Coupon redemption
I had this experience Monday, July 25, at about 7:10 p.m. at the 1707 East Valley Pkwy Burger King, and it left a bad taste in my mouth.
I ordered three small Whopper combinations in the drive-thru without saying I had a coupon, which it turns out is a stated must in the coupon's tiny print. (I need a glasses to read fine print.) Let it be clear, nowhere on the drive-thru menu are there instructions for coupon use.
I tooled up to the drive-thru window, where I presented a two-for-one direct-mail Whopper combo coupon and my debit card to the cashier. The cashier took the coupon, put it through the slit in the cash drawer and charged full price, $31, to my card.
Bemused, I asked why the cashier hadn't applied the coupon to the total. The cashier said that because I had failed to follow the instructions in the fine print, I would be required to pay full price. Since the cashier had taken the coupon and put it in the closed register through a slot, there was no way for me to confirm what was said.
Two questions came immediately to mind: (1) Why did the cashier accept the coupon, look at it, and put it in the drawer without letting on that the $10 discount would not be applied? (2) Is it possible for a Burger King employee to collect a coupon, refuse to honor it, charge full price, but then re-ring the transaction later and pocket the $10 difference.
Anyway, I asked if I could please speak to the manager. I listening dubiously to the same lecture about failing to follow the instructions in the fine print and therefore having to pay full price. After some discussion, I persuaded the manager to keep the combos and refund the $31 to my debit card. I drove straightaway to a different Burger King location to place the same order, but this time successfully with the coupon's 2-for-1 discount applied for a $10 savings.
Desired outcome: The two employees I talked to seemed determined to charge full price but keep the coupon. I think it would be a good idea to look into the way coupons are redeemed at that location.

Jesus Christ I got a whopper and a chicken sandwich and both had one piece of lettuce. Do you think you could spare the time to cut more if ya ain't got none. Cause if I would got this inside someone woulda got fired! It cost me $14 for these two sandwiches and no one gives two [censored]s to make it edible. I mean I know it ain't the best job but guess what they get paid more than pushing and broom and cleaning toilets. There wasn't a lot of people either. I'm sick of LAZY [censored] employees!

Customer service
Every time I pay at the drive through I am asked to pull up and wait for my order. EVERY time. Doesn't matter if I'm the only customer or the place is full, they want me to pull up so they get a higher ranking. Rather than hurrying to put my small order together - today it was milk with a ham, egg and cheese croissant - they ask me to pull up. And when I refused, another employee came to the window to say that she was the one making the food and I needed to comply because this is her job. In the time we spent discussing it, she could have easily prepared my order and sent me happily on my way
Desired outcome: Better service. Only ask people to pull up and wait if you have a good reason to do so.

Filing a complaint on Toria James of Darlington SC
He is smoking weed and popping pills and is around the food my kids consume and is also known for selling drugs out of the workplace! Do something about it before some unidentified substance gets in someones food or some food isn't prepared right because he has no place in that industry getting high! He doesn't have any manners or respect and is not a responsible adult! He is a drug dealer and has no place in your restaurant!

July 18 at 1:45 I ordered a whopper junior and fries at the Charlotte NC Airport.
I had to wait 10 minutes even though there was a very small amount of customers. I received a cold, tasteless burger. I ended up throwing it away.
I ate the semi-warm fries because it was the only food I had had since a yogurt for breakfast and I had to catch my next flight. I wouldn't be home until 6 pm
I won't be returning to Burger King again.

TV ad
We went to the Burger King restaurant in Irvine California because of their ad we saw on the TV about a $5 meal deal. When I ordered two of them, we were told they were $6 each and the TV ad was incorrect. We placed our order and while the food was very good, we will never go back due to false advertising. I ordered a Argentinian Angus meal via Uber eats on July 19 18:31, the food delivered at 19:05 and I ate the burger and fries with spicy mayo alone at home. This was the only meal or food I had in the evening. At 11:00pm till 4am, I puked at least 8 times. For two times was the food, then followed by vomiting yellow bile water and even white foam! I called 111 for medical advice and the GP came over my home for medication as I was alone and no one could help me to collect the medicine. I was still very unwell.
Desired outcome: Refund from Uber eats done. I would need an explanation, apology and monetary compensation to my condition as I was not able to go to work.

Nuggets and unsweetened tea
wow I'm a 64 female --- I used the drive thru today at store #5547. 2199 Whiteford Rd York PA transaction [protected] 021757. I was hungry and ordered 8 nuggets and a large unsweetened tea. my lunch was horrible - i ate it because i didn't want the hassle of going back to the window. tea was strong and bitter (also she failed to put ice = its 90 degrees outside !) and nuggets cold and tasteless. for $4.96 i am not happy thanks for listening

Poor service
I was in the drive-thru today trying to place an order for 2 people being given to me over a passenger's phone. I had to wait 4-mins before I was even greeted. Then I wasn't made aware of what drinks are offered because the order menu doesn't say. The individual decided to get slick and blame it on them being busy. I work fast food too, so I mentioned to my passenger I was going to get the manager's name then call corporate. This "individual" says I am the manager. Which was irrelevant. She was very unprofessional. She kept saying I'll be right with you, but each time I spoke about the order I was going to place or general conversation to my passenger She was involving herself in our conversation being combative verbally. She told me to go elsewhere because I was cursing in my car. Information was unavailable about who she is around 12pm

Today 7/11/2022, I went to the Burger King on Fort Belvoir @ 9572 Gunston Road Fort Belvoir, VA 22206 (store # 18646). They have a menu board offering 2 for $10.00 I go to order the chicken fries to only be told by the person taken the order that they do not offer that item. I tell her it’s on your menu board and she still will not take the order. I get to window and ask to speak to a manager which he (Jonny) came and identify himself as the manager and I told him what I would like to order. He still refuses and I tell him it’s on your menu board and you not going to honor, and he said no it been like that for weeks and they were going to take it at the end of the day. This is such a waste of time even going to that Burger King it is always an issue. I am trying to see how I can make a complaint to the base commander regarding this, I can only image how many people and military personal have had this issue before me.

Frozen drink machine broken
I got my mailer this week, highlighting the Minute Maid frozen strawberry lemonade. I wanted to bring my girls for a reward to get this. I should have known better as their icee machine is always broken. Per par I attempted to order these for the girls and myself when I was told the frozen drink machine has not woked in days. Food quality, etc
As you know, everyone has heard the news about an employee of BK that retired after 27 years of employment with you and did not miss 1 single day of work during his employment. Upon his retirement, BK gave him a parting gift of a 'goodie bag' which consisted of a movie ticket and some candy to go along with it. To say I feel extreme disappointment in BK's lack of gratitude would be an understatement. How is it that the company of this stature would treat a devoted, loyal employee this way? I had hoped your company could not sink any lower than the dog food that you serve as food. The quality of your burger meat is atrocious and should only be fed to the dogs. Your only saving grace prior to your fall from grace, was your french fries were not half bad and once in awhile the chicken sandwich actually tasted like real food. Now I can walk away completely from this franchise and never look back. Your ethics and food are despicable.

My husband went to the Burger KIng in Corvallis, Oregon (5000 SW Philomath) today and was told to never come again to this restaurant. The advertising was hard for him to see and let the manager know, she got angry at him and told him to never come back. My husband has suffered two brain injuries and sometimes he can't see the fine print. She was horrible to my husband and embarrassed him. I don't know what her attitude stemmed from, but I sure don't appreciate how he was treated. I work at Oregon State University at a Dining Center. We never treat anyone like this. Our customer service is outstanding and believe that customers should be treated kindly and with respect. Please see that your manager treats everyone kindly, even those with disabilities.
