We have a Jenn Air range stove and the grill portion was not working properly. We had purchased the Dependability Plus Warranty. We called and they suggested cleaning out these small holes which were clogged. We tried to do this and it didn't work. They told us to have someone come out and this would be covered. We had someone come out and they fixed it for $117.91 and said it wasn't covered. He was there less than 5 minutes. I then called Maytag Dependability Plus and they said that it wasn't covered and were making excuses saying it was our "abuse and neglect."
Do not purchase this warranty. It is not worth the paper it is written on, and the personnel will tell you parts and service are covered until you actually make a claim.
The model I bought is louder than normal. The tech. Told me that is the way it is. I'm sorry this is not right. I sometimes feel like I'm listening to a bucket of bolts. This machine is less then 6 months old. The way the water rushed in its loud. The way the machine shifted to each step is loud and when it weight shifted it like knocking sounds.
The left hand side of the lid closure part has broken and it will not close to be able to start the washer. This apparently is a major defect on this washer as I see many similar complaints. MVWB765f3w is the manufacturer number. The replacement part is 250.00. I don’t think we all should have to replace this part.
My old agitator machine was able to get the clothes cleaner than this new Bravos XL. Is there a retrofit or modification kit that would allow me to replace the impeller with an agitator?

Hello, we own a maytag washing machine that was purchased 2.5 years ago.
I don't think the machine is old ! The washer shut down on us 12/06/2023 the technician came by a week later.
Now they finally received the pieces and i have wait until 07/07/23 ?
This beyond ridiculous!

The wash machine agitator agitates a long time before it even has water in it! All my clothes are torn up again! I hate it! I will be calling today. Clothes don’t even come out clean unreal. And I’ve had the problem a long time with one item here and there. This time 4 shorts and a couple shirts!

Purchased Maytag washing machine roughly 3-4 yrs ago and have had many issues and repairs on this model. Machine has stopped during cycles many times, takes too long in washing, doesn’t spin the clothing fully, had to have technician balancing. Too many issues and I’m a very unhappy customer
outside of case rusting where top meets the case purchased 3-29-19. bought 5 yr warranty..see photo...never used bleach in machine
I purchased a brand new washer and it won't spin out have it registered and customer service will not help get a repairman to look at it or allow a return to the store i purchased it from
I called customer service and played phone bingo all they want to do is sell more services and warranty.
my new maytag washing machine has been a problem from day one. maytag sent a technician from flamingo appliance and they changed the motor. now it is even worse. i bought the washer and dryer and it was delivered on the fourteenth of march of 2023. im requesting a replacement but not getting much of a response
My dark clothes often come out with a white streak even though we use liquid detergent. Washer is less than 2 years old (DN 53744) (MVW7230HW). We follow all protocols for cleaning the machine. Purchased at Bray Scarff in Laurel, MD, summer of 2022.
on january 1 2023 7:00 am opening the door and door fell apart the warranty is misconceiving. it is only 5 years old with 2 living in the house.model number mmv6190fz-1 serial numbertr73912325 .i contacted a local maytag service man and tried to contact maytag customer service
I purchased this model because it was explained that is was one of the best models available because of the commercial Technology; however, I have had nothing but problems the 1st being a cracked lid by the hinges and now the gear case/ motor is bad. The machine was just built in year 2019 and purchased in September 2019. Barely 3 years old.
Every time I put clothes through a wash cycle the washer seems to want to take a trip across my basement and it does not drain properly

This washer has not worked right from day one. 6 visits by technicians. Still not cleaning.

Maytag washer model MVWX655DW2 on the normal cycle does not have enough water to get all the clothes wet. Maytag's response is use the deep water cycle. My response I want the machine to operate as designed. I was told by a maytag representative that's the best the machine will do. My advice is to steer clear of maytag products.

We bought a brand new, Maytag washer a few months ago, and ever since it has been showing problems, the water temperature is always warm and hot. It won't work if I put on cold. After soaking, it doesn't wash, and after rinse/spin, sometimes it's still soaking wet. They can send a technician out, charge $175, it's still under the warranty
You told me you was cover bill didnt pay when washing machine got fixed lied i will never buy another whirlpool product dont stand behind merchandise all do lie make folks buy your stuff dont service when still under warranty
The panel board died after only 1.5 years and costs more than the washer to repair! My washer before this lasted 8.5 years! I bought my Maytag through Home Depot along with the matching dryer. I read that this model is one of the top brands, however it only lasted 1.5 years...
For years I have been washing small loads because the spin does not work properly. I'm now finding out the Centennial Models are essentially "lemons". What can be done to get my machine to run properly?
Total discust. I will never buy another Maytag product.
I purchased a Maytag Dependability Plus warranty for our washer and dryer on 11/4/2008.
On 8/3 2009 our dryer stopped working. After about 6 feeble atempts to repair it Maytag said we exceeded the cost of the dryer and too bad for us as they would pay no more.
However their website states that they will repair or replace the appliance with purchase of the warranty.
I have sent a letter to the attorney general consumer protection agency. I also complained to the better Business Bureau along with an e-mail to Dan Rodericks of the Sun.
We purchased a refrigerator in 2001 and bought the extended warranty at that time. Recently something happened to my icemaker I called extended warranty and they had no record I had bought the extended warranty. I sent Maytag a copy of my original receipt showing I had purchased this, but they will not honor this. The dealer has gone out of business, Scotts Maytag... Which leaves me with nothing,
Does not cover if you exceed the cost of the appliance. Worst extended warranty.
