Worst hotel ever
This is by far the worst hotel/suite I have ever stayed at. The first thing I can say is this place is a catfish, the internet is crap and if you have more than one device then you have to actually by an internet membership to receive crappy service. You're better off getting a Wi-Fi box or home internet from metro or T-Mobile. Secondly, a family of 3 or more might as well go to Wal-Mart, Dollar general, or some sort of store and buy wash clothes and towels, or you literally have to let 2 people shower, take the dirt ones to the front desk so you can get 2 more. I will NEVER STAY AT THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN! When you turn on the eye to try to cook, it starts smoking so you might as well just eat out to save you from having a smokie room. I can go on and on, but they don't even deserve the 1 star. I wouldn't let my dead relative stay in this place. NEVER AGAIN
Don't Stay!
Virginia Beach location
To start with I had booked a room due to a surgery, to be close to the hospital, however, the day before the surgery was cancelled midday when we were supposed to check in at the hotel that afternoon. Attempted to reschedule, but unable to reach the front desk (the reservation personnel were unable to reach the front desk either). We decided to stay the night anyway. Upon arriving the smell at the hotel was apparent. The front desk area had an overpowering sweet smell like someone sprayed freshener every few minutes. The staff were efficient and appropriate. The inner door (which you had to enter with a card), would not close properly. The back door wouldn't close on it's own and a card would not open it either. There was something smelly in the hallways. The elevator had issues the whole time we were there, upon entering and selecting a floor, the light may or may not come on. After 30 seconds or so the door would finish closing (the door was closed then closed the last few inches and the elevator would start moving). The room wasn't fully cleaned, lots of dust on the window blinds and under and around the TV stand. No pillow cases, although the front desk supplied when I went and asked. A few bugs were present in the room. The TV had (burn spots?), on every channel, it looked like 8 spotlights were present on the TV. The internet was slower than dial up used to be, even though I had logged in on their 3 different wireless names. On a few of my trips downstairs, I called the hotel number while by the front desk and after going through the menu to get to the front desk, the phone never rang which explains why I couldn't get through on my many attempts to call the front desk. Although the staff were efficient and friendly, I will never stay at this place again or recommend to anyone.

Never going to stay at this place again
Checked room out and found stove top was rusty and had burned food particles around burners. Reported this to management but since I was not going to cook in the room I took the room. Stayed one night killed three bugs, pillows were little more than half filled sacks with some kind of stuffing. Would not even call them pillows. Checked out a day early because wasn't going to stay in bug infested room for one more night. Knew I would be charged for two night stay but was willing to accept it. Paid cash for room and left. Now I find that I am being charged on my credit card an amount that is equal to half of what I was charged to reserve the room. Room reservation charge still not refunded on my credit card three days after I checked out. Called credit card company to dispute the extra charge. Not going to pay to clean a room that was dirty when I checked in. When I did check in desk clerk made a copy of both sides of my credit card. Felt this was unnecessary since the information was used when I made the reservation. Now I see they need the information to make fraudulent charges on it. WoodSprings advertises the cleanliness of their rooms. They didn't mean this one. The attached pictures were taken when I checked out the room and reported it to the desk clerk,
Recommendation: Pick any other hotel but stay away from this one
Bad Customer Service
Stayed at the Quantico VA location for 2 weeks today, on the 3rd day of my stay the ac unit started to make a terrible noise which woke me up in the middle of the night I reported it to the front desk the next day to the young lady that was working the she wrote up the ticket and stated that it would be taken care of i asked her if she could switch my room but was told no other rooms were available. Today 10-9-23 i go to the front desk to pay the bill and i meet GM Tyree Davis for the 1st time i told him about the issue he wrote up the ticket to address the issue his whole vibe was fake and he lacks the customer service skills for the job he calls me to tell me that i gave false information on my review note 10-9-23 was the 1st time i ever seen Mr Davis he was over talking me so i hung up, obviously there is a lack of communication with his management team and his listening skills cause he took my communication with the young lady who i originally reported the issue to as if i said my statements to him. I am certain that Mr Davis has other Compliants on him because am not the type to write reviews or contact Corp. but in this case i had no choice you are not going to call me over talk me and tell me what words came out of my mouth.
Tyree Davis is a [censored]ING [censored]. I hate that man with a passion. And so are the people who worked with him. The Quantico location is ghetto, disgusting, and I had bed bug bites from that stay. They stole about 40.00 for an unauthorized charge, won't refund me and the big kicker they stole a package worth almost 600.00 and opened and stole stuff out of another package. They are literal scum. I'm going to see to it they are all homeless. They allow homeless bums and crack heads to deal drugs in the parking lot. Actually gross.

Unprofessional management
The first week we stayed, the t.v. had lines in it like it was hit before but did not look like it was losing picture, so since it did not seem that it was going to give out I left it alone. Then the fire alarm was left on top of the refrigerator so upon seeing this I asked maintenence staff about it and ask what was wrong with it he state he would have to get back with me after he spoke to his manager. He never did. Then upon checking on the phone in the room it did not work.The past several nights we had been awoken by guests staying upstairs which last night I tried to contact someone to ask if they could go and resolve the issue but of course no one answered. After addressing these issues still nothing was resolved. This morning we were rudely awoken by managment about the fire alarm and managment stated he had to come in because of the fire alarm. And was yelling and saying that I was lieng and that this was a new room and That if he finds out that it was tampered with again that he was going to kick us out. After turning off and turning back on the t.v. it was messing up so I went and told staff but once again nothing was done. The stay here is very bad. I would not recommend this motel to anyone. The manager is very rude and unprofessional. He does not know how to speak to people.
Claimed loss: Loss of potential business wages due to not getting enough sleep and having to stay in a motel who don't care about there guests and do not resolve any issues that are addressed.
Desired outcome: A complete refund or another 2 weeks of stay when ever needed or a complete refund and an apology not by managment cause the way he talks to people could potentially escalate the situation.

The Hotel
I stayed at this hotel for six days. I will never tell anyone to stay here. On my first day, the lady who checked me in gave me a dirty room. I changed my room, and then the room felt like things were biting me. I checked the bed. I didn't see bed bugs, but I think it was flea. Then, the assistant manager moved to a different room. She was very nice. Just because you are animal-friendly doesn't mean all the rooms need to have animals in them. Some rooms need to be designed for no-animal. The hotel has unwanted crime in the parking lot. The police like to be in there. The people on the 4th floor jump all night. One of the employees brought all her clothes to wash in the washing machine. The bed is not soft at all. Then, last night, I asked for the cart to carry my stuff. They call me and say it's not possible at night. I made a few trips to my car to put things in there. No one is at the window at night, so you have to keep calling on the phone to get some assistance. This was the worst 6 days I stayed. I would never tell anyone to come to this hotel to stay. The picture looks good online, but the area is not good.

We have been here 2 days our service has been lousy. We could not get in our room because door is messed up we are working here and will be here awhile. On the third I spoke to the man at the hotel he told me it be 904 to rent from the 3rd to the 21 I'm on SSI disabled an have one check for the month I went to hotel an the guy said there is no charge but for the inconvenience my departure was not the 21 but the 28 now . I paid he gave me two keys the manager was there paid all in twentys . I'm disabled I have no hip I'm on a walker I was tolde the 20 leave or bring me 104 in thirty min . The hotel manager frequently leaves the ozone machine running for hours and even DAYS at a time, exposing us and the other guests to ozone. We're experiencing headaches, burning eyes, coughing. We've asked the manager to stop running the machine for extended periods of time and explained to him that the constant ozone exposure is dangerous and unhealthy. He either doesn't know that the machine is only supposed to be used for no longer than 60 minutes at a time or he just doesn't care. The hotel staff seems to understand that the ozone machine is NOT supposed to be left in rooms for days at a time but he doesn't know this? The manager will come in in the morning and start running the ozone machine in the hallways and leave it running for his entire shift, when he's not purposely leaving the machine in rooms for 24 to 48 hours. One weekend, the machine was left running in a room next to us for three days!
I don't want to leave my real name and personal information because we fear that the manager will kick us out for contacting you. We are staying here at the Sterling Heights location for an extended period of time but, we're seriously considering finding another extended stay because our entire family, including our dog is experiencing symptoms of ozone exposure. Would someone please talk to the manager Paul about his misuse of the ozone machine, without letting him know we complained? My husband and I feel like he will know it's us that complained because we actually asked him a couple times to stop running it so obsessively and constantly. We explained to him that it was literally making us sick but he didn't seem too concerned. In fact, he said it was because of a smelly, "disabled" guest he was trying to get rid of and that when ruat person left, he wouldn't need to run it in the hallways. Well, that guest has left and he continues to use the ozone machine in the hallways and for hours and days at a time.
Right now, the hallway is so strong of ozone, your eyes literally sting and water as you walk down the hall. I came back from work tonight and the smell was so strong of ozone in the hallway and our room, I got an instant headache. My son , husband and dog were in the room all day while I was at work and experienced burning eyes, headaches and coughing. When I walked into our room tonight, the entire room reeked of ozone. My dog was rubbing her eyes with her paws. I have the window open in our room and opened both windows in the hallway to try to air out the ozone. I called the desk clerk and asked her to check the room next to us for the ozone machine and she said, "I wish he (the manager) would tell me what room he leaves the machine in so I can go shut it off!"
Like I said, the housekeepers and desk clerks KNOW the dangers of ozone machine being left on for extended periods of time but the MANAGER does not? Please help. We would like to stay at this location and we've tried exploring the manager about the health risks but he doesn't seem to care or be responsible enough to change his practices. Thank you in advance for your prompt attention to this very serious matter.

I have been residing at Woodworking suites in Topeka Kansas since 07/13/2023 until present.I initially paid a week and have been paying daily since.I spoke with the front desk receptionist at least 3times explainng that the payment would be paid around 5pm-6pm due to my husband being at work and he gets paid daily.The Manager/front desk clerk agreed to this yet deactivated the card every day after 07/20/23.I would have to go get the card re-activated after I spoke with him.I had to wait outside for 15 mins the last occurance with my 1yt old child in weather of 107.00 Kansas has been in a heat wave.I am at a point where.I am making Corporate aware of the inhumane treatment that I have been subjected to here at the Woodsprings suite.And also asking for compensation because of this .Or I will pursue Legally the maximum amount of.compensation available for human rights violations of this nature.I was intentionally locked out of the hotel consecutively in a heatwave for 5 days and the card I was given was defective.

THE PROBLEM:
I was dropped off at WoodSpring Suites Chesapeake-Norfolk South by the Cab driver, at 1:45 am. There was no one available!
No one was on the desk. There was no bell to ring. I was able to come into the waiting area but you had to have a key to get into the lobby. There was a phone in that waiting area to call. I was waiting on that phone for 15 to 30 minutes and no one was available to assist.
There were business cards on the ledge and I called and left messages at each number, no response.
I had to go to the restroom. Some residents let me into the lobby area only to find out ALL DOORS IN THE LOBBY AREA WERE LOCKED. So I returned to the Waiting area and used the phone on the wall again.
There was no help!
IT IS NOW 3:00 AM.
I had nowhere to go. I had No Transportation, and everything was closed. I left this hotel to walk to the main road to see if I could see anything that was open that I could walk to.
I called Booking.com several times but they are a third party so they could not help. They apologized for the situation I was in.
I was walking down a major highway, trying to get near the areas where I saw lights. I was crying, pulling my suitcase, and trying to balance my bag on my shoulder. I cannot walk long distances because of my back problem but I was trying to get somewhere where I could get assistance.
I finally saw a police car and flagged the officer down. He rolled down the window and asked if I was ok and I responded NO. He told me to stay right there, and he would come to me. I broke down when he reached me. He said he was concerned as to why I was walking done that main highway at that time in the morning.
The officer was very kind and allowed me to collect myself so that I could explain my situation. Another officer joined him in his car. The officer put me and my bag in his car and took me to a Quality Inn where he knew there was a gentleman on the desk that would be able to get me a room. He told Bob to take care of me,
The room at the Quality Inn was unbelievable. No air, broken blinds, and the room faced the Waffle House, so privacy was a challenge.
In a few hours, I was with my cousin.
I followed up with Booking.com who said they were “escalating” the complaint and would get back to me. I called back every two days and I was told they were still addressing it.
I was told on 4/22/2023, that my 15.99 would be refunded and I would receive an email. The refund would take 8 to 10 days.
I was also told that they had spoken to WoodSpring Suites on my behalf and registered a complaint. I asked if anyone planned on calling me and giving me an apology. I was told NO.
Desired outcome: No one felt that this situation was worthy of their time and attention. Not an apology.No compensation for the major inconvienance.Suppose this was your 72 year old mother.
