Carl's Jr. quality of menu went down the tubes

My wife and I like to go to the Hardees/Carl's Jr in Kingston NY because we really liked your burgers. We normally get you 1/3 cheese burgers and fries. We had not had a chance to go for a few weeks but got the chance tonight. First I noticed that your menu had changed. I ordered 3 cheese burgers. First off there was no cheese when I got home. #2 you now have added lettuce and tomatoes (which none of us wanted and now you don't offer without), and the onions are now slice strips (and pretty chincey on it as well) instead of diced. You use to wrap them very nicely as sort of a pocket which kept thing neat when eating. These burgers were wrapped worse than McDonalds and when I opened it up the burger was sloppily put together and the meat was half out of the bun. For $6 a burger I don't expect the quality of my meal to go down. It's a shame, especially for such a new location. Now I'll have to write you off of my list to where I'll take my family. My complaints may seem small to you but in the grand scheme of things, if enough people start feeling the way my family and I do you'll lose ALLOT of business. Don't cheap out on your patrons. THEY are the ones that will keep you in business...or not.

Carl's Jr. poor food quality and sanity

Friday Sept 1st at 6:20AM I visited store # 1100334. I ordered a medium hashbrown and a breakfast burger, no egg, on sourdough. Initially I was not informed of the $0.30 upcharge for the bread change, had I been I would have said no and gone with the regular bun. (I have never been to another store where I was upcharged for that change) Upon waiting, my burger sat there for a few minutes getting cold. Once the gentleman went to give me my food, he forgot the hashbrowns and had to check the computer to make sure I wasn't lying after I just ordered my food from him maybe 7-10 minutes prior. They were not THAT busy. Upon receiving my luke warm burger, I noticed that it had egg and NO cheese. I took it back and informed the man, he looked at me like I was crazy for asking for it to be corrected . Then the lady in the back told him in Spanish that he had told her no cheese. Upon receiving my same burger back AGAIN, it now had the reminant taste of egg, had cold unmelted cheese and was now cold. It had now been 15 minutes and I was exhausted and just needed some food before I passed out. Then partway through my burger i found a small brown hair sticking out of it. I've never had a Carl's Jr with this bad of food service and disregard for some decent service. I'll be driving the extra 5-10 miles for better quality food and service . Not

Carl's Jr. customer service

I went to this location in Manteca Ca 1489 Hulsey Way 95337 and ordered a milkshake
I explained to "Yadira" (the girl that was helping me through drive thru) that I wanted a milkshake in half Oreo and half chocolate"
She said then" it's a 35 cent charge"at the screen it said"extra charge for cheese"which was 35 cents." I asked her why is she charging me for cheese. She explained that it was a policy to charge for half and half milkshakes. Yet there is no proof on the take out screen that there's a half and half charge. I was getting charged for "cheese"
Not one to complain but this really upset me.
What happened to the simplicity of customer service and "forgetting the pickle theory." She then told me that "she won't charge me this time for it."
So as I get to the drive thru window she takes my card AND STILL CHARGES ME after telling she clearly that she wasn't going to.
Customer service was really ridiculous don't lose your touch.

Carl's Jr. employee harassment

My mom recently started working for this Carls JR and the treatment she's received from two of the employees is disgusting. The girls Natalia and Elenor refuse to help her, they roll their eyes when she asks for help, and they laugh at her and make comments like, "didn't they teach you anything?" My mom doesn't know English very well and she works hard to learn and do her job well, but the environment that these two girls have created has made it uncomfortable for her. I'm saddened that this type of behavior goes on at one of your restaurants. I thought this restaurant had an inclusive environment not only for customers but employees as well. I don't believe it's ok for these girls to continue employment at this restaurant if they are not welcoming and helpful of the new employees.

Seriously, who do you think you are? You are a sick individual. Is this how you get your kicks, slamming people? You just troll the complaint boards to slam people. You have no vested interest in any of these, yet you chime in and slam the people posting complaints. Try a dating site or another social media outlet. You seriously need help and a life for sure.

Carl's Jr. customer service

Ashlyn who works in the drive they is completely rude and disrespectful. I am never coming back to this location. She has been completely rude every time. All the other employees are nice. She gives dirty looks and rolls her eyes constantly. I'm so frustrated that I just paid for that service. I drove all the way back to get a burger they forgot to add to my order. I read my order to them in detail. They informed me that I was not charged. I realize that this could've been my mistake, I didn't check the bag before I left. She didn't charge me for a burger so I came back to buy it. Simple fix right? I just informed them that I needed another burger and Ashlyn rolled her eyes. She was rude the first time I came through for no apparent reason so I was already frustrated with her service. She slammed the drive thru window shut and her and two other girls formed a gossip circle while pointing at me. It was really unprofessional. One of the employees kept smiling at me apologetically. I feel as if Ashlyn needs some lessons in customer service or basic manners. I was shaking from frustration by the time I got home. I didn't even ask for it for free. I paid for the burger. I don't know why that is such an inconvenience to her. She probably treats the other employees horribly too.

Carl's Jr. customer service

I was in the drive thru on my lunch break at work at the gateway Carl's Jr. is where I went. Jessie was my helper in the drive thru and he just had poor manners. Should really work on customer service and be happy to have a job. My food was just thrown together with no care I was very unsatisfied. Wouldn't reccomend going to unless you wanna a sloppy burger band poor customer service

Carl's Jr. poor service and concern about money procedure

Carl's in Loves, Williams, AZ. We love Carl's but this Carl's we will NEVER return to. 20 minutes to get two hamburgers with fries and shakes...ridiculous.
1. Order went fine. Told to wait because it was cooked from scratch. Okay. Two orders in front of me.
2. Manager goes to check out an employee, pulls out the tray and there in front of an increasing line of people starts counting the money and comparing it to the tape...and apologizes to the customers watching her do this. Since when does a manager expose a lot of money to everyone and count money in public for all to see. This is a dangerous practice and should have been done in her office, literally 15 ft away.
3. In the meantime, she takes an employee off the line to do the orders for that increasing line and she now can't get fries and do shakes/drinks.
4. My order sits there and sits there and sits there and finally I make a fuss and that poor employee finally gets it and sees she hasn't made the shakes. All this time, the manager is still counting money in public.
5. I finally get my shakes 20 minutes after I start timing it, get in my car and get back to the campground (literally across the street) to find my food is cold. Now I have to microwave it.
My order was $26.02 and I had to put up with cold food after a not so "fast" food order.
Hope that was specific enough. Again, this is the Carl's in Loves, exit 163, Williams, AZ. 8/23/17 4 pm

I am writing to complain about the recent trip to Carl's Jr.
I recently went to Carl's Jr. The one I've gone to for the last five months. I've had many issues with this location, just never said anything because I too, work in the food industry and know how to deal with unhappy customers. This recent visit I came through the drive thru and waited for someone to come over the intercom and resived only static. I said hello. And got static again. So thinking the intercom was broken I pulled around to the window where I seen no one inside. So I parked the car and went inside. Where the girl with the headset was making food for another customer. Another girl comes from the office asks if I've been helped, my response, is the intercom broken? She said no. I processed to tell her I only got static. No apology. So I ordered my food and waited. Ten to fifteen minutes later the girl (headset on) making the food makes my order and puts it in the window, where the other girl working the counter dissipears. My food sat in the window for five more minutes. The girl with the headset comes around and asks if that was my order. Yes it is. Bags it and gives it to me. I said thank you, nothing back. Completely not ok with the service here. Didn't offer to make it fresh or say anything else.
Another incident I encountered that really upset me was ordering in the drive thru again, where I order and the girl repeats and everything was correct, pull to the window and a male comes to take my money and I receive the bag of food missing one item, so I go inside, tell the guy I'm missing something and he proceeds to tell me I didn't order that missing item. The girl repeated my order and everything was correct yet is didn't put it on the POS so I didn't get it, telling the guy that he just said there's nothing he could do. Something needs to change. My family really enjoys Carl's Jr. and I want a good experience and have yet to have one at the location. Thank you for taking the time to read my complaint.

I was on the road from SF to Bakersfield, and I stopped in Fresno for lunch. I was at Carl's Jr. Store on Shaw Ave. I used my iPhone to do on-line ordering. I chose a store near me and finished orderning. then I discovered the store picked for me was in King City. I aske the store manager to help me to cancel the order. The store Manger tried many times but she could not canceled. She then called the store in King City, but no answers. I called that store too. Every time I called the phone connected to fax Mancine. Robine gave me Carl's Jr. corporate office number, this number does not accept phone calls.

My ordering number in King City is [protected], with an amont of $10.88. I dont believe I should be charged with this order as I did not get the food and the system would not allow me to cancel my order. Please refund me the money $10.88. Thanks. Bonny Lay

Carl's Jr. quality, service, cleanliness

I am writing to you in regards to the Carl's Jr of Needles, CA. Store #1100768.
I've worked here a long time alongside others who have come and resigned due to it's flimsy infrastructure, management that just doesn't care, and immorally unsanitary conditions. I can't work here in complacency anymore and it's time I blew the whistle. I'm tired of myself and others being encouraged to re-sticker and re-use expired food because "it doesn't look bad". The food storage and preparation areas are in worse condition than any store I've worked to date. The apathy displayed from the top down is to blame, as time and time again aspiring crew take up the role of shift leaders and try to make a difference, only to be rejected and ignored when critical issues are brought to our supervisors' attention. Sanitised water is rarely changed properly, and the towels used to "clean" the workplace are often coated in a greasy film. The ventilation in the cook and fryer areas hasn't worked in ages so it's often sweltering hot/humid to work in. As a result, the bread and other dry storage products spoil and rot more quickly during these Summer months, yet are disregarded. The restrooms have evaporated urine on the walls that can no longer be scrubbed off, and the water has been known to backup fairly often, resulting in one or both restrooms being closed to the public. I would not like for anyone's loved ones to become ill from eating here, or even from stopping in for a restroom break.

Don't take my word for it as a disgruntled whistleblower; read the Google or Yelp reviews, or any site of your choosing.

It is well beyond time health inspection intervened. Please do something about this store before that happens!

Carl's Jr. manager at the drive thru

Hi, I never go to Carl's and was picking up some food for my father and brother. So they asked for Carl's, I went to the one located in Monterey Park, Ca off Atlantic and Cesar Chavez. When ordering at the drive thru I had to repeat myself 3 times. Then I approached the window and noticed the car in front of me drive off without his order. When I pulled up the woman there named Martha was rude and had my order wrong again. So i asked for the manager she said she was the manager and still with a very impolite and rude attitude. She wasn't pleasant nor was sorry about my order. She then left and had another gentleman assist me and ask if I needed anything? By then I was livid with how I was treated and just looked over my order after he gave it to me and drove off. If your going to have people working at your locations please train them to have a bubbly personality and better people skills. Thank you, I will never visit this place again.

I have never experienced such bad service as this one. Especially because the Manager herself was extremely rude and with no people skills. It's so upsetting that I couldn't even speak to someone above her after.

I went through the drive through at Saratoga/ Payne and was promptly told after ordering that there was no fried zucchini. A man from the Latino persuasion by the name of Johnathan informed me of this. I believe that he did not want my business and told a lie. At first he told me he could not remember the headquarters telephone number. I had to go into the drive thru two times to ask for the headquarters telephone number. Finally, he gave me the headquarters telephone number.

Carl's Jr. employee drive thru cashier

Employee was being very rude pointing fingers, yelling at me and my husband, laughing at us while we ordered, very rude. She was on drive thru as the cashier Friday night @ 8:15. Situation was over me asking for mayo on my burger, she said she wouldn't and only put it on the side. I continued to order for my husband and cut me in the middle of my order and gave me my total. I told her I wasn't done with my order I can hear her laughing while I finished my order. Another cashier I believe is the manager took the rest of my order. And at the window as we pulled up she waited, the first cashier, waited for us to come to window and began to tell us things and says she can refuse our service if she wanted to. We then cancelled our order felt so disrespected weren't even comfortable to take the food anymore scared she could have done something to it. We still were going to pay our order until she was out the window yelling.

Carl's Jr. poor management practices

I was recently re-employed as a crew member by Carl's Jr, after working at the same location 2 yrs previously. Upon arrival, I was informed that management is no longer providing name tags, food preparation guides, or employee till cards. The nametags and till cards I can live without, but the food preparation menus are CRITICAL to training cooks and there a literally none on hand in the store except for those above the prep stations. I left Carl's Jr. two years ago because I did not like the way the restaurant was being run, and am even less pleased now. I take pride in being a prompt, hardworking and pleasant employee and would like the proper tools provided so I can do my job to the best of my abilities. Please remedy this situation. I like this company, I am thoroughly grateful for the employment granted to me and would like my faith in the company redeemed.

Carl's Jr. breakfast burger

This morning I went to buy the break fast burger on a daily basis because its the closest carl's jr to our house, my burger wasn't the way I ordered and this isn't the first time it happened, but the majority of the time that I go there they have my order right, today I called to let them know that my burger was wrong, and then the GM of the store answered the call and she started to tell me "Whats wrong with your attitude" (how was I supposed to act when I was already home when I told her like three times how I wanted my burger). Then she told me that she never pleased me and that my order was so difficult to do and she said do us a favor don't come back to the store because were not gonna serve you) EXCUSE ME! IM
NOT STEALING, I'M NOT THREATENING PEOPLE, I'M NOT HARASSING NOBODY OR DOING ANYTHING BAD BUT ASKING FOR MY ORDER TO BE DONE RIGHT. HOW DARE THEY TELL ME THAT THEY WONT SERVE ME, ANYMORE THIS IS JUST RIDICULOUS. INSTEAD SHE SHOULD JUST FIND OUT WHO MAKES THE ORDERS WRONG. (It might be her because I see her making the sandwiches the most).

Carl's Jr. 2 ordered 4 for 4s bought but was a disappointment

Hey, my name is Dorothy Pemberton. Me and my friend went to Carl's Jr on barksdale at like 8pm. We ordered two 4 for 4s which was not made properly. I added mayo to my cheese burger and the other plan, The double cheese burgers was sloppy both of them. Sauce was all over the bread. So I went back to get them made plan, and was given two burgers with one patty on each one which supposed to be double cheese burgers. I'm sorry but I will no longer purchase from Carl's Jr ever again. That was disrespectful and a rip off. The BBB SHOULD BE INVOLVED...

Carl's Jr. double patty bacon cheeseburger

I recently purchased a double meat bacon cheeseburger meal from Carl Jr in south paso Robles, ca. First time trying this meal. It looked NOTHING like the picture! The meat patties were the smallest I have ever seen, there was one small ring of onion & one piece of lettuce that was the "white" tough outside leaf ;( very, very disappointed. I could not eat the burger!

Carl's Jr. numerous complaints

Hello,

1st, after readind some of the complaints, it makes nw wonder how CJR is still in business.

Here are my complaints. In the last 3 months or so, my drive thru order has been wrong twice. Both times, I was asked to pull around to the front to wait for my order. I was the only one in line, so why? The 2nd time, after waiting several minutes, an employee comes out with someones order. It wasnt mine. I waited a while longer, I went inside to ask about my order, and after telling them what it was, was handed the bag previously brought outside. After telling the girl that wasnt what I ordered she just shrugs her shoulders without saying a word. I asked "what happened to customer service?", she shrugs her shoulders again. Finally, I get the manager, who eventually straightens it out. Today, I get my order and leave, bet a few blocks away, and realize I didnt get my debit card back, or, a receit. I go back, and get both. The sign on the window says if no receit, you get a free dessert. I didnt! To top it off, I get home, and find the fries hard and dried out!

By the way, the location is 650 W. Northern Lights in Anch. Alaska.
What is going on at your stores? Wrong orders, no customer sevice, clueless employees, and a lot of very unhappy customers! You will, and probably have lost business due to these complaints. What will you do about it? Will you just shrug your shoulders and say, oh well?

I'd like to hear back from you. I would like to have a reason, and some kind of incentive to come back to CJR.

Carl's Jr. baby back rib burger

You know I had saw when you guys first brought the burger out and I always wanted to try it so late last night after a really long day at work I went to Carl's Jr on union and brundage in bakersfield Californian and it was the worst burger I've ever been served the one rings where all smashed together in a chunk the "babyback rib " was ridiculously small. Like wow I really just wasted 6 bucks on this... I didn't even end up eating it because of how poorly it was put together

Carl's Jr. poor service and wrong product

I went to the Carl's jr. For the first time in a new town I moved to. For starters kid who worked there was so rude to me at the drive up window ( I went in the drive thru). When I got home I didn't even have the right order. My hamburger was as hard as a rock the bun was dry and the tomatoes were white. I had originally ordered a jalapeno burger. When I got home I had a crusty double stuck together hard funky thing I don't even know what it was. I am so disappointed in that place. I went four miles out of my way both ways to go to this place and I am a student on a budget splurged wanting a decent Hamburger because I really like Carl's jr. Spent over $7 and I am totally disappointed. I cannot believe what a crappy place that was. I know not all fast food restaurants are the same and I know there are great Carl's Juniors out there I just cannot believe that this one is ran so horrible. I would have taken a picture of it had I known there was this site before I throw it away. :(

Carl's Jr. big chicken sandwich

Today is July 31 2017 I went to your establishment located on River Walk Dr. Riverside CA I purchased 2 of your Big chicken sandwichs and one of the chicken patties contained an foreign object in the middle of the cook piece of chicken. I instantly got sick to my stomach just from the look and the thought of how much of this I have already eaten. I had used my better judgement and instead of going straight to social media with these photos and My complaint I felt the proper way to resolve this inconvenience would to notify you in hopes you can make it right. By No means should any consumer who paid good money for any of carls jr. Products, have to get sick due to the neglegence of the food being prepared not being properly inspected.
