I signed up to get the capital one card and was making payments in their app in full, then one day the app gave me an error so I tried a total of 3 times and then I was locked out and had to wait for a certain amount of time to try again. But once I did I still kept getting the same error and once I called Capital one they told me that I tried to give them faulty information and I informed them that nothing on my end has changed, that I am using my only bank account and was basically told that I was at fault so when I tried to pay off the card while on the phone with the representative said that they are not able to because I am giving them faulty information. So I get a letter from collection's saying that I have 3 options to pay off this debt, so once again I give them my same bank account info and it went through with no problems so I asked for a confirmation letter stating that I paid this off in full only to be told that I would receive an email within 72 hrs and when I did get it the information for the payoff was completely wrong. So I call back and was told that they would send me a letter in the mail and it would take up to 7 days, well 7 days came and went only to have to call back and be told that they will send me another email and it'll be another 72 hrs. Once again going through the vicious cycle again!
Capital one sucks and their customer service sucks even bigger balls... why does one outsource to a company that has VERY broken english besides being very cheap!
won't do business with capital one again!
Recommendation: be very careful doing business with them
