosed. The plastic appears to be either packaging or an artificial fingernail.

We your products and customer service, and we'll continue to shop. However, we suggest that you issue a reminder to your culinary staff about keeping watch for foreign material on the pizza and to refrain from wearing applying anything to their fingers that might come off into food items during the preparation process.

Costco kindness and membership related

Today I went to pick up a medicine I always get my prescriptions here. Since I was going and my mom was sick she is the member, she asked me to buy some groceries, pretty mush sparragus, green beans, mix veggies, peanut butter, protein shake, and a rostiery chicken I had to wait for 15 minites. When i was about to pay they called a supervisor to ask for her permition to allow me for this only time to ise my mom card since she was sick, she declined. She said the member had it to be present, a gentleman behind me asked if I can used his? She also declined, that means she lyed when she said the member had it to be present. I always read about the ceo worry about his employees been at home in special holidays, what about a sick member sending her only daugther for her? Really dissapointed I will complaint everywhere since this is not kindness or logic or an exception when need it of costco employees.

Costco changes to kirkland moisturizing shampoo

Just finished a bottle of the wonderful Kirkland brand shampoo, or what used to be wonderful shampoo. I started using a new bottle this morning and am very disappointed to find that you have changed the formula. It is drying and turns my hair into a ratted, knotted very dry mess. I always use the conditioner along with the shampoo anyway but now people will be forced to use the conditioner. I searched for a long time to find a great shampoo and finally found it in the Kirkland brand in 2016. Now I will be searching again for something comparable to the creamy rich moisturizing shampoo that Kirkland once made. I beg you, Costco/Kirkland, please bring back the old formula! this new one sucks!

Costco kirkland potatoes and salmon dry dog food

Approximately 2 months ago I switch my dog's back to costco kirkland brand dry dog food approximately one week ago my older dog refuses to eat the food and my 5 & a half month old puppy continued to eat it my puppy has been throwing up non-stop for 48 hours and can't have a bowel movement. When they first started the dog food he was having a bowel movement approximately 6 times a day even my older female was. And they both were excessively thirsty. We have never had this issue on any other dry dog food. After a $300 vet bill we've determined it's the dog food upsetting his stomach. We switched his dog food and he has no problem eating and keeping it down.

Costco aidells meatballs

I love the taste of these meatballs but I'm tired of biting into and spitting out hard bits in about every 6th meatball. Cartridge? Plastic? It's a recurring problem, not just one package. Happens in various different flavors. It's nasty and I can no longer bring myself to buy these meatballs despite the convenience and how much my family loves them.

Costco rejected to provide lens service for the eyeglasses frame for no reason

Date of Incident: 12/31/2016
Location: San Diego, Mission Valley

Incident Details:

Today is the worst experience that I never expected from costco opticals. I had a frame+lens done from costco for my son few months back. My son has made slight scratches on the lens. I went to costco to replace the lens only as the frame is in good shape. To my surpise they denied to accept the frame which was brought for the same costco. The reason for this the costo optical manager said was "The frame has got chew bites at the end of the of one of the temple tips" (Attached the image of the same). Then, she showed a list of rules (attached are the rules as well) that their costco opticals corporate has put in while accepting a frame (though the frame was brought from costoco) to replace lens. No where in that rules it says that a damage like chew bites that too at the edge of temple tips is an issue. After a huge argument, I just walked out useless. Surpisingly, walmart accepted the frame to replace it with lens.

Guys.. becareful, if you are taking a frame from costco and you do not take insurance. This is seriously crap and worst experience that I faced.

Yes, the manager said the same. I made it clear to them, I will not come back like that and I told them take a snap of it for your records if you have such doubt. For me getting the lens replaced is important and they just denied it like dummies with silly reason. I tried explaining them with basic examples like, if I take my mobile/car for servicing, will they deny saying that my mobile/car is having some scratches. Itz just stupidity of costco opticals which I could not digest being a genuine customer. More over, with walmart I just checked with them and they accepted to do service on my glasses. I am still waiting as a last leap of hope because of continuous argument from me the costco optical manager took my contact and said she will get back to me which I belive least possible thing that can happen something positive.

Costco tire center

The staff are not there most of the time, and rude. I had a lump on right front tire, they checked and told me to replace all 4, but I decided to hold up 2 of them, and replaced worst ones. They told me to wait 1hour which turns out to be 2. After 1, 5 hour I came back, my car was still being worked on, the worst thing is the lump is still there. Then they told me I just have to get all 4 replaced, so they did nothing with the one looks like about to explode.

Costco tires

I was told by the manager on duty to wait one week till the tires I wanted went on sale, I waited the week I came in and talked to manger on duty (Scott Golich) he basically told me I didn't talk to anybody and that I was a liar. He said that I must have gone to a different store, but this is the only Costco I shop at (101 and cave creek rd). I have never been treated so rudely in all my 25 years of being a executive member. I was so upset I left the store. I feel that Scott does not convey the Costco image and treats his costumers poorly.

Costco Frozen pineapple chunks

I have been buying Kirkland Frozen Pineapple Chunks several times now. Last time was on the second week of December 2016.
Most of the chunks taste delicious but same of them taste like having garlic on them, some others taste like they being thrown to the floor and then added to the bag, and some of them taste very weird.

Please do something about it and let me know when I can buy this item again.

Costco kirkland 1% organic milk half gallon - exp 2/2/17

12/27 & 12/28 - 3 times in 18 hours
My daughter, Amalia, drank kirkland milk and had an upset stomach, projectile vomited. We thought it was other food initially, but each time she drank the milk, she threw up. Also, she was not sick prior to drinking it nor has this happened in the past(she has drank this milk for 2 years).

Basically, after eliminating all the other food she ate, the milk was the one that caused it within 1-2 mins of drinking it. I believe we purchased 6 half gallons of this milk.

Costco new citi card may be the end of our 10 year membership with costco

We have been members of costco for over a decade. We enjoyed the kickbacks we received with our amex card and now citi. The trouble comes in with the conversion from amex to citi and now with citi itself. When we were switched over to citi, our limit was shrunk below our then balance on our amex which suddenly threw us into an "over the credit limit" status which affected our overall credit rating. They required we pay it down to bring it right, which would be reasonable in most situations but the amount was more than we could come up with at one time. We did, eventually, get it under the credit limit and moved on. This month, we were using our card to buy presents and do holiday things. We expected, like most cards, we would get declined if we were about to make a purchase that would put us over our limit. Not so! Citi allowed us to make a purchase that put us over our limit by $1600! We called to see why it didn't stop us. They said that some customers are allowed an "authorized base credit limit increase". I told them I didn't ask for authorization. I asked that they email me the portion of our agreement that states that I would be allowed to go over my limit by any amount, without notification, and that they would require immediate repayment. Also, I asked to see notification of my authorization or request of the "authorized base credit limit". They couldn't find such verbiage for either. Apparently their credit limit is more of a suggestion and they allow you to go over it so they can collect the fees for going over the limit.
How this affects my relationship with costco:
We love our costco and their products. Many of the basic things I can get at walmart for the same price (Roughly) but there are many quality items I can not; for that and the kickbacks from my costco credit card, I stay loyal to costco. I'm so done with the wishy washy citi card and their blurry credit limit lines. I don't trust citicards anymore. It looks bad on costco that they are not saying or doing anything to keep citi honest and transparent. If I get rid of my citi card (Mainly to save what's still decent about my once excellent credit rating) , my kickbacks go away and so I may as well get rid of my costco membership too. I currently drive 45 minutes each month to shop at costco. It used to be worth it for the quality products and the kickbacks from costco and their credit card. Without the kickbacks (If we get rid of our citi card, as I suspect we will) then it won't be worth the 45 minute drive just for the products that I can't get at walmart.

Costco racists cashier

I went the cashier to pay for the stuff I bought and when I was ready to pay the cashier looked at the credit card I was using, when I handed it to her she saw it was not my dad (it was my father who was sitting by the food court tired from walking the store, he is also old that's why he did not want to walk stand on the line). The cashier handed me the card and screamed on my face "return the thing you stole" the people behind us heard her and said the same thing she did not let me talk at all. Everything that came out her mouth was "return everything you stole". I was trying to tell her that it is my father who was sitting by the food court. She did not ask for my ID if we had the same last name. She took the stuff that was in my cart and was talking behind my back. I AM A MUSLIM and I had my HAJAB on that's why she thought I stole them. She did not ask for my ID, she did not give me a chance to walk towards my father get his license. I felt very disrespected and humiliated on how I was treated.

I don't know about the story but for future reference your father can add you to his charge account so that you can also have a charge plate and shop for him with it. Costco has a lot of theft. I saw a guy putting a whole huge roast in his pants once. Not saying a cashier couldn't be more polite but you need to use a card with your name on it and your father could add you to the account to make this easier.

The. Cashier should have handled more polite way by asking her dad to come. overall Cotco customer service is going down in the recent months and not sure is it breakup of amex relationship or recent trump winning elections

It had nothing to do with your hijab. Also, Islam is not a race. It's a religion. Furthermore, if you're trying to use a credit card with your father's name it then she has every right to refuse it. If she did say these things then she could've handled it a lot better. But crying racism? Come on.

Costco pricing differences

My husband bought a 42" electric fireplace (item# 1049041) at our Costco in Grandville (#744) for $169. I was certain that the price I has seen earlier was $129 at our Grand Rapids store just a few miles away. Sure enough store #784 has the item for $40 less. The clerk told me I could go to the service desk for the difference. Meanwhile my husband called the store about the situation. They told him we would have to buy the cheaper one at the GR store and go return the more same higher priced item. This was very frustrating and disappointing for us. We love Costco and actually for policy and practice behaviors have never stepped for in a Sam's Club or Walmart. We have loved the Costco model. Can you reconsider this practice? These are two stores in our same town. One is southwest and the other southeast. Super surprised and disappointed in this seeming price gouging.

Costco unethical behaviour

My fiance and I went to do our last minute holiday shopping on December 22nd 2016 in the evening. Not knowing how much we would buy, we decided not to take a cart at the entrance. It was until we realized we both had a handful that we decided we needed a cart. We saw a Costco employee standing next to an empty cart but we weren't sure if it belongs to him. Since he was busy talking to another Costco employee and not to be disrespectful and cut their conversation, we decided to rest our items in the empty cart. At this moment, both employees were still talking and so my fiance and I decided to carry on our shopping with the unused cart. As we walk away with the cart, the Costco employee suddenly yelled back at us in a very disrespectful manner. We asked if the cart belongs to him and he yelled back in a disrespectful manner stating it belongs to him. We kindly apologized and took out the items from the cart right away. As we do so, not only did the Costco employee did not acknowledge our apology, he gave us a very mean stare and did a gesture to his colleague which we felt extremely, extremely uncomfortable. As a long time Costco customer, we felt a bit disappointed as we always had very nice customer service at Costco and this encounter had really shocked us.

Costco at&t samsung s7 edge bogo bought 7 months ago never got discount.

I bought a bogo offer for below lines at costco on louisville on may 10th 2016

Spoke to costco manager kelvin he said he spoke to att and they are going to credit my discount. its been over 8 months, but i still did not get my discount. tried calling manager couple of times. he would not lift the call respond back to me for any of my messages or voice mails.

I had never experienced this kind of poor customer service. i want some one to jump in and resolve this issue asap.

I had chat history with the manager kelvin @[removed] stating he was talking to att and they will discount my credits ( i can share that info if you guys needed). but i dont see any credits on my account. more over the manager stopped taking my calls or responding back to me with status. i have been waiting patently since 5months. ( 5 months to resolve a single issue, is too long).

Costco travel services

On 12/21/16, I was trying to complete the online information for a vacation package. There was a glitch in the system and I was unable to enter some information so had to call customer service. They had to re-do all the information I had entered already and it took a while (the customer service rep. was FANTASTIC and super helpful). By the time the info was re-entered, I was told that the flight I had chosen for my family was no longer part of the package but could get the flight added for an additional $700. WOW! lots of money. There was another flight similar but it cost an additional $300. I asked about advertisement and why I couldn't get the flight that I had already submitted for online and was told it was because of availability. Our family was going with another family (our relatives) and I had told them about this deal. She was on the phone the same time I was booking this package but was told her credit card must have purchased the advertised package before mine. Not happy about that since I was the one that persuaded them to use Cosco and it cost me $300. If I would have known you were limited on the package deals/flights, we would have booked something else. I couldn't back out because they were already good to go with the entire package at the price quoted while ours went up $300. We were trying to get on the same flights since we were going to the airport together and now not able to unless I want to pay another $700. Very misleading and disappointing and feel that the package was misrepresented.

Costco meat

The ground beef looked fresh and healthy and red when we bought it at the maple wood mn store. We were very surprised when the inside revealed dark, unhealthy looking meat. Do you wrap the old stuff in new stuff so it will sell? There was nothing wrong with the inside meat, it was the deceptive appearance that concerned. If this is deceptive, what else is?

Costco vision 4k television 58 in

Last January we purchased a Vizio 58 inch 4K TV to watch the Broncos in the Super Bowl at the end of last month our TV stopped working we contact Costco concierge on the 1st of December they said they do not handle the warranty it has to be handled by Vizio even though it was within their one year they sent the information to Vizio it took a couple weeks before Vizio contacted us and within 3 weeks they finally sent out a repair Tech with the wrong parts and the inability to repair the television has the television was defective and could not be repaired in the home on December 17th 2016 it was reported to Vizio that the TV had to be replaced by the technician while he was in our home and now they're stating that they can't get it replaced until after Christmas repurchase televisions appliances in the past from Sam's Club and even Costco Walmart and never within the first year of a failure did we have to wait to get it replaced it was replaced immediately apparently Costco has poor negotiations with Vizio and doesn't hold them to their rational replacement policy for defective televisions and a month to get your television replaced or repaired is absurd Costco Concierge for always polite but just pointed the finger to Vizio Vizio it was hit-and-miss if we would reach a reasonable or respectable person or not I believe Costco should take more responsibility in products if they purchase for sale and ensuring that the warranties are upheld in timely manner

Costco photo mugs

On Dec. 9, 2016 I responded to one of your email ads by ordering photo mugs for my family. DECEMBER 9TH! They were promised to come in between December 16-20th. I receive absolutely no information on the order status on your USELESS website, so on December 20th I call the warehouse and am told that the order has arrived. Why did I believe you losers could get anything right?! I won't make that mistake again! I will never use your lazy company for anything ever again! One of the FIVE mugs I ordered was shipped; would you like to know what you can do with the other four? Stuff them where the sun doesn't shine! I have travel plans which do not allow for any of your screw-ups, so I can no longer give these mugs as Christmas gifts. And you have the unmitigated gall to send email ads claiming that there is still time for people to order from you in time for Christmas! You lying, money-grubbing pieces of filth! The only way you could make those mugs available for the Christmas presents I planned is to mail them to me, because I have traveled out of state for the holidays.

Costco huge mistake

I heard a lot about Costco and decided to give it a try. So I made an online order and purchased a tablet as a Christmas present. So, Christmas is next week and there is still no tablet even though I ordered it long in advance. Costco customer service is absolutely useless, they say they can't cancel my order and that I need to be more patient. According to what they said my order will arrive somewhere in January and I'm absolutely disappointed! I really hope I'll get my order, because all these reviews make me nervous.
