In May, I booked a rental car in Toronto through booking.com. The vehicle was slightly damaged while sitting in a parking lot in Niagara Falls. I didn't notice it until I returned the vehicle. There was a small dent on the rear bumper that was about the size of a dime. The agent at the location said not to worry about it that I would not be charged. In July I received a letter from Avis stating that I owed them $750 for damages. They replaced the whole bumper for a little dent. I have been fighting with them ever since. The have even threatened to put me in collections. I feel that they took advantage of me because I am an older lady. My insurance company has paid some but I am left with the balance of $311, which I really cannot afford to pay. I definitely would never recommend this company to anyone. I have read reviews on Social Media and they are all bad. I would like to resolve this by them dropping the claim and not charging me anything. They are very unprofessional.

    I sympathize, you need to get compensation from them for moral damage!
