Today is May 8, 2025. I filed a report back in February of this year after I was discriminated against by a Walmart Employee at Bell and Tatum in Phoenix, AZ. Management did not seem to care. One of the managers told me to file an ethics complaint. If you call that department, it says something about 7 to 10 days to investigate, and then they are to get back to you. Now, 21/2 months later, I am still waiting. Tonight, I was informed that they have not even started investigating the matter. I talked to a different manager at the store tonight about this, and after not being there for two and a half months, she informed me that I might be making this up. I told her that I had the receipt from that night and the ethic number assigned to my case. I left to go home and get the receipt to show her that I filed a report. My husband went with me this time. When I returned, she took a cell shot of the receipt. She promised to call back in a couple of days. Twenty minutes she told me that she did not see any surveillance evidence that I was even there that night. Therefore, it was my word against their word, I have the actual receipt from that night. I was there. I do not know if she viewed the surveillance tape long enough. I know that the first time I reported the incident, it was the next morning. Less than 12 hours after the incident. Maybe they pulled the evidence. I did not think that someone would sit on a store receipt for that long if they were lying about an incident that occurred with one of Walmart's employees. Walmart shows that they do not care about its customers. They do not even want to take the time to apologize; they only care about themselves. It appears that their employees can treat you terribly and get away with it. I never again what to shop at this Walmart again. Maybe even any of them. I do not like being treated like a liar. Like any business, Walmart should show that it cares about its customers.
