On August 17, 2021, at 9:30 pm I called the pharmacy and was put on hold with a message that stated that there were 2 callers ahead of me. I stayed on hold and when it was finally my turn, the call was disconnected. I am assuming that this is because it was 10:01 pm and they closed. No problem. I called today, August 18, 2021, at 9:44 am and was put on hold with a message that there were more than 3 callers ahead of me. I stayed on hold for 25 minutes and it was finally my turn. The call was disconnected again! Walgreens needs a better system for answering calls. My Walgreens has one person at the window and one person at the counter inside. Meanwhile, there are at least 5 other people doing nothing, I literally see them doing nothing. Why can't Walgreens put those people on the phone to cut down wait time?

Desired outcome: Get a better system of answering phone calls or give the option for a call back!

I agree with you about the phones. I waited 45 minutes with that standard “there are 3 callers ahead of you” then after 25 min it said there are two callers and at 45 min the recording stated they are out to lunch? It. Was 4:30? They have a standard lunch. From 1:30–2pm. This has happen to me more than one. Yes, August 2021. They are HORRIBLE

I have had a similar problem with the pharmacy in Greenville, Mi. It is very much like you say and need a new system. I am not going to use Walgreens there and will go to another pharmacy.
