Burger King extremely rude burger king manager

It is June 18, 2011. Around 6 pm, my husband and I decided to have Burger King in Holmen Wisconsin. Upon pulling up to, the drive thru a male started to take our order. As my husband was trying to order#4, whopper jar. Value meal, with no pickle or onions this male, Cal something, interrupted my husband while still in the process of ordering. Cal very rudely stated small, medium, or large and what do you want to drink. My husband nicely asked him to please let him finish his order. Cal became even ruder with his tone of voice and told my husband that he did not interrupt. My husband told him to cancel the order.

As we drove by the window, one person gave us the middle finger. Upon this action, we drove around the building to get the person’s name, Cal something, and the manager's number. I entered to building to find the crew laughing it up until they noticed me standing there. I asked him to write down his name and the general manager’s name. He was even ruder upon this request and ran to the back of the kitchen, retrieved the phone, and made a few phone calls before coming back out. As he is on the phone leaving a message for the general manager, Jesse Hess. He refused to write his own information down. We have tried calling Jesse several times and he has refused to return our calls. We have had a previous encounter with this store but put it off to being a busy time of the day. Today, however the establishment was completely empty of customers, also no one was behind us or before us in the drive thru. He had no reason to be so rude and unprofessional.

As I was leaving the store I told him he would be hearing from us and he stated that "i highly doubt It." As a manager myself, this behavior would not be tolerated in any manner. Customer service is the key to any company, without it, you have no customers and no business.

Tasha you are so gullible and would fall for everything. This never happened. My wife is a Mcdonalds manager and was hoping that if people thought that managers from Burger King was rude that they would go to her restaurant instead.

Burger King poor management practices

I entered the drive through at Burger King located at 17524 Meridian East, Puyallup, WA. I was asked to wait before giving my order. I waited for three minutes. I gave my order and I was advised to move forward for payment. I paid for my order and I was given my two drinks and asked to park in front of the business for my order. I waited in my vehicle for approximately ten minutes. I went into the business and stood by the counter. I saw one male at the drive-up window and one female at the front counter filling orders, taking walk-in orders and carrying orders out to customers to waiting in their vehicles (3).The female working the counter appeared to be in training. In the restaurant there were customers at three tables for an estimated eight bodies. Only one of the tables had been servied food. There was a couple waiting inside the restaurant for a take out order.

I was in the restaurant for approximately twenty minutes when the female at the counter as me the nature of my order for the second time. I answered her (I order two chicken sandwiches, one order of french fries and onion rings). Only then did she start filling my order. Upon receiving my order I was advised that there was no ketsup or mustard. I went out to my vehicle with the order and my wife told me that the order was WRONG! It appears the management did not have enough employees to properly operate the business to fill the orders of the customers in a timely manner.

While I was there there was a total of eight orders and I waited thirty plus minutes to receive my order. Nor did the management stock the business properly to run the business. All I received when I was given my order was, "sorry you had to wait." I heard the female working the counter say that no less than six times while I was waiting for my order.

Burger King toilets

i visited burger king in union street Swansea whilst Christmas shopping with my 5 year old niece. she was absolutely starving, very cold and bursting for the loo. before ordering food i asked if she could go to the toilet, we were told no you need to order first. as far as I'm aware its not illegal to use the toilet in a food restaurant where you intend to eat. i asked if i order the food, use the loo then pop back to collect our food would that be OK. again we were told no we had to wait for our meal, leave it at a table and use the unique code for the toilet door which was on the receipt. i was absolutely appalled and disgusted as by now my niece had almost wet herself and being only 5 cannot wait. i ordered the food, paid, took it to my table then took her to the loo. I'm so disgusted by this i will never return to any burger king ever again. i understand they do not want the toilets open to the general public, but for god sake i was willing to pay for our meals, and collect them after the loo, where is the harm in this.

Also this post may be down the toilet, but the niece's pee almost did not make it down the toilet due to poor planning and a hot head employee.

Look I don't need a lecture from you all on how to take care of my niece. Who are you to lecture me. Also whose side are you on Anonymous4Ever, first you say they were wrong and then you claim both of us were at fault. How is this my fault. You try shopping at Christmas rush and see if you have time to take a young child to the washroom. Okay she did ask me a few times to go to the washroom and I told her to hold it in I was almost done. Then I forgot and she told me on the car ride to Burger King that she had to go. I got mad at her and asked her why did she not tell me after I finished paying, she said she got did but I would not listen. She almost wet her pants and I told her how shameful it was that at five she could not remind me that after we paid that she had to use the washroom.

I love that you assume I was 'fired' when I actually moved on to a better job, Tasha4. I actually did not work for that specific franchise either, so get your facts straight before you accuse other's of where and whom they work for.

Furthermore, it is the fault of both parties in this occasion but you are not helping anyone for playing the blame game and pointing fingers. Yes, the child is the victim in this as they suffered but why are you being so defensive over a situation you never dealt with personally?

I am familiar with the Burger King on Union Street as I know the management actually working there as an Ex-Employee myself, I sympathize with the fact you had a small child with you and after purchasing food, should of been given the receipt immediately.

Did you ask the management for the receipt at all? I know for certain they cannot deny you a VAT receipt upon request, as it only takes one push of a button as long as the food was purchased. From your post, it seemed as though you only asked a member of staff whom perhaps did not know what they were doing. I agree, that is no fault of yours that you have the inconvenience of being told 'No'.

Keep in mind, chains like this have a high-turnover rate of staff and most of them have no clue what they are doing. 'Gentle' persuasion by asking for the manger sometimes keeps them in line or even teaches them what to do in future. Had I been serving you on this day, I wouldn't of hesitated of printing off a receipt for you to use the toilet the very moment you had paid. Sorry to hear you disliked your experience.

Burger King new milk shakes/rude manager

I have been taking my daughter to Burger as a special treat to get Strawberry milk shakes for the past 12 years. She is allergic to a lot of foods, but since you used syrup instead of real strawberries she is OK. I took her today, 12/27/11. I ordered 2 strawberry milk shakes. When she set them on the counter with chunks of strawberry in the plastic/see threw cup, Nicely, I asked her if I could get my money back because my daughter could not have it with real strawberry. She got the on duty manager and he told me "NO", that this is what I ordered so there was no refund. As I walked out I threw them in the trash untouched. I paid $7.00 for trash. This is not right. If I would have know you changed the recipe, I would have bothered. Plus most little kids don't like chunks of fruit in milk shakes...

Burger King worst service at burger king restaurant

I just went to Burger King and waited at the drive thru speaker for about 15 minutes behind two cars, who were also waiting. There was one car sitting at the actual window waiting on food. I was looking for a way to exit when the cars started to move forward. I reached the ordering speaker, stated my order and pulled forward. I reached the window where I was to pay for my food and they had over charged me I felt. My store number was 15180 and my check number was 1594 at 8:58, 20Dec11.

I will not go into the money details, because it was fixed, but my problem was the food. My sandwich was so greasy that it was a big dough ball, dripping with grease or moisture or something so bad that I did not eat it. My hashbrowns were soggy and my “value drink” was half full. My solution, I drove to McDonalds and bought a new breakfast. You all should seriously take a look at this Burger King. It is on a military installation feeding our troops and their families.

Shouldn’t the food quality be decent? Lunch is better than the breakfast, but the breakfast service and food is the worst in the area.

Burger King disgusting!! shame on them

This morning on the way to work I stopped at the McLearn Square Burger King in Herndon, VA to get my usual Breakfast Bowl and coffee. I went inside because it usually takes too long to go through the drive-through. After waiting several minutes inside for someone to take my order (not unusual for this store) I asked for a Breakfast Bowl and coffee. I was curtly informed that “We don’t have that any more.” I then suggested that someone take down the huge poster in the window advertising the Breakfast Bowl and then informed them that I was going to go to McDonalds.

I don’t know if BK is not making enough profit on the Breakfast Bowl or if you guys are just trying to drive customers to McD’s. Why don’t you try taking some Marketing classes at McDonald University. I am sending a copy of this complaint to my son and asking him to post it on his facebook and tell all of his friends and I plan to do the same here at my huge Federal Government office. “Long live the Hamburgler”.

This is pretty much the only Burger King in the area, so it’s not like we can go to a different one! The employees have been absolutely horrible, and unfriendly at this location. They barely even say anything to the customer! You are suppose to order your food, they tell you how much, then when you pull up to the window, they stare at you and you’re expected to hand them the money. Majority of the time, you have to pull to the side because your orders not ready!

Really? This is suppose to be fast food, I shouldn’t wait more than ten minutes for my order! Especially when it’s ONE meal! The food is awful as well! The fries have been undercooked (not heated thoroughly) the chicken sandwich made me sick, since it was 90% breading 10% chicken, it was DISGUSTING! Shame on Burger King!

Burger King double charged on debit card purchase

I was double charged on my debit card by the manager of the casa view shopping center mcdonald's in dallas that I used to buy breakfast from several times per week. The amount of the overcharge was 8.53. Unfortunately, I didn't save my receipt. I still appealed
To mcd's website to compalin about it. They told me, "no receipt, no refund." they would not even consider looking at my bank statement that showed the double billing, and also the factual evidence that I used to buy breakfast there several times per week. Based on other complaints i've read about mcd's that are similar to mine with regards to double billing credit/debit card transactions, I believe that they are intentionally ripping people off! Think about it, - how often do you save your fast food receipts in an effort to make sure you're not double billed? I won't go back, but mcdonalds doesn't give a sh* anyway, so I guess i'll have to go about getting my $8.53 like this. hahaha, you can't do anything without a receipt these days, but ya they should have seen the bank billing statement that WAY better then any old receipt, but it kind of depends on the cashier, I work in McDonald's and I hate that place the cashier usually double when their just working or had just done a 8 hour shift, so behalf of the ### company i work at I'm sorry this happened too you.

Burger King discrimination and set up

Yes every since December 2009 my manager has been trying to get rid of me cause she found out I'm mixed with black when she found out she said and I quote I feel so sorry for you she's been trying to get me to quit by dropping my schedule from 37 hours a week to 10 hrs a week some times she wouldn't even schedule me I've truer hanging in there trying to prove how good a worker I am but didn't work ok she's written me up for my drawer being short a couple of times I was even suspended but I should not held accountable for the fact that there suppose to count my drawer in front of me and they would refuse to and that's the law but a couple times my drawer came up short was when the manager said go head and go home I'll count your drawer at the end of the night I refused and he threaten to write me up for insubordanation so I left but when I told my distric manager about it she refused to check the camras this last time I came out short the manager had my write up written before she counted my drawer and when I tried to watch her count my drawer she shut and locked the office door then came out saying my drawer was twenty bucks short she said I can quit or get fired I didn't want to be fired so I quit but there's a lot of wrong that was and still is going on this last time I was short when she gave me the choice to quit or be fired was on 6/4/10 but I think I should have been held responsable and all of the manager smoke pot on the job and that should not go unpunished. I know It descrimination the was not happening until my boss found out I'm mixed she wouldn't even investigate all that went on but I have a lot of people who will witness for me somthing needs to be done seriously.

Burger King whopper combo

I went to Burger King #4431 located at 1555 Montgomery Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35216 on [protected] and ordered a Whopper, Large Fry and Large Drink at the Drive Thru. Once I drove back to work I started eating my meal and I noticed that the Whopper seemed unusually small. I then noticed that I was given a Whopper Jr instead of what I ordered.

I called the store later that day no one would answer the phone. I had waited to call because I didn’t want to interfere with their lunch rush.

I returned to the restaurant on 11-10-2011 and asked to speak with the manager. I showed the manager what had happened and told her that I wanted them to give me the correct order.

I was told that since I had ate the food that they would not replace it. The Manager told me that it was Burger King Policy not to replace food that had been eaten. She told me that I should have called them to let them know what had happened. I showed her my cell phone where I had called the restaurant at 4:26 the day before.

After arguing with her she finally told me that she would give me a Whopper and a small fry and small drink. I told her that was NOT my original order and that it is standard procedure to make the original order correctly (I have worked in fast food before).

NOTE: The correct procedure that Burger King should have used was by first saying the following "I apologize for the incorrect order and the inconvenience it has caused you. Let us make it up to you by making you the correct order"

I then called the Burger King Complaint line and had to hold on it for 15 minutes before I got a representative. The representative took my complaint, apologized, and told me that it would be forwarded to the district office.

I have wasted time, money, and gas trying to get this resolved. Now I am so furious that I am not planning on ever going back to them again and I am going to tell everyone I know about the experience. This includes postings on Facebook, Twitter, and any consumer complaint board I can find.

Burger King spends millions on advertising and building its brand and reputation. It is amazing that they care so little about protecting their reputation that they wouldn’t spend as little as $7 to do the right thing. For every one customer that complains there is at least 20 more that never do but instead they just take their business elsewhere. If Burger King is happy losing customers then continue doing what you are doing. If you want to keep customers loyal then please train your managers on how to handle this type of situation without resorting to arguing with the customer. Remember that Rule #1 is that the customer is always right.

I am asking all consumers that the next time that you are going to Burger King that instead you should go to one of their competitors instead.

It is not standard procedure to comp a whole meal when one item is incorrect. There is no such rule that the customer is always right. It was a phrase, a slogan, not a rule.

Burger King drive thru 1 free coupon per car, not per person

I had purchased 3 $1 booklets containing free coupons (no purchase necessary to redeem coupon) valid Oct thru 12/31/11. Yesterday 10/15/11 went to drive up with 2 other people in car and placed order for 4 burgers (would be paying for them) and 3 free fries (would use coupons for them). Was told I could only use 1 coupon, I told him again there were 3 people in the car, he said it didn't matter I could only get 1 item. I said we would get them if we came in so why not at the drive up, he said "then come in" I told him I was handi-capped" which I am I use 2 canes. he said he could only give 1 item at the drive up. I told him to cancel my order I would be contacting their corporate office to complain. I then went to Wendys. I was going to send Burger Kings Corporate office an email but per their website it looks like I can only call in my complaints and that has to be done Mon-Friday (and other disapointment).. So I will call them Monday.. I'm so PO'ed that I don't plan on going to BK again, there are plenty of competitive Fast Food places around here... I also plan on telling everyone I know about my experience... Very bad business practice.. It should not matter if I'm in a Car or inside the same rules should apply...

Burger King flirty casher in burger king

About 10pm, I went through the drive thru at the Talladega Burger King and encountered the cashier, named Angela. Angela seemed to be attracted to me, or my car, and she proceeded to shamelessly flirt with me, and my friend while we were waiting for our food. My friend and myself are married to a couple of wonderful ladies, which we told her, but she was relentless and continued to shamelessly throw herself at me, or us. She said the wife would not have to know, it would be our secret.

If this was a full service restraunt, and we were eating in, I would almost understand a little flirting in order to get a bigger tip, but this is a drive thru. If my wife should hear of this, there would be no way we would eat there again, as it is, I plan to go elsewhere for my burgers.

I would think there is some form of protocol cashiers follow, and I am positive that her actions, and words were over the top. If I was in need of sex talk, I guess I would call a 900 phone line, but I am not in need in such talk. I did not enjoy this experience, and will not return to that drive thru. If Angela wants or needs to prostitute herself out for sexual fulfillment, she might want to try a street corner, not a Burger King drive thru.

Burger King hygiene

I went into burger king at aldgate to purchase some food and use their restroom. Howevern I was told I could not use the ladies toilet. I had to use the disabled toilet next to kitchen. The condition the toilet was in was appaling, children in third world countries have better sanitation. The toilet itself was cover in excretment and it was all over the toliet seat and as well as urinem the toliet smelt awful and it looked as if hadn't been cleaned in a long time. There was no toilet paper and no running water. I can't believe a company as big as burger king can not uphold satisfactory standards. I can't believe the staff are oblivious to this dirtyness and can't smell it in the kitchen.

Writing about this kind of low-level issue on Complaints Board is not the best way to "get something done" with the Burger King in your local area. Be proactive. Did you talk to the management at Burger King? Did you talk to the manager yelling at his employees? Let him know you think his behavior is unacceptable and that you don't want your children subjected to that kind of negativity. (If it was me I'd add something about his managing tactic, that's it's inappropriate and ineffective to yell at his employees!) Do this, I'm sure it will embarrass him and he will stop.

Burger King product & service

My complaint is for the store located between Union and Platte. I'd ordered their cini-minis and their new blueberry mini biscuit. As soon as I got home, I opened the bag just to find out the food I was served were BURNT! If I wasn't 20 miles away, I would have turn around and return the products.
The store in Nevada and Cheyenne Blvd on the other hand, the problem was a loudmouth cook who couldn't keep it's mouth shut. From the time I was ordering my food, could hear from the background, until I left, after getting my order, I can still hear the cook BAD mouthing.
Is BK is so desperate to save money that they hired anyone from a ghetto? It seems BK is willing to sacrifice service over money. The store in Union and Platte had already history of complains regarding their service. BK never addresses this issue to them because they are so busy making money.

Update by BK SUCKS!
Aug 23, 2011 3:48 pm EDT

I guess again I'm too dumb to know that I should have gotten a code from BK. HINT: 20 miles. The person I spoke to told me to come back and they'll replace it. Let's talk about ignorant. $3.36/gallon is the lowest gas price I'd seen. I get a little over 19mi/gal. Now multiply that twice for a mere $3 food. If you didn't get that $7.72 v $3, not including wear and tear and traffic. Hmm, who's ignorant now. It's easy to jump on someone rather than using common sense.

I guess, I am too dumb too not knowing BK can exchange my burnt order over the phone. How can a BURNT food sticky? I guess hum-d is too busy playing with itself commenting this complaint. For frank neck furter, you
must be in denial or brainwashed. There are just as many FAT people live here as any other states. For all I know, these worthless responses are coming from the ones who worked for BK disguising themselves like a thug. You don't have too. It really shows!

So you did call Burger King. Why didn't you mention that earlier? It seems like you are changing your story! You do not have to go back straight away; you could redeem the code next time you are in the area.

You are acting very ignorant at the moment. The point of calling the store is not to get the order replaced over the phone, but to alert the manager or other store representatative that there is a problem. You may have got a code number which you could use to get a replacement order next time you visit the store.

Burger King this is the nastiest burger king I have ever been in in my life

We went to go eat here on September 15 and before I ordered I had to use the restroom and noticed it we not very clean. in fact it had not been properly cleaned in some time. then we ordered and we went to set and noticed most of the tables had not been wiped off. They were not very busy they were playing in the back and having a good time and they need to be cleaning. this is the nastiest burger king I have ever been in in my life. I will not go there again.

@krispix318: no ###. why do people like you always post this same comment on nearly every complaint? it's like saying the sky is blue, or the earth is round. if people simply did what you suggested, this site wouldn't exist and you'd be out of a hobby.

Perhaps complaining to the restaurant and/or the office running the restaurant would be more effective than an anonymous website. Also, your feedback might be taken more seriously if given immediately and not almost a year later. Just throwin' that out there.

Burger King rude order taker and manager

I just had the worst experience I’ve ever had at a BK and I’ve eaten at BK since they first opened and in mores states then I can remember!

I went thru the drive thru at 9:50pm and started my order with a Bacon Cedar Ranch Tendercrisp sandwich meal. I asked for a medium with a Coke. From the drive thru speaker I hear a young lady (her name was Page)say, “that will be a 10 minute wait!” I said that was fine. I then ordered a kids chicken meal with a coke and ketchup, a double cheese burger with a coke icee, an ice cream cone and an A1 Steakhouse sandwich and again I hear “that will be a 10 minute wait!” Both times it seemed as if she was trying to discourage my choice of sandwiches.

I pulled up to the drive thru window, paid for my meals, got the icee the child’s coke and I had to ask for the ice cream. I was then asked to move up to wait for the rest of the order.

After waiting, a young lady brought the food to the car and I noticed there was no medium coke or French fries for the Tendercrisp meal. I looked and it wasn’t on the receipt so I told her even though it wasn’t on the receipt I had ordered it. I told her I would be happy to pay for the coke and fries but I needed them for my order. She took the receipt and headed in to the restaurant. At that time I noticed there was no ketchup in any of the bags so I had my son go in to the restaurant and get some.

The girl returned with the young lady, (Page)from the drive thru window and informed me that I could get fries but I would have to pay for the coke.

I started to get frustrated at this time so I told her to keep the fries but I want the coke. I backed up to the drive thru window and as she handed me the change from the Coke purchase I said, “it would be nice to go thru a drive thru and get the order right, just once.”

As she turned away she said “if you didn’t have such a big order this late there wouldn’t be a problem.”

I couldn’t believe my ears! I tapped on the window and said “excuse me?” she didn’t respond so I tapped harder and repeated myself. She opened the window and I asked her what she said and she didn’t answer.

I asked, “are you kidding me? Are you telling me that 3 sandwiches 1 kids meal, and an ice cream is too big an order for the drive thru?” I asked to see the manager.

After I explained to the manager what happened and about her smart remarks he said “I’m sorry you feel that way”. Again I was dumb founded! Now I’m being told that my feelings aren’t what he considers appropriate? I asked him if “my feelings” had anything to do with it! I told him that I don’t understand why this is too late to expect a meal at the drive thru and the young lady (Page) said “we have to make food fresh at this hour”. I asked “10:00pm is late? The drive thru is opened until 1:00pm at this store…”

I DON’T UNDERSTAND! WHERE DO YOU FIND THESE PEOPLE? DOES ANYONE GET TRAINED ON HOW TO HANDLE CUSTOMERS, INCLUDING MANAGERS, OR DO YOU FOCUS STRICTLY ON GETTING THE MONEY?

The store in question: Burger King #[protected] E. Market Street in Warren, Ohio

The girl at the drive thru, that made the “if you didn’t have such a big order…” comment: Page

The manager on duty: Chris

The store manager (I haven’t spoke to her yet): Linda

BTW… In my opinion, BK screwed up when they switched from Pepsi to Coke and now you sold out on chicken nuggets. The chicken nuggets taste like the crap they sell at McDonasty. When are you putting up the golden arches?

Sure, the employees acted like [censored]heads but what do you expect? They're kids for god's sake. They do ### work for peanuts. If anything the manager on duty should have at least taken down her details and filed his own report.

Burger King racism

Dear Sir / Mam,
My name is Firas Omar. I visited Burger King, Earls Court branch in London on the 26th of June 2011. on the premises we chose - Unfortunately- to dine in that place for its reputation around the world. i asked to have The Angus meal because i know it dosent come with bacon at all. the reason is that my my diet dosent allow my to consume bacon( proudly im Muslim). more on that, i asked the manager on that shift if it has any bacon on it and she replayed that such sandwich dosent come with bacon at al. based on such confirmation i made my choice to have some. when i was asking the manager about the bacon, one of the staff was listening and laughing. she asked him why you are laughing he said nothing.

i had the feeling that this guy was laughing on me but i rather not to through an argument of such person. afterwards, i received my meal and i re-asked again about the bacon and they had taken the sandwich immediately from me and replaced it with another one! they told me that there was bacon on that one ! so i waiting again for another sandwich and i got mine finally.
while i was eating, i tasted something not usually, i opened the sandwich and i found bacon in it. i came back to the counter and the same guy that laughed at me was waiting for me. i told him that i need to speak to the manager and he refused at the beginning. i finally reached the manager asking her why there is bacon in my food. she replayed with a sentence saying " you don't understand" first of all they placed bacon on purpose in my food and secondly she is insulting me.
from my end, I'll start a campaign in my area warning all the people around me of going to such place. they basically dose not respect people with different faiths which in it's turn again everything in the great United Kingdom. in other word, Burger King is the most racist place in the UK.

Regards,

Firas Omar
