Walgreens - Employees

I was denied services of reloading cash onto my Green Dot prepaid card by generating a code right from the Green Dot mobile app. I was told by the assistant manager that there's no such thing as scanning a code off of my phone and that we never scan anyone's phone. I tried to explain to him that I have done it more than a few times at this same location and that the manager him self did just that for me he cut me off and said who are you talking about? When I described the gentleman he went on to say that's not a manager and that he was a trainee assistant manager which I personally know that was a flat out lie. With that bieng said I had no choice but to leave which I did so. Now the next morning on 06/29/2020 I walked in and saw the same african american female employee that heard everything that was said the previous day which was 06/28/2020 by the "assistant manager" I walked up to the register said hi and preceeded to say that I needed to reload my prepaid visa card pulled out my wallet and I tried to hand her the all white with green letters that said CHIME. She immediately said im not doing this with you today and did a hand movement as if she was telling me to get out. Wait what just happened I thought to my self. For a second I went into a shock honestly. But then I thought maybe she's mistaken me for someone else. Well that was NOT the case. As she started to walk away from the register to go stack up bags of candy all I was thinking is this has to be a mistake and tried to ask what was going on or is there anything wrong only to be told that I needed to get out. I tried to tell her that if this is about scanning the SECURE bar code off my phone withing the Green Dot app that way im not required to pay the $4.95 fee. That she was wrong because this is a totally different card but she ignored me and kept to stack up the candy bags. Now with all of this said I believe that there's 0 managment 0 trained employees 0 customer service and last but not least 0 respect. I am furious angry and feel that I was disrespected and treated as if I was an animal both visits on 06/28/20 and 06/29/20. With that bieng off my mind and chest I really want to pursue this issue and I want to make sure that this wont happen to ANYONE else EVER again. I would like to keep in touch and I would like an update on this issue.
My name is [removed] my personal cell number is [protected].

Thank you

I literally spent the most ridiculous demeaning, borderline insanity of a time, an hour approximately over .49 CENTS... YES, FORTY-NINE CENTS.

I was making a purchase with the balance of ..57 CENTS LEFT ON ONE OF YOUR WALGREENS STORE CREDIT/ RETURN CARD...

I PAID IN CASH.

But Houston, did we have a problem.

He insisted on trying to give me .49 on another CARD!

So literally the return of less than 20.00 that was put on the card to start was my first return in DECADES.

I will be posting this EVERYWHERE.

At the end the young man Mr Houston got nasty, verbally argumentative, and arrogantly obnoxious.

He originally said he could Not give me the ..49 because I had paid .57 with a Gift card, actually, he kept screaming " I PAID WITH A GIFT CARD!

HONESTLY, I AM SHOCKED I TOOK SO LONG TO GET FED UP WITH HIS BELITTLING ATTITUDE AND TREATMENT.

I pointed out that he had said his DM had to instruct him on how to refund FORTY-NINE CENTS CASH...I pointed out that if his Employer doesn't trust him with .49, then how can he function. the point of this waste of MY TIME and insulting mockery by him.

Had I known I WOULD HAVE FILMED IT and the Public humiliation.

Actually, had it been me. I WOULD HAVE SACRIFICED THE .49 OUT OF MY OWN POCKET SO THE CUSTOMER WOULD NOT HAVE TO SUFFER DUE TO MY LACK OF TRAINING!

And corrected my issue with the customer gone, ALSO NOT TO PUBLICALLY HUMILIATE THEM, AS HE DID WITH ME!

I do believe that he and his helpful assistant and the employees at this store are Racist and it was their Racism that caused this to escalate into the MONUMENTAL ISSUE IT HAS BECOME AND CONTINUE TO BE SO

IN FACT, PERHAPS YOUR ORGANIZATION AS A WHOLE, GIVEN THESE EMPLOYEES AT THIS LOCATION, IS CONSISTENT WITH WALGREENS DISCRIMINATION?

EMPLOYEES ARE A REFLECTION OF MANAGEMENT
