I went to my local Walgreens store at 2:05 pm today Sept 14th and asked for a flu shot. The clerk told me that the pharmacist was at lunch for another 25 minutes and asked if I could wait. I said no and that I would return later. She said OK.
I returned at 5:30 pm today and again asked for a flu shot. The same clerk made a number of entries into her laptop and them went to talk to the pharmacist. Upon return to her counter, she advised me that they were no longer giving flu shots either today or tomorrow due to limited staffing. A number questions came to mind but the clerk was in no position to respond so I just said it seemed like a ridiculous just made decision and they would be hearing more from me.

I had an appointment to get the flu shot at the Walgreens on Edgewater in port charlotte.
I was on time with my paperwork ready. After being waited on I stood waiting for 20 minutes
while Mask less people came and went and stood around me. Being a senior and concerned
about the virous I found this very disturbing and scary. I finally asked the pharmacist why was
I having to wait . She told me That it would be another 10 minutes or so. I left and will never go to
walgreens again. It's hard to believe that a drug store can have such little regard for the lives of
people that they refuse to have a mask requirement for all customers in order to protect the other
costumers. They really suck.
