Whirlpool review: Microwave disappointment

We just got a new microwave and paid to have it installed. I am so disappointed that the sound (timer and when food is done) is so low in volume and high in pitch that I can't hear it unless I am standing with my ear close to the microwave. I'll be the first to admit that I am hard of hearing, but I could hear the old one even if I was in another room. I am trying to decide if I should have the repairman come out or if it will be a waste of time. I would return it and get another brand, but I think I would have to pay another installation fee. I really miss my timer!
