An ADT service tech came to my home on July 29, 2025 to REPLACE A BATTERY. He did not have a battery with him. He stated that he would return the following day with a battery. He returned on July 30 and replaced the battery. We expressed interest in upgrading cameras. He had 3 cameras in his truck, replaced our old ones with little to no instructions on how to operate.Thru trial and error the cameras are working, but not as good as the original ones, $1400 fee, plus service fee for battery. The control panel battery light remained on and a remote service tech informed me that the battery had not been replaced and another service call was made, which we were informed that would be no charge. On Aug 20 a second tech came to my house and again WITHOUT a battery. He returned the followng day replaced the battery and deleted my screen display and chime! And he charged $107! On Aug 23, I made multiple ADT calls to get the screen display and chime working again. I spoke to reps in multiple countries, including Dominican Republic, Phillipines and Panama City! Why can't I get a local rep at least in my country! My system worked fine! All I wanted was a new battery and they want to sell me a new system. If I have to get a new system, it will be with a NEW service provider!
Claimed loss: $107 should have not have been charged with 90 day warranty
Desired outcome: $107 credit to my account and better service techs.
