Airtel - Mumbai / no gprs services in my home network

I purchased a prepaid connection of Airtel because i intended to use the edge advantage that airtel provides. I got my Mobile Office services activated and initially for one month the services worked fine. After that it stopped working in my home network of Kalyan {East} as a result i was unable to access my services on my home pc. when i used to move to other area i used to get GPRS connection on my handset.

Now for the last one and a half months my services in my home network is not working. I made numerous calls to the customer care only to be given one standard reply every time that i should wait for the next 72 hours and the services will be restored. Airtel without fail deducts Rs. 7/- per day and it has charged me more than Rs. 300 so far without giving me the services.

I can't understand whom i should approach to get my problem solved. Now as a last resort i feel that the best thing to do is to give up my airtel connection.

    Airtel - Mumbai - no connectivity

    There is no connectivity in my area I have complaint to airtel executives but all in vain... They are assuring of cell site within 3 months from past 1 year... And nothing is being done... 10 complaints and yet no response... Anywhere the plans are not good as compared to hutch... No tuesday to tuesday plan like hutch no exciting plans... Airtel mumbai really sucks big time!

    I received call from “Airtel”, saying, “Your prepaid is selected for post paid, are you interested?”. I was ready so, I have submitted all documents and cheque of Rs. 599.; but sim provided by that executive is giving message “SIM not recognized”.

    From 20days I am waiting to unable my postpaid card, but till no response from Airtel. And also my cheque amount is deducted from my account and name of airtel’s vender was “AS Enterprises”.

    Please let me know, what should I do?

    Airtel - Mumbai - deactivation of vas service problem

    To: AIRTEL,

    I am a Airtel Subscriber from more than 3 years and from more than 6 months I am facing very bad services from Airtel. The subject is I asked to activate Mobile Office on my mobile it took more than 2 days to activate, and as per TAT given is 6 hrs. Its OK!!!

    And after using the services 4-5 days I Request to deactivate service and I got answers from agent is System is Down/or in upgradation, some time calls are not picked or kept on mute after picking up phone and I am doing this since 4 days I spoke with Mrudula(supervisor) Isak, Rina, Shailesh etc. so called customer care Associates first these guys don't have soft skill training how to speak with customer including supervisor and they are not maintaining customer call records to verify customer really called or not cause I got different answers from different Agents and my services are still active so who is going to pay this and headache given to me. You guys are responsible to my money and inconvenience I hope u'll take necessary action not for me but other Airtel Family Members.

    Visited Chakala / Mumbai airtel office and wanted to charge my prepaid card for an year. For the last 2 year, have been charging through credit card and today when I visited I was declined of the service. Checked with customer care and they have no idea about where I can do so. Also understand that through sms and using yr credit card the validity can be done.

    I had given a cheque in the name of Bharti Airtel Ltd to get my # 9892411836 activated to postpaid on 24th of May and have no results till now so I would like Airtel to refund the same amount of Rs 599/-back to me on the following address:

    I have activated NOP (a wap service) on my samsung x620. The charges are rs. 2/- (per day) only if you browse the wap sites. I have activated the service since more than a week but used it only for 4 days. So common sense says 8/- rupees should be deducted from my account. But can you believe it, 37/- rupees are deducted for what ? SORRY I DID NOT MAKE ANY CALLS OR SEND A SINGLE MESSAGE. The message on the screen read "your balance has been deducted for wap browsing" WHAT RUBBISH. You charge rs 7/- for broadband and 36 divided by 4 equals Rs. NINE ? JUST FOR FOUR DAYS OF WAP BROWSING ???

    I hate AirTel!!!

    Airtel is doing this on purpose they deducting my balance too I guess they are just robbers who stoop so low as to rob our cash i guess they will wrot in Hell. If you know of any way that we can get justice please let me know i got all the conversation with their call center guys recorded.

    Last 7 days my mobile's incoming network not working. Several times (7 times) I lodged complaint to customer service but everytime they says within two hours your incoming services will start. Then I rushed to Airtel Gallery. They lodged the complaint also my SIM card checked but till today my incoming services not working. Pl look in this matter.

    I have had my Airtel prepaid connection for years.

    I had my my incoming free for lifetime.For the last 3 days my connection has gone kaput. I immediately sent an sms & wrote 2 emails.

    The autogenerated response says wiil get back immediately.Still no response.

    Thought of recharging when still had balance.The recharge was accepted but still says No Service.

    Again sent email; same reply autogenerated will get back soon.

    Poor customer support; dumb people running the show.

    they should kicked beaten lynched ripped apart & butchered & fed to the dogs.

    They should not be allowed to run their services.

    Your network connectivity is very poor, overall in mumbai, specialy in Eastern Suburbs (i.e. Pant Nagar Ghatkopar (E), Vikhroli (E) Tagor Nagar &). Number of times i drops the calls. When mobile shows full coverage on display & any other calls from another mobile on my number i.e. on 9867165722, some times there is no responce & some times they receive computerrized message that the number you are dailling is switch off or busy.
    You may therefore look in the matter or other wise allow me to change the operator service with the same number

    I had my Airtel postpaid connection over the years.During my last visit to China I had a really bad experience from Airtel.Inspite of depositing 1000Rs and calling customer care many times my International roaming was not activated, poor customer support.This month from tommorow onwards i am again going to Australia, Malaasia, Singapore and Norway.Ensure me that those kind of problems shall not be faced by me this time otherwise I have to go in consumer court.You people doesnt know how much business suffers from that.

    I am Mumbai Airtel user.

    There is no GPRS service of Mobile Office nor Airtel Live only in Bhandup(Mumbai) area from 27th April 2017.We can use GPRS service in all other areas like Mulund, Kanjurmarg, Ghatkopar etc

    We have been complaining about the inactive service to 121 from 27/04/2017.

    We have also complaint to to GPRS technical Department on 30 april 2017 our ticket no. 18482653
    Please see that our complaint is resolve as soon as possible.

    I am a Airtel User from Mumbai,
    I would like to say that people if you can read this never buy a airtel connection you will repent it your entire life. I am stuck with it and cannot change my number due to professional reasons but if i could change it in anyway with the same number i would be the first and the happiest to do that.

    The most unprofessional company i have taken the services from. The Customer Care is even worst half of the time they do not have any information, and the remaining time their systems are down. Even after making the payments in cash and the payments being reflected in their systems they bar your outgoing calls. I mean what type of system is this. I just have to say this Pls People from Airtel or Bharti telecom if you are reading this shutdown your robber company AIRTEL and put a stop to the harassment to the consumers and customers.

    Its a genuine request from a troubled customer of Airtel.

    Airtel Does Provide good GPRS when it wrks. But the Airtel Customer Care is the worst in this country.
    The GPRS dep is in some other part of India and they try to solve problem which they can't.
    They don't know that in Mumbai we have Edge Netwrks.
    Its totally pathetic. Once the service failed the customer care wants me to wait for 72 hrs. but while deducting money they'll not even wait 7 min.I had to go to Lower Parel Circle office to get it started.

    Dear Sir,

    I myself an Airtel subscriber, my airtel no. is 919987634950. This no. was not in use for 4-5 months because I was in UAE. I will be returning to Mumbai in August. Kindly clarify me wether I can use the same number & what is the status of my number right now.

    I had asked for roaming facility on one of my mobile Nos. 9967012369/ 9967012379 for USA from 18th July, 2017 till 5th of October 2017. However, I am not getting any connectivity on my cell on reaching the States. Therefore, the said facility may kindly be discontinued without delay.
