What a decaying store Maryland and Johnson Parkway St.Paul
This store has stopped using shopping carts, unless you are one of the lucky ten. The parking lot has a police camera AND often an officer who does nothing about the pan handlers or people parking in the handicap slots ir in the fire lane. People eat their way through the store so check the lids on everything you buy. Shoving food into your coat or just walking out with it is common. What an embarassment for the neighborhood and the East Side of St. Paul.
Recommendation: Don't plan on shopping for much here, unless you like the circus.
Not interested in my business - strange business model
I called a local Cub Foods to inquire about getting 5 dozen donuts in the morning tomorrow. I was told, rudely, that I missed the window to put the 'order in'. I asked if I could stop by now to pick up 5 dozen and if they were available that would be fine for me. I was told (with a laugh), 'well that might be convenient for you but it sure isn't convenient for me if you take all of the donuts'. Confused at this type of response and isn't selling the donuts the idea in the first place? I took my business and money elsewhere.

Gas Rewards
Hello. I have had problems using my Cub Rewards at the gas pumps at the Holiday Stations. Before you say, go into the store itself to use the rewards, I have mobility problems so I use the pay at the pump option.
When I have complained to Holiday about the rewards not working at the pump, they tell me to call Cub and Cub tells me that I need to talk to Holiday!
I shop at Cub foods because I like shopping there and I like to earn the rewards for money off at the pump, for one thing.
Please fix this!

Cub Foods Liqours, Plymouth, MN
Rockford Road Cub Foods Liquors (store #1666) in Plymouth, MN profiles customers of color. I'm a doctor and still have to put up with this kind of behavior, every time I've shopped there. The liquor store employees see only color. And, appear to be coached to do so. I have always been followed, from aisle to aisle, for years. Several times my debit card...

November 23rd and 6:00pm I was at the Mankato west cub foods on riverfront shopping for a few things for the 2nd time that day. He said because of a tattoo I have on my body. He was calling be a Nazi...

Services are the poorest i’ve seen at this cub foods store
It’s 4:30 pm and I’m really wondering if I want to go to this Cub foods store (1177 Clarence St
Saint Paul, MN 55106). And I tell myself maybe it will be good today? But I was definitely wrong! Just like always, never have enough checkers and the check out lines are way too long. I didn’t come to Cub foods to save money on anything because that’s not why I shop there. I go there because it’s close to my place. And I just grab whatever I need and go straight to the check out. And again, the checkout lines were rediculous! I mean does this store have a shortage of workers? Or maybe it’s because people just don’t wanna go to work. And I have been going to the other Cub foods out in Maplewood off of white bear and Hwy 36. And the staff there seems to be always good. Not only that, the staff there is much more polite compared to the store by my house (the one I’m complaining about). This time I really have to calm down and not get all worked up again. And I’m one of the most patient people out there. But I’m very sorry to say that I’ve had enough of unpleasant experiences at this Cub foods. Lines are always long, staff is always short, and you guys have people in all the wrong places. For example, the lady at the customer service line? She couldn’t come help out with all the people in the long lines because she only had two customers. And then she made off like a magician. And these loss prevention guys; they gotta be the most useless guys ever because they are either on their phones playing games or taking up the cashiers time by socializing. I’ve seen theives grab things and walk out and as I look over to let someone know; I’m like never mind; they seem too busy with their phones that I wonder how many people they do catch. Even your kitchen staff sucks now because all the chicken today were soo burnt it looked like tar roasted chicken. And J get why they do that because 8 out of 10 times that I buy a rotisserie chicken there, it always too raw and bloody on the inside. Nevertheless, over cooking the damn bird so it black as tar is t gonna help. Honestly, I’ve had a few instances where the staff is either too gansta and can’t help me or too clueless and can’t. Whatever it is with Cub foods, I have made a decision to never shop again at any Cubs. Because I can’t believe whoever is in charge of this store can’t get it together. And I get it. Half the damn customers are ghetto as hell. People always out front asking me for money each time when I leave the store. I’m gonna go and start shopping only at Target now. I will say this, I don’t mind paying a little a extra for the same items I can get cheaper at Walmart and Cubs. It seems almost all
The customers who go there don’t mind paying more just as long as all the Ghetto people who can’t afford to go there isn’t gonna be there. And never once have I ever had an issue at Target whatsoever with anything. And why is it Target can effectively have enough checkers at the register to get you in and out. Note; Also Targets curb side pickup is very effective as well. I use that every other day. Sometimes even two times a day. And I don’t mind Target employees at all because they seem very knowledgeable and pleasant with a professional attitude. But thank you Cub foods for helping me make my decision and going to Target for everything now. I don’t even mind the extra travel because it makes up for all the other things that makes grocery shopping or anytype of shopping unpleasant. I get what Target is doing; I’ll spend more money at Target just to not deal with all the drama of Ghetto customers and their lack of workers. Shopping should be quick and easy. Not long and unbearable. At least I have a choice where I want to spend my money. And Target is my new store. Because Cubs isn’t getting any better. I bet that Cub foods store I’m complaining about has all the worst ratings of all their stores. And I see why.
Claimed loss: My time!
Desired outcome: Get a store manager who cares about the place so the store can have enough checkers and fire all the other people working there such as the loss prevention people l. They look like thugs and theives them selves
Stamps for the kitchenaid products
I have been saving these stamps that have been printed on the bottom of each receipt and the ones the cashiers give you since it started in July 2023.When I have asked for stamps, the cashiers have told me they are on the end of the receipt, and never offered the blue stamps. I had one cashier that actually gave me blue stamps, and I noticed there were none on the receipt? So, I have had 2 cashier's give me the stamps, and others tell me they are on the receipt. Well, Here is my dilemma, I have cut out and attached the receipt points from the bottom of the receipts to the saver card sheet and went to redeem them. I was told that you need the entire receipt in order to redeem, and by attaching the points from the receipts, they are not valid? Are you kidding me? We have spent all this money to receive one or two kitchenaid products only to tell us the stamps printed on the receipt are not valid and you need to trade them in for the blue stamps? NO WHERE does it say that anywhere in the terms and the cashiers told me that they are on the receipts? I spend what I can as I am only on Social security. The stamps on the receipts tell you to attach them to the saver card which is what I did, not exchange them. I am Beyond upset about this and doing my part as the directions state. No where does it tell you to redeem them for the blue stamps ANYWHERE. They will not trade the stamps from the receipts for the blue stamps because they said I needed the entire receipt to verify the points? What is going on here? I want them to exchange the paper stamps for the blue stamps so I can get what I payed/saved up for, for this kitchenaid item. I am almost 70 and feel like I am being taken advantage of. The employees need to be all on the same page when doing promotions. Please Help.
This is a multi million dollar company and I am just one senior citizen, so I am hoping they will honor the paper stamps or exchange them for the blue stamps. My email is : [protected]@aol.com and my name is Dawn
Claimed loss: spent lots of money to redeem points for kitchenaid product to be told they are invalid.
Desired outcome: I want them to exchange the paper stamps from the receipts for the blue stamps since I'm being told they are not valid. I cannot add any pictures as I don't know how, but I do have the sheets to show.
They switched out the points at the bottom of the receipt, for the blue receipts. They are hoping that corporate will word it a little differently stating those receipts need to be exchanged.
I’ve collected the stamps and have my full cards but I’m unable to redeem them for cookware because the stores are out of product. What a joke! If you’re going to have a promotion you should have the product available. I have 2 more days to try to get my pan and I’m very doubtful that I will succeed since I’ve been to two different stores on multiple occasions to find the Kitchenaid displays empty. I’m going to switch to Aldi.
Same for me. I asked the cashier how do I get my free stuff, he said just walk over to that shelf and pick out anything you want and bring it back to me and I will take care of it. I said the shelf is empty! He said ya I know looks like your getting nothing and all stores are out! Makes me mad enough to boycott Cub!
The pharmacy at Broadway Cub in Minneapolis
On October 11, 2023 I called the pharmacy at 910am while my partner was headed to pick up my prescription to see when it was ready. The person was incredibly rude, said it would be an hour, when I politely asked if it could be sooner because I needed to go to work but have an infection that needs antibiotics, and they said maybe 45 mins. They then yelled at my partner saying I had just called and they told me it wasn't ready. I hadn't reached him yet bc I was helping my toddler in the bathroom by my infected self. They yelled at other customers on the phone telling them not to come bc their prescriptions weren't ready. And then when my partner who has adhd was mindlessly tapping his finger on a shelf while waiting, the pharmacist yelled at him that he was distracting her and needed to stop tapping his finger immediately. This is the worst experience we've ever had, and we will not be returning to cub pharmacy nor grocery after this, and will recommend the same to friends, families, and the online communities we are a part of as a sports caster, trivia host, and educator.
Desired outcome: Train staff on customer service skills, or at very least, expect them to be courteous to people.
Gift card
I had purchased a $60.00 Apple Gift Card for my granddaughter. It had been activated but when she went to use it wouldn't work. I took the card to The Cub Store where I purchased it. I was instructed to call Apple Support. I sat down on the bench and called Apple. The Apple support had me read numbers of the card. I was told that card had not been used and...

the head of the loss prevention at the cub foods at 1177 clarence st in St Paul MN 55106 is himself a thief he is always stealing from the meat department and taking whatever he feels like taking that day not only does he steal whatever he wants he also sell's drugs to most of the employees , also if you pay Conrad $100.00 he lets you push your cart full of food right out the door as he looks the other way i have informed the store director "Hurby McDaniel" of this but because the 2 of them are friends he also looks the other way. Conrad Holscher is a disgrace to cub foods and shows zero leadership skills to any and all other cub food employees. i am an employee at the same store and see this on a day to day basis
Desired outcome: Conrad Holscher should be fired on the spot ...

Gas rewards - assistant manager - Billy
I have been going to the Cub Sun Ray store for 25 years with no serious complaints until today. We were shopping on 6/17/23. I was grabbing some chips to buy and this was on the shelf, a mouse catcher and mouse droppings on the shelf. I quietly told the first employee I seen, she said OK, I'll take care of it. Waited she never came back so I told 2nd employee. Nothing was done. So before going to the check-out with only pop I refused to purchase the food. I went to look and Nothing was touched. So I took a picture, and showed the man at the register after asking if he was Management. Then left disgusted.
Desired outcome: Clean it up and contact a pest control company.

I went through self-check-out at the Lakeville Heritage Cub Foods. There were only 2 of 4 working which is common of this cub foods. After purchasing my items, I was waiting for a receipt and the salesperson running the self-checkouts, waiting behind me, asked me if I needed a receipt. I said, "yes please". She put paper in and was trying to get the receipt...

I was just shopping in Bloomington,MN. The self serve register could not identify a red onion from it's barcode. Standing there with money out is the last place I would expect some quire fruitcake to come running towards me. This whole situation was caused by the defective software and fingerprint readers recently installed. I have the right to defend myself with whatever force necessary. You will be both civilly and legally LIABLE for the inevitable consequences. Your Leftist Political Agenda is going to COST YOU.
Desired outcome: CONVICTION
Sure, you can remove all self service registers. That wouldn't be discrimination but restricting them to "credit card only" putting private personal data into your database IS. Really, asking for my membership to the Chinese Communist Party is insulting. My personal information is NOT for sale. So Stop Asking. Target and Bud light got the warning. Are you going to put your investors at risk.
Public parking/bike security
I live within 2 miles of this store. To save on fuel, I will commute with my bicycle to the store. The services the store offers to cyclists is of poor quality. Hello I’m a professional instacart shopper, and on four or five different orders I’ve taken at the 1540 New Brighten store I have been discriminated against because of color, and hair and ask for ID to purchase cooking wine on one occasion and the next time a different cashier tells me I don’t need one. Deliveries to 9006 Neill Lake Rd. are made in boxes even though I repeatedly request bags, they continually send groceries in boxes -which are too heavy for me to carry in -disgusting lack of caring about any complaints -very poor management with little concern for customer issues -guess I'll be usingl Aldi- in the future- and saying a complaint is too short is dumber than dirt -really stupid -who made this ridiculous decision?
Desired outcome: Deliveries made in bags as REQUESTED not boxes - you say this is too short?? What else would you have me say?? Dumber than dirt to want lengthy commentary -and why say it's optional when it isn't?? You need a new webmaster-
