Walgreens review: liquor purchase

I am a regular Walgreens customer - at least 2-3 times per week.

At approximately 4 pm today, I purchased many items that included alcohol. The male cashier stated he didn't "feel comfortable" selling me the alcohol because he "felt" I was intoxicated.

I was shocked and offended.

(As a side note, I just had back surgery and walk with a compromised gait).

It is not up to mere cashiers to judge or "police" customers based on unsubstantiated "observations".

I will no longer shop at any Walgreens and will be transferring my family's prescriptions to Osco.

I will also spread the word.
