WLY* Complete Save have been taking money fraudulently from my credit card for the last 5 months, totalling £75. I do a small amount of online shopping usually with the same four companies, but at no time have I requested to join the Complete Save savings plan. I have only just discovered this fraud, in part because I had a replacement credit card about a month ago and no longer have online access to previous statements, but also because the amount of £15 per month is a small enough amount not to raise alarm bells! I have now contacted my bank and had further payments stopped, but as a pensioner on a very low income I am furious that this amount of money has been stollen from my account. Somehow this company has got hold of my details, but I can confirm that I have never completed an application form to join this savings plan or received any emails or other documents from this company. I want my money refunded and this company investigated. Ray Lewis

Hello Mary

My reference is [protected]. I have spoken with Martin of Complete Save regarding this, but he has only refunded £45, therefore Complete Save still owe me £30. It was quite clear during our conversation that £15 had been taken from June to October amounting to £75.
Please now confirm that you will be refunding the £30 of my money that you still have.
Ray

Omg I cant believe how many people have the same problem and this company is still going on.
I just noticed this month that £15 have been taken from my account from 2017 they owe me £375
I am so sure I haven’t signed for this nonsense! They refunded £45 but I’m waiting for the balance.
If I wasn’t off work I don’t think I would noticed for a while
These deals are a fraudulent way of getting money out of people
Who knows how many don’t even check their statements

Hello Forum Members,

Complete Savings will be happy to assist you but it's difficult to do that in a forum such as this when we cannot identify a membership record for you.

When you submit a complaint on Complaintsboard, you are not contacting Complete Savings directly. Unfortunately, Complaintsboard.com does not make this clear to consumers and they mislead consumers to believe you are contacting us directly. They do not prominently display our actual contact details and instead their website is designed to prod consumers to post public complaints rather than advising the consumer to contact us directly so that your complaint can be resolved expediently.

If you'd like assistance regarding the Complete Savings programme, please contact us directly so that we can identify your membership record and resolve your complaint. You can reach us on our free telephone number (from within the UK) 0800 389 6960, or, you can contact us at www.completesave.co.uk/contact .

In the meantime, we’d like to provide you with the following details about the Complete Savings programme.

Complete Savings is an online membership programme ideal for those who shop online regularly. Complete Savings members have access to a wide range of cashback deals, including an initial cashback reward, a monthly cashback reward, discounted gift cards and 10% cashback at over 650 online stores. More details can be found at www.completesavings.co.uk.

The only way to become a member is to manually enter your details on the Complete Savings sign-up page and agree to the Terms of Service. The details required are: your name, your email address, your postal address, and your credit or debit card details for the monthly billing. It is mentioned in several places on the sign-up page that following 30 days free membership, there is a monthly fee - hence why you are required to provide your credit/debit card details on the sign-up page. There is no other way of creating a membership but to provide your details in full and complete the sign-up page.

We hope you use the contact details we included above to contact us so that we can identify your record and assist you.

Kind regards,
Complete Savings

Hello all. I was flabbergasted to recently discover that I had been duped into parting with £15 per month to Complete Save. I, like many was confused when buying a train ticket on Trainline (who I will incidentally never use again after this experience). I was offered the opportunity to claim my £30 reduction in the cost of my train tickets. Although I have no recollection of doing so, I must clearly have presumed that entering my card details would enable me to claim my discount. I forgot all about it. I REALLY should check my bank statements more closely. It transpires I had been relieved of £495 before I noticed the monthly transactions.

To be fair to Complete Save (and possibly because of this web site and others like it?), they have just refunded me the entire sum. I guess I could have asked for interest but I was just pleased to have it back.

What a sneaky scam!

Hello, I feel cheated to find that a total of £195 has been taken from my account since September 2019. £15/month from WLY* COMPLETE SAVE. totalling in £120 and an additional transaction from WLY* MY TIME REWARDS of £15/month was added since 2019 making the total 195. I assume the the two are linked as they have same amount and WLY*. I am a student struggling with money myself, and cannot believe this has happened to so many people. It’s shocking and I request my money back.

Dear Mary, my name is Svetlanie Canencia and I am writing to complain about your merchant completesave which have been making unauthorised deductions from my bank account since November and that is £15 twice a month amounting to £165 in total. Not to mention £15 have just been deducted again this month on the 2nd of May 2019. This is very frustrating. I demand a refund for this. I do not remember authorising you to make these deductions from me. I have raised this concern last month already with reference number [protected]. To which your colleague, Claudette confirmed cancellation of my membership which I do not even recall signing up for but anyhow she confirmed that it has been cancelled. However the deductions have been reoccurring. I am writing to ask your good office to stop all of this and remove all my details from your website which I tried doing but it cannot be removed. I have not received any benefits from you or any cashbacks whatsoever and therefore would like to have my £165 back including the recently deducted £15. I do not even do online shopping. What you are doing is fraud. It is my hard-earned money and I do not think I deserve to be stolen money from. I hope you can resolve this issue. I do not authourise WLY*CompleteSavings and WLY*MyTimeRewards to be making these deductions from my bank account now or in the future. I hope to hear from you very soon.

Respectfully yours,
Svetlanie Canencia

My daughter, who is a student, has just noticed today that £15 has been taken from her account since February 2017. The total amount which has been taken without her knowledge or consent is £550.00. £15 per month is a small amount to get alarm bells ringing. Its very annoying how they have taken away so much money without her signing up for this. We have written an email to Complete savings and also contacted the bank to stop future payments.

Wly completesave and a similar company wly mytimerewards are online discount retailers. Its very easy to sign up to them without realising. Ie you may have used Papa johns or other online site to buy goods and there has been a tick box and by either ticking or unticking this box it gives you a discount for those goods but in the background will sign you up for a monthly membership. Its very simple to fix. You have to contact your bank and advise them to stop any future payments and then you will need to contact the retailer either by their email or their phone numbers which are usually on your statement. They are usually pretty good at offering refunds so long as it hasnt been going on for a very long time.

I have just noticed this 15 Euro charge on my Debit Card. In December 2018, I bought tickets from Ticketmaster. I had noticed everytime when buying from Ticketmaster there was an offer of 16.80 Euro off my next Ticketmaster purchase. I had noticed this offer before and always ignored it, but as I was about to buy tickets for a second event, I clicked YES to this offer. I remember filling out a form and being redirected to another website. I had thought it was a Ticketmaster offer. I also remember inputting my Debit card details, but I thought they needed this to send me my refund. I remember thinking -uuggh - i thought it was just going to be discount off next purchase, but it looked like i would pay for next Ticketmaster purchase in full and then get a refund from CompleteSavings. If I had known it worked like that, I wouldnt have bothered ticking YES to the offer. What I definitely did not know or see was that I was actually signing up to a 15 Euro per month membership to CompleteSavings. I will be phoning Ticketmaster and complaining that they seem to be linked to this Con-trick. I did find the original email from Complete Savings and was able to logon with my email and cancel the membership. I wont bother chasing the 15 euro refund, but I feel very sorry for those people who have reported months of charges before they noticed. Surely companies like Argos or Ticketmaster or PapaJohns should not be connected with this type of promotion.

I have just checked my latest bank statement and found that £15 was taken by Wly*complete.co.uk in December 2018 and January 2019. I have never used this company for anything. I contacted my bank and they stopped any further payments. I contacted Wly*complete and they said I had filled in their application form when purchasing items from Mighty Deals, which is totally untrue. When I rang them and complained and told them I would contact Action Fraud they said they would refund my money. These people are a bunch of crooks. I am going to contact my MP Nigel Mills and see what he can do to stop this company illegally taking money off people.

Doing my tax return checking my expenses I just realised that WLY. complete saver have been charging my credit card £15.00 a month since 2017. Checking through in google I found this page. I see so many people have got in to this trap. I do not ever remember signing or giving my information to charge my credit card but possibly buying something online WLY.complete saver may have either pop me to another page or taken my details fraudulently. You can see how many people have got in to this trap. This clearly indicate this is a fraud. I have never used WLY for any purchases or savings. This is clearly a fraud. My credit card monthly bills are large so I do not realise this £15/ going through until I had a proepr look during my tax return. How many more people may be paying without realising. If WLY has email and telephone contacts WLY should contact every one they charge and ask if they want to contine with the service so people will reaslise and stop this fraud. I will be reporting this and seeking all my money. This is simply a fraud. Eveery one writing in this page has the same opinion and unwillingly charge £15 without realising and without providing a service? Stop this fraud.

To Whom this may concern,

I have noticed on my bank statements that I have been paying wly complete for some considerable months for a service I have no recollection of signing up for or use!

After searching my junk mail I came across an email where I had purchased a train ticket in November 2016.
I will be writing to train line too as this is extremely irresponsible and bad practice to say the least.

I have never given you permission to take monies from my bank account and consider these actions as potential fraud.

If I am not refunded in full (£345) I will seek legal advice and contact the financial ombudsman.

Hi there
For some inexplicable reason, I had noticed, but not really looked into why I was paying £15 a month to you. I have checked my bank statements and I have been paying this since November 2015 (total so far £510!) I checked back on my email and have found an email dated 9th October 2015, welcoming me as a member ([protected]) and mentioning PapaJohns. I guess they must have mentioned something about you to me when I visited them. I must have agreed something, but I have never used your service. Could you please advise me what I have to do to: a. Stop this payment going out, and b. Please refund me my money. I realise I must have agreed, but never for one minute realised that this money would come out of my account month, after month.
Thanks

06 Aug 18 I have just checked my online account and noticed £15 deducted by WLY COMPLETE. I, like many, never signed up for this but having phoned them it appears I was automatically enrolled when buying a train ticket on TrainLine.com. The operator was very efficient and stopped my account immediately. I will put the loss of the £15 down to experience. Just be warned. You do not need to fill out a dedicated sign up form for this. It can be, as with me, a hidden product that may be hidden in the small print with an exclusion tick box. Look closely!

I've just emailed their complaints department as follows, after noticing £15 being charged fraudulently to my credit card each month.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please refund all money charged to my credit card immediately. I did not knowingly sign up to this service, as I'm sure you are very well aware of. If all money charged to my credit card is not refunded immediately I will start legal proceedings.

Please treat this as a matter of urgency as I am currently paying interest on money that has been effectively stolen from my credit card.

To whom it may concern,

I am having money taken out of my account every month to the amount of 15 pounds and I never remember signing up to give away free money to anyone. This is outrageous and a complete scam and I want my money refunded immediately as I am a student and taking money out of my account without notifying me at all is a criminal offence. I am also a law student and have links with solicitors so I will urge you to refund my money now or I will sue you. Give me a number on which I can call and do this with top priority. This has been happening since last september which i find disgusting and I couldnt for the life of me figure out who was taking this money until I investigated this further and came across this.
