Carl's Jr. food order and potential health risks associated

To Whom it may concern:

On July 4th at the Carl's Jr. located at 3205 W. Hammer Lane, Stockton Ca 95209 Phone [protected], # 1100219, I had gone there to get dinner as a nice surprise, for my client, who had suffered a massive injuries to her spine after being through a triple hit and run on black iced roads in Oregon. I normally cook for her. And as such am all too aware of her arm's length list of DANGEROUS FOOD ALLERGIES. Those being to tomatoes. This includes fresh tomatoes, tomato paste, BBQ sauce (containing and or flash pasteurized by tomatoes, and ketchup). In essence and substance, grade or degree, rate or range of proximity to even one drop of which WILL ( and has ) made her throat close up on her. With her experiencing anaphylactic shock. AND YES within mere minutes of being exposed to ANY DROP of tomatoes on her food, she reacts with it is aggressively spreading( like poison) through her entire body. Much like a series of hornet stings all over her entire body, then on her nervous system. I made it PERFECTLY clear in understandable English to BOTH the cashier taking the order at the time AND the manager. Both of which had acknowledged my request. As they carried on in the routine of taking an order from the drive-through, as well. The manager ( a young man named Ruis who) was working at the drive-through as well. I had just explained this concern for her well being in mind to the cashier and he started to relay it with trepidation. Detailing her allergic reactions to tomatoes( and other foods). BOTH of the men ( cashier and manager) SEEMED to have acknowledged me in a way that made it clear about her need for the NO TOMATOES NO KETSUP NO BARBEQUE SAUSE request because of the need for an EPI-PEN IF she was exposed to any drop of tomato. Even If I ate the fruit ( because I might be in close proximity and she inhale even a particulate of it )she might get sick from that exposure to it. Or worse even Die. Then I proceeded to list off other things she is allergic to and results of her exposure-- towit the young cashier seemed to actually wince when I said, " HER THROAT WILL CLOSE UP " they both appeared to have gotten my very simple request, during our brief but detailed conversation. AND no. There was no Rush. Only one other person in the Dining area came in AFTER this order had been made. And NO one was in the drive-through ( as in the construction of the store had the exit door going right into the direction of any traffic coming out of said drive through) to gain access to the sidewalk over bushes, in this location. When I gave her( Miss Anna Lopez) the food ( her sandwich) had tomatoes in it. She then proceeded to call the store and the manager named Luis answered, and before I knew what had happened she went into the store to get it replaced. I am BOTH a minister AND a caregiver.

IN focusing on my earlier conversation with Luis, I am left wondering what part of "No Cross CONTAMINATION" is a foreign language to English speaking people, or those trained in the food industry?

What part of that indicates that is OK to make another customer's order at the same time as a person WITH DEADLY FOOD ALLERGIES?

I had watched this many times before by other restaurants. And was reassured by them in the store, that the orders were to made separately and bagged separately.

I was witness to Anna Lopez' conversation on the phone at the residence of Anna Lopez and myself. with the store manager. when it was that he had called me a liar, about the food order I had literally made less than 30 minutes earlier. That I had ordered what I had exactly as it was. I AGREE that a retraining in proper or ethical procedures for handling customer's orders is put in place when being made. Known perhaps as Food Allergies and the individual's order. I know that in certain shops it is labeled as a "Grill order". While an apology for wasting time by a customer coming back into the store an extra trip in her walker for an attempt of a corrected order that turned out she cannot eat because of cross-contamination. A simple thing to put in place is in the changing of work gloves and a simple washing down of counters ( taking an extra 15 seconds) in an order that takes about 7 to 20 minutes to make, in its entirety. In various other restaurants or ethnic food service places( Halaal for instance) a very simple thing is in place that actually has its various food items be separated by a simple plastic sheet over a simple plastic tub of veggies and meats, all separated. and covered. ( now granted that is not what I am requesting. BUT perhaps a tour of those food establishments should be in order. Lest a patron or several paying customers with allergies be boycotting your chain. Or, possibly run the risk of potential death before a thing be legally done.

Carl's Jr. the $5 box-fries and chicken

Hi Yesterday I went through drivethrough in Vista ca. and ordered 3 of your $5 box fries chicken strips meals. I asked the guy as I ordered if he could please make sure the fries and chicken were hot as last visit both were cold and soggy as if they had been sitting for a while. Well as I sat at the window I noticed the guy dump french fries back into oil and he and another employee were commenting on me wanting fresh hot fries. well the guy took fries and chicken out of oil and looked at other person and said oh well at least they are hot and proceeded to package and give me. well as i drove home i opened one box for some fries and was so upset because they were so over cooked and hard and so dry the chicken strips it was ridiculous. I guess me asking for fresh hot food was too much to ask. It seems to have been food that had been sitting and he just recooked it making it way overcooked. what a disappointment. this is the second time i have had a issue with the food.

Why worry about my spelling...not your problem if you don't understand not your fault, poor training. Been going to Carl's Jr. for years and I have never bee n so disappointed as I am at this moment...false advertisement, they advertise all drinks any size for 1$ yet they charge you an extra 75 cents beware they do...two breakfast sandwiches for 4$ yet some how they don't do breakfast after a certain time, McDonalds doesn't do that anymore...OH by the
way yesterday I got their 5$ meal deal and today it suddenly stopped and let along in all the other issues occurring in many of your fast food locations, sad my kids grew up with you since they where tot's we even collected your famous star Christmas ornaments, let me see does your cooperation even remember that. Carls Jr. aka Hardees think twice before you hire someone who won't ruin you long reputation as the best.

Carl's Jr. service was terrible

I went to your carls jr. On e. 17th street in santa ana, california. I was the only customer, going to work, I waited and waited and waited 15 minutes, I had to finally leave because I would have been late for work. This was at approximately 7:45 am this morning 6/21. Why do I keep patronizing this specific place, because all I get is terrible food and rotten service. There is none closer and I really like the grill cheese breakfast sandwich with ham, but trying to get I properly cooked and now served is getting impossible. I had to leave and did not get my sandwich because the cash registers were not working. This is the 4th complaint about this specific store I have sent to carls. Build one across the street, because I don't want to go here anymore, I am always angry when I get to work when I try to get my sandwich in the morning. I attached a picture of one of my morning grilled cheese breakfast sandwiches I got. When I got to work, I noticed it was not even grilled. Carl's why? Now I am hungry, at work 5 minute late and no breakfast, I guess I will have to go and find a snack in the lunch room, thanks carl's again.

Carl's Jr. ordered a couple burgers 2 lg fries and 2 large drinks

Went into the restaurant at about 11:45 pm ordered two burgers and two lg drinks two leg fries but recieved the burgers two Med drinks and two Med fries but charged for the larger ones and when we brought it to the shift mgrs attention they actually were very rude about it and acted as if we did something wrong to them then they refused to provide a phone number for corporate offices so we had to actually go into the loves section of the buisness and get it from them as well as look it up on the Internet! Very unprofessional and very rude!then the large fry looked as if they dumped the Med one in a large fry box but didn't add any more fries to the fry holder, the shift manager who is named Michael acted very aggressive and threatening toward us . We live in a small town of Williams az and are limited to the places we can select from in order to eat out and for us being locals and the employees also locals we are stunned at the treatment we received, it's just not ok locals or not! Very poor service and stressful just to get something to eat when EVERYTHING else in town is closed at that hour! If you can't or won't provide anokeasent apnisphere then maybe you should take ur buisness and your rude staff and go somewhere else to show ur [censored] cause we sure don't welcome it!

I went into your restaurant in South Ogden Utah, today, July 1, 2018. We were the only customers in the restaurant. We ordered 3 $5 boxes and 2 California burger combos. It was 6:10 p.m. when we arrived. 20 min. later no food. Then a car pulled into the drive up and got their order in about 3 min. Us, still no food. Another car pulled into the drive up, got their food on about 3-4 min. Us still no food. We waited 40 min. total for our food. There was 1 customer who came in after we did, he was still waiting when we FINALLY got our food. I can see waiting 15 to 20 min. If they are busy, but 40 minutes is unacceptable, when we were the only ones in there for 20 min before the other customer came in. It was the cook who was slow. She was making the burgers one at a time, taking her time. The girl that took our order was embarrassed, she kept saying, sorry you have to wait. She even went back in the kitchen to cook the fries. We went to Southern Utah last week, on our way to Arizona and we stopped at the Carl's Jr. In Fillmore Utah. They were booming busy and they got our 5 orders out within 10 min. And the food and the Green Burrito we're delicious. I feel, the 2 Carl's Jr you have in Ogden Utah, both need help. The one on Harrison Blvd needs a faster cook and the one on 12th Street in Ogden, Utah, needs a better Green Burrito. The one on 12th Street used to have a wonderful menu at the Green Burrito, now they cut the menu down to 6 items, not good. One day, I ordered 3 tacos and a order of taquitos and they were ice cold, . I have been going to your restaurants, since they opened in Utah many years ago. I started going to the ones in Salt Lake city Utah, they were great. Then I moved to Ogden Utah, 13 years ago. Started going to the one on 12th Street, until they changed for the worse. So when we moved to South Ogden Ut, we decided to give the South Ogden one a try. We were going there alot. Service and food was good, until today. I asked the girl, if it is under new management. She said no, but it is alot different now. after all these years, I don't think I will be back. I wish I lived closer to the one in Fillmore Utah, but it's about 4 hrs away. You need to help the 2 in Ogden Utah, I don't know if they are franchises, but if they are, they are ruining the Carl's Jr. name. Carl's Jr. customer service

On Sunday, June 10, 2018 I stopped at Carl Jr. to purchase dinner for my family. I went through the drive thru and my two teenagers decided to go in and order. We placed our order at 8:11p.m. when we pulled to the drive thru window we received our drinks. The window was closed and we proceeded to wait. Several cars behind us exited the restaurant due to the wait. We thought to leave but we had already paid and no one ever came back to the drive thru window.I telephoned my sons inside and they said they were still waiting and several guests inside were complaining. After 30 minutes and still no one returned to the drive thru window my husband left the car and went inside. It took us 40 minutes to get our food and then the order was wrong. We parked and went inside and were given refunds along with 3 other customers with no explanation and no apologies and left upset, tired, and still hungry. It was a horrible experience.

Carl's Jr. super star

First of all I ordered a super Star with no onions! The lady repeated my order to me and I still got onions on my sandwich as well a strand of hair on my cheese! The employees were also pretty rude I did not appreciate their so called customer service I am very disappointed at this representation of their products to a customer they should be more professional

Carl's Jr. bad service

On Friday June 8, 2018 I went into the Carl's Jr restaurant to have lunch I ordered two Oreo milkshakes and one chocolate milkshake. I only got two of my milkshakes I had tried to let the employees know and I had two gentlemen argue with me for ten minutes I than just walked out with my two shakes I will no longer go to that Carl's Jr restaurant again their employees are not respectful to their customers

Carl's Jr. unprofessional service

At 7:14pm today 06/08/2018 I visited the carls jr restaurant location in culver city at the corner of sepulveda and venice blvd. The young man that assisted me was a young african american man. I requested specially no pickles no onions on my burger. A few minutes later I get my order. When I arrive home, I unwrap the burger and the pickles and onion I requested to not have, were in there. I had to repackage the burger. Keep in mind that taking the onions and pickles out doesn't mean you still don't taste them. I felt this was very unprofessional service. When one places a simple request like this I don't understand why it cannot be granted. I have gone to other carls jr and they seem to obey your request. This location doesn't.

And why is there not a category for complaints here? I'm not looking for a $%^ job!

At 4:20 pm I was at Carl's Jr. On saviers road in Oxnard California the cashier give me my drink I ask for no ice she got upset gave me a look and took the drink and then she slam my drink down and walk away I told the guy with a plaid shirt of what the cashier did he didn't speak to her she was really rude and I was being poilet and I don't know her name is

Carl Jr's in the Whittwood center is just as bad as the one that you're talking about if they don't want to work they should quit and get another job they were so rude to us today I will not be going back to the Carl's Jr at Whittwood center again

Carl's Jr. unable to get the item without salt.

My husband and I went to your Carl's Jr. 1101080 at 27467 Hesperian Blvd. Hayward, California on May 29, 2018 in the afternoon. We started placing our order with the young man who was running the drive through, because the girl at the counter had walked away to do something else. In the middle of our order she came back and took over the order. At the end of our order my husband asked for no salt on the French fry's. We were told by the girl that the they came pre-salted in the package. My husband said, "But we can't have salt!" Then the young man reiterated that they came pre salted in the package. We had to eat them with salt! Is that customary?

Carl's Jr. food

Hello there,
A couple of weeks ago I purchased food from the Carl's Junior located at 11509 laurel canyon in San Fernandina Valley, Ca,
While My 11 years old child was biting on his spicy chicken he noticed a long hair between the bun and the chicken, this happened while I was driving back to my house.
I immediatly asked my kid to stop eating, I tried to call Carl junior store numerous times but without luck, there was a message saying that the mailbox is full, i tried the same number for 3 days in a row and i still have the same message.
Please see the attached pictures, it will show the order number, a picture of the hair I found.

Carl's Jr. unethical behaviour

On 5-27-2018 at approx 3:30 pm the security at the door of the talking stick location didn't approve of my pocket contents so while I waited outside my girlfriend went in and ordered for both of us... I was followed outside as more store security arrived and police were called... I was made to clear the area ans was separated from my friend... When we finally found each other and I was eating my burger I bit out a white sheet of used kleenex... I work in radio and it is my new life mission to drive your customers elsewhere... Appalling experience!

Carl's Jr. big country breakfast burrito

I visited the Carl's Jr. restaurant located at 1943 E. 17th St, Santa Ana, CA on May 27, 2018 at 08:19am. I ordered the Big Country Breakfast Burrito. When I was about half way through my burrito I bit into something weird. When I pulled it out of my mouth I found a piece of plastic packaging that was 4" long. I've attached 2 photos for you to see just how long this piece of plastic is.

Carl's Jr. drive through order

Saturday morning on my way into work, I decided since I was hungry and enjoy lunch at Carl's jr. so much, that I would go through the drive through for some breakfast. I love McDonalds sausage egg and cheese biscuit, so to my surprise, Carl's jr. had this sandwich and as a 2 for $4.00 offer. It was clearly posted on the window and offered with two other items. I drove up to the speaker and placed my order, the girl says that this was not a sandwich they have on any offer. I said she needed to look at her posted offer on the window and perhaps revisit her claim. I believe this only made matters worse as she began to argue with me, so I drove off . I will never visit this Carl's jr. again as I was already on a second chance with this store due to a past situation days earlier. I was ordering lunch and in front of me on the counter was a wallet. I ordered my food all the while hoping the owner would come back looking for it. I finished paying and ask the cashier if any one had lost a wallet? He asked the crew if anyone had lost a wallet and I said no, I found it out here on the counter. It belongs to some one who had just placed an order. He took it and gave it to the manager as they all past it around saying it looks like my wallet. The wallet had a large some of money in it. I felt so uncomfortable about this I had to call the Camarillo police to come and retreave the wallet to secure its property for the owner . I choose to eat at this restaurant because I like the food. There are many choices in the area but I go to Carl's jr. because its just better. I have now decidedafter this morning that service trumps food any day.

Hello my name is Chantalle,
I visited the Carls Jr in Tahlequah Ok, on 5/24/18 at around 1:00 pm. Upon entering the building I noticed someone was filing the ice machines (both that I later found out were completly empty). Instead of using the step ladder that was right next to him I watched a shift manger named Dakota, standing on the counter tops in dirty boots fill the ice machine. Not only did I watch him get on and off the counter tops many of times he also decided to dance on them! I was in complete disgust and disbelief that someone would do this. So I go on to order my food ( I was not greeted or anything by anyone) as I look around i notice every table was dirty as well as food all over the floors! Myself and my dad were the only people in the resturant at the time. When our order was ready the same manager brought us our food. he forcefully pushed it onto our table and immediatley left not asking if we needed anything else like condiments Ect... so, I went back up to the counter and asked for some honey mustard. I ordered the 3 piece chicken tenders, I only recieved 2, so again i go back up to the counter and i asked for another one. The gentlemen that helped me this time asked if there was a problem which I responded to asking for another chicken tender. He got me another one but said nothing to me no apology for the inconvience or anything. All in all the staff here was very unprofessional and unpleasent. I didnt get greeted upon apporaching the counter and there was not one smiling face to be seen. I use to come here quite a bit awhile back ago but after my last encounter I will not be going back . My main concern is that the shift manager is informed about standing on counter tops where customers set their food and drinks and that they keep a more clean place.

Carl's Jr in Santa Rosa nm, gone in several times and never get what I ordered. Rude customer service.After I asked for my order to be fixed and was left with another Long wait. Everytime I go in I have a bad experience and messed up order.the food is never fresh especially the fries. Something seriously needs changing in this restaurant, Carl's Jr in santa Rosa nm . Carl's Jr. tulare, california awful customer service

Went to Del taco first, card readers were down so went to Carl's Jr. tried 3 cards and they weren't working friend tried his and the lady said didn't work. We told her card readers were down across the street to. Worker was rude as [censored] asked for the drinks she handed us, that we already took drinks of, back. I will never go back if no further steps are taken. Tried telling her we had cash before she asked for them back. Ordered 40 dollars worth of food and she treated us like [censored] when your machine was [censored] up not our cards. PS get your [censored] together or get new employees who know how to handle situations like this. Went to jack in the box instead crazy situation and I know I'm one person but [censored] was outta hand.

Dear Carl's Junior, please stop the current advertisement with Matthew McConaughey. It's not funny it's not entertaining it's irritating it's Beyond stupidity. From conception to realization it's a ridiculous advertisement and only shows how arrogant and far removed from reality so-called stars are. If you decide not to remove It from radio and television, at least have the decency to hire a hitman to come and kill me and put me out of my misery!

Carl's Jr. the food I ordered

Fries were not cooked fully, onion rings were overcooked almost burnt and happy burger was not fresh. Had to throw away not worth eating didn't look good at all. Jo-Ann an employee serve that to a customer and be charged. I live too far to go back. I should have checked my food. I will not be going to Carl's Jr anymore. How many times has this happened to customers. Very unacceptable to me. For what we pay I would think they should get the order right.
