I went to the drive thru and the employees were nice.
When I got home only 5 minutes away. My food was cold and just thrown in the box like trash. I eat there every week and this time the food was terrible

Poor work ethics and customer service
On 7/31/2022 we visited store 3675 in Ozark Alabama. Was told to hold on for a moment. 14 minutes later still sitting there. We decided to go in and was told the intercom didn't work. As we ordered another car arrived and the cashier answered and said now it's working. Other times we visited there the management was outside smoking at 7 pm and stated they were closed. Other times was visited and was told they had no Fish Sandwich buns and been out for 2 months. All employees have a lack-a-daisy attitude and poor customer service skills. It's a wonder why there is a sign asking for management help. Best suggestion is to Hire Management minded employees instead of turning a business over the teenagers and expect for a positive outcome. Are if this continues why not close it like the other businesses that provide poor service and move on.
Desired outcome: Train true management and provide quality service and customer service. Not just hire to keep money coming in and doors open. Times are difficult and money is tight Amagine yourself getting this and accept it as being ok.

7/29/2022 12:09 PM. when we pull to the window the young lady wouldn't speak-up .when we had to holler @ her to get her to talk louder. she then became very rude, when we got to the window to pay ,she didn't say thankyou or your welcome so my husband said very loud that they needed get better employees. this is the last time for us to go there. We will go to the one on Almaville Rd. your service sucks. we have complain three time and nothing has been done .we are told that they will send us free meal coupons. we are still waiting and it's been five months.

Captain D's 2 pc, fish dinner
I was at Capitan D's today at 6pm and I ordered 2 pc. fish dinner for my wife. When I got home my wife opened the container the first thing wrong was the fish size was smaller than normal. When my wife started eating she cut in to the fish and it was mostly breading very little fish. Also the green beans was to much pepper and very little beans. Fry was over done and hard to eat.
This is the third time with these issues.

I went to Captain D's in Perry ga. I ordered 2 3piece batter fish meals with fries and okra and a white fish meal with crab and shrimp. The orka was nasty taste old the fries and fish was cold. The girl Kesha had a nasty attitude and wouldn't refund me my money. We eat there all the time. I spent to much money to be treated the way I was treated. I had drivin 20 miles to get. I had to go spend more money to eat.
Desired outcome: I would love to atleast get my food or money back. And they need to handle the young lady Kesha.
Please do something about this before it happens to someone else. Me and wife and kids love Captain D's. We hope that we can get this matter resolved. Kesha took my receipt and threw it away she was very nasty and I think she's the manager at this store in Perry ga.
spicy fish
On 7-9-22 at store#3837/ 7690 Moffat rd. Mobile Al. I had some of the worst service from that store ever. First of all the cashier was obviously not trained properly. She did not even know of the sandwich I was trying to order. Also there is a campaign, that states free shrimp if this order is not told by cashier to you, well I got it but I paid. So that promo is a LIE! She struggle to take our order. But on her behaved she was nice and polite. The customer before us, order was incomplete, so when our order came we wanted to check it out. Yes behold! Short part of our order as well, the cook forgot to include the chicken. I looked at my spicy fish to find it over cooked to the point of having a burned taste. I ask for another while the rest of our order was getting cold. Guess what, fish still crispy and dark. I gave up. While eating it all I could say is the grease is way over used, which probably added to the burnt taste. The store needs a visit from someone that can get things right. I will not return to this store anytime soon. BK fish is better and cheaper than that crap of a plate I got. Training and customer service and a willing to do your job right is not what this location is all about. I say drive on down the rode and find food else where.
Desired outcome: Well another order done right would be the best outcome. But this complaint will just fly into the wind, Because the all about profit not service.

My husband grandbabies and I stopped by the Carlyle Ave in Belleville Illinois on July 15th about 6pm tonight. I walked in and was surprised how dirty and how it smelled. I walked to young lady to place my order and she was on her phone. I started to tell her what I wanted which was white grilled fish and shrimp skewers. She barked we are out of shrimp skewers. So I asked if I could get another piece of fish instead she said no. Picked up her phone and walked to were food was. We walked out . I always liked getting stuff from this location but we don't plan on going back anytime soon. It wasn't crowded now we know why.

07/14/22 Tuesday Captain ds 3834 @ 1:20pm on Monroe St, Tallahassee fl is terrible, I could enjoy my lunch for the free concert that the staff entertain us with. They were so LOUD I could hear my on thought. The music were not good for anyone ear to listening to. I heard one staff sing I have trust issue and the Manager where there that the worst part. then another customer came in later complaint to the Manager about their Experiment . On 07/08/22 I went to your restaurant in Lawrenceville, Ga. store 3707. First they left off an order of 2 piece fish and tea, so I had to go in to order them again in the restaurant. Then when I got the food home the food was tasteless (green beans, fish, baked salmon, fries) and was over cooked and tough. Not just the fried fish but the baked salmon as well. The tea was sour tasting and we could not drink it. We couldn't even eat it. It was the worse experience I've had there in years. Also I was very upset you discontinued serving clams.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund for my 2 purchases of $37.57 on the same day. My computer wont allow me to copy the receipts, but I can take a picture and text or email them to you from my phone.
Very Dirty. Lost Appetite.
My husband and I usually go to Captain D's in Paris, Tennessee at least a couple of times a month. We went today and the first thing we noticed was a very healthy lady that took our order. She was just very sloppy and we couldn't understand what she was saying so we eventually just accepted whatever she suggested. The counter was extremely dirty. Something was smeared on the side and lemons laying on the counter. The counter had not been wiped down in hours. [censored] had dried on top of dried [censored]. The lady brought us our dinner and as she placed our food down on the table, we noticed she had sores all up and down her arm. Mosquito bites? Not sure. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and the bathroom was awful. The floors were very dirty, garbage running over and the commodes had not been cleaned in months. There was smeared poop on the back on the commode where someone had sat to use the commode and didn't clean themselves well and it smeared on the back portion of the seat. All of this combined, we just couldn't eat, we got up and left. I couldn't very well take a photo of the lady's sores on her arm nor could I take a photo of the lady that took our order. The only good thing I can say is the lady that brought our food, the one with the sores on her arm, was very nice and polite.
Desired outcome: We spent 22.00 on our dinner. What we really want is for the store to be cleaned and sanitary. Good clean people running it.
my Order on 7/7/22
I ordered a 2pc fish and chicken with fries and mac and cheese through BiteSquad. My food was horrible. The mac and cheese was cold extremely cold. The fish was soggy and so were the fries. i paid $24+ for a meal i couldn't eat. I tried to call the store but they won't answer the phone. I would like a full refund ASAP. Dining room and bathroom not clean, food cold
My family wanted Captain D's for dinner, didn't think they were open, had to get out of the car to check door, no customers, note on the door closing early due to staff shortage, we were the only ones in there and all the tables were dirty, the bathroom was dirty! My green beans were VERY salty, and my fries were cold and stale! My fish was good and hot, but when I went to the front to talk about the fries had to yell for someone, and when I got home, I got sick from the food!
Desired outcome: Cleaning would be awesome!

Me and my wife ordered the fish and shrimp sckeFood skewers 2 sides and a large use tea x2. My 2 sides where a loaded baked potatoe and green beans my wife 2 sides where a loaded baked potatoe with Mac and cheese. First off the fish was undercooked along with the rice it set on. The sides where like they where stored in the freezer . the under cooked lemon peppered fish was too salty. The loaded baked potato was far from being what it states on the menu board or resembles anything like it's picture. The iced Tea was not iced but warm because of the lack of ice. The meal totaled out to be $31.17 in which I really didn't have to throw away due to the pandemic. Ive never done any complaint on any restaurant every but by God that store is atrocious from top to bottom . it's like they don't care about the hard earned money that the citizens bring to that store. My rating for that store would be a 0.1 out of 5* that's how bad it is and every platform on Social Media will know of this place and to stay away from that Captain Ds in Vestavia AL.

Quality of fish and incomplete order made on april 11, 2022, for $21.45
My wife and I placed an online order for a two-fish and - three fish dinner. We drove about 5 miles to the Captain D's in Dahlonega, Georgia, to pick up the order.
We noticed two things when we got home and looked at our order:
1. The three piece dinner on had two pieces of fish.
2. More importantly, the fish was not the standard batter dipped fish that we usually receive. It wasn't crispy at all.
I called the store that night and spoke with a manager who did acknowledge that the wrong fish was delivered/received from their supplier. She could only take my word that 1 piece of fish was missing.
Her only recompence was to allow me to return for one piece of fish.
I found this totally unacceptable. The fish was "yucky" and the one piece later on did not make up for our ruined dinner.
Desired outcome: At a minimum I would like two free fish dinners.

Me, my husband and our grandchildren ordered our food with captain d's online on 06/04/2022, when we arrived to pick up our order no one answered the drive through window for several minutes so we drove around to the front entrance and no one answered the bell to the front door so we waited for at least 15 minutes and a young lady waved us to the drive through window and when I walked around to the window she nor anyone else was there, Iam a heart patient with other medical issues and I stood there for another 10 minute in the sun while waiting and a man just showed up walked to the register put in a money draw and left again by this time my husband who is elderly and a medical patient got out of our air conditioned vehicle into the hot sun with me to see what was the problem and at the same time another employee arrived and we told him what we had been through. Mr. Nickolas Glen quickly apologized to us and tapped on the window for the manager to let him in to discuss the matter the manager was the same man that came to the drive through window and didn't acknowledge me being there. When Nickolas Glen tried to explain and ask Shane the manager why we were delayed so long without our order he seemed to be upset by our inquiry and told Mr. Glen to tell us we need to get back in line and re-order and we would need to pay again for our order. We were so appalled with everything that we asked him to just cancel the order and please refund our money the manager replied that we needed to take it up with captain d's head office, instead of trying to resolve the matter like a professional manager would have done.

Desired outcome: Thank you again please refund us and there should be something done about how this manager treats sick elderly people.

March 12, 2022 my family & I went to the Captain D's on Germantown Pkwy in Cordova and bought what I thought was a family pack of their famous traditional batter dipped fish. I thought they mistakenly gave us chicken. It was never told to us that they changed their fish. I think that should have been disclosed at the time of order so I can decide as a Customer if I want to buy it, instead of making it home & tasting some horrible mystery meat. Please change back then I will come back.
Desired outcome: I would like to know at the time of ordering if something that was a traditional item has changed, instead of a horrible surprise like I got.
Military discounts
I went to Captians D's twice this month and after ordering I requested my military discount, I was more than shocked that they said that I had to be in uniform to get the discount. I am retired as many of us living in Jacksonville Fl are. We don't wear or have any uniform to wear. I use to get the discount before, this policy doesn't make any sense, please explain.
