Vodacom Shake competition

Good day

I would like to complain, I won R50k on the shake competition in January 2021, I received a call from vodacom on the 21st January 2021 to say I won R50k, the consultant told me I would Recieve a email requesting documents, I recieved a email from Jesse Golding on the 1st February 2021 with a letter saying congratulations you won R50k, and requested documents from me and the letter indicated I will be paid out in 30 to 60 days, I then sent all my documents on the 2nd February 2021, I have been in contact via email with Jesse Golding, she emailed me that there was a issue with my branch code which we sorted. 30days came no payment, we emailed and she promised she's working on the payment. Then 60days came on the 29th April 2021 still with no payment. She assured me she's working on it. On the 30th April 2021 she told me payments team and her financial director has advised her that payment will be made on the 3rd May 2021. On the 3rd I asked her how long will it take to reflect in my account, she told me latest Wednesday 5th May 2021, on Wednesday no payment received, I waited for Thursday 6th May 2021 as 48hrs is over, I asked her for proof of payment she told me she does not know where the error was but she personally got them to reprocess the payment. She then told me they are processing the payment as we speak at about 9 in the morning of the 6th, I emailed her the entire day for feedback with no response from her and there is still no payment in my account on the 7th May. I need the money as I planned to use it and it belongs to me as I won. I need this payment today made immediately. Vodacom stop misleading the people give them what you owe them.

Vodacom Fiber Installation

I requested a move of my fibre line at the end of March 2021 because I moved from Somerset West to Cape Town on 01 May 2021. A sales order was issued SO210331-459903.

I then received an e-mail with the following reference number on the 15th of April 2021: SR210415-459671

Vodacom had the delivery address of the new router wrong, with the result that the router was sent back to Johannesburg, despite numerous calls and e-mails from me instructing them to deliver the router to the address where I was still residing before my move or to my work address where there would be someone to receive it.

Now Octotel installed the fiber but I still don't have a router and I cannot get anyone to assist me with this matter. I've spent a total of 4 hours thus far and every time a call centre agent tells me a different story. I am also being billed for a service I don't have. I am spending a fortune on buying data in order to at least get my work done.

Can someone please assist me with this issue as a matter of urgency?

Vodacom I paid up my account last year January 2020 but it's still appearing on my name as unpaid, kindly update and remove your account on my name

I want vodacom to clear my name and update the status, I paid my vodacom account January 2020 its already a year now but it's still reflecting on my credit history as unpaid that makes my credit score very low, kindly assist in removing my name of the list of unpaid

Vodacom Initial downgraded package agreed upon differs. Reversal without permission

Initial downgraded package agreed upon (on 2021-01-21) differs from what was received in reality. No feedback was received after various call was made and mails were sent, to resolve this. My contract was then reversed, to my initial package, without my permission. Now "I" must request a downgrade again from the start.

In my 22 years being with Vodacom, this is the first time that I am seriously considering cancelling my contract with them.

Desired outcome: I would have wanted my initial promised contract to be allocated, but will not happen. I then want to be placed back to the Smart XS package as initially requested.

Vodacom Fibre line 3 weeks of 1 week on Bellville Capetown

Vodacom is the Service provider but the fibre line is Vumatel. Every month the fibre line is off 1 week working 3 weeks of I am paying the account phoned 3 times a day have several SRNumbers but still no response. This is a ongoing thing for the last year. They do not whant to cancel although this is a month to month contract. The fibre line is again if from the 3rd of April 21. Even phoned Vumatel they say Vodacom must log the faulty line.

Vodacom Payment

Good day, I have on several occasions e-mailed Vodacom inc with my account. A e-mail was send to them end of December 2020 were i cancelled my Debit Order with them and is paying the account via EFT. They keep on adding R100.88 on my account every month although they received the mail. My account is not and has never been in arrears. In total I have send them about +- 6 mail to sort this problem out and still no response on amending my account. this is the most pathetic service I have ever received from a Service Provider that is so big.

As soon as my contract is due for upgrade I will be cancelling this and I'll make sure the Company I work for cancel all their contracts with Vodacom

Vodacom Fibre -

Good Day

I logged a query with Vodacom on the 7th April 2021 - Ref no. SR210407-426154 and it has not been resolved to date. Apparently I have this new fibre that was installed to me on the 10th March 2021, I tried to use it but the password was incorrect, then I decided not to use it because in my mind I thought that I need to pay for it first before I could use it. My debit date was set on the 26th of every month.

On the 26th of March there was no debit on my account and I decided to contact Vodacom via online services on the 27th March 2021and I asked her why my account was not debited and she told me that, she can see that it was installed but was not activated and they I told her that I thought I had to pay first before I could be activated. She said they won't billed me if my services are not active and she gave me numbers of people I could contact that will help me with activating my account.

A gentleman helped with that process. To my surprise on the 5th of April I receive an invoiced billing me from the 10th March 2021. I have been contacting Vocacome fibre and they failed to assist me and they been sending me from pillar to pillar and this month they charged me R1033 instead of R605 as agreed.

I want Vodacom to refund me R372.88 as they were supposed to charged me from 27th March 2021, the date I activated my services.

Please assist me

Vodacom Vodacom owes me money for months now and no response

I was charged for data incorrectly due to Vodacoms technical error, resulting in me requesting a refund and cancellation of both my lines. Vodacom still invoiced me for the technical fault. Since Jan 2021 I am chasing to have this money refunded, and being given the run around. Can someone please solve this immediately.

Vodacom Fiber relocation activation 3 days and waiting

Relocated booked the transfer then was informed 2-24 hours line will be active still waiting and being weekend the service te technical dep does not work over week ds so I am paying for a service I CAn not use

Phoned several times to resolve each time they say I must give it. More time. When they installed the installers said their was a issue but it was not fixed

Vodacom Internet connection ( slow)

So I'm a content creator. I rely on fast internet connection but I don't know what's wrong with your servers it's just too slow. I lagg to much during stream and also in gaming. Please do something about this. Coz I'm thinking of switching and I guess I'm not the only one. My friends are recommending me to go to other services and I might just will after the contract. I have tried other services and they are so fast. So this is more like saying careful you might lose business by other competitors. But I'm serious you have to fix your servers and provide a smooth internet connection.

Vodacom Contracts

My number has been deleted by Vodacom, on the 26/27th of March without any warning Vodacom decided to delete my number, after letting them know I had no income due to lockdown and loss of income after getting income and making arrangements, Vodacom has deleted my numbers of off their network, having been a loyal customer for years Vodacom decided. I contacted them to find out if the number can be restored I was told I should have known and I have too speak to their lawyers having spoken to them and arranged payment, I was told to call another number only to be told that the number has been scrapped and I cannot get it back. I am willing to pay but it cannot be guaranteed that my number will be reinstated.

Desired outcome: Return of my numbers.

Vodacom Data signal is costing me money!

Vodacom Data seems to be blocked as when I try to do the simplest of things online it tells me that I am either of free mode or it loads the lite version of the site, which then limits the functionality...

Of course, Vodacom has now decided to brush their paying customers off to Tobi, the dumbest chatbot on the planet. I would know as I develop chatbot solutions for many businesses around the world.

The question is why are they allowed to trade, surely if the service they promised is not delivered and it's costing me the money then I should be able to sue this useless company that has now hidden behind a prerecorded voice app.

All that is left to say is Vodacom sucks and because I can demo my solution to clients I have all this time open to post negative review after negative review about these idiots.

Even taking a trip to the Vodacom store to see if they would be able to help me, but the people manning the stores are untrained and know nothing about the service they sell. As far as customer service and deliverability go Vodacom is by far the worst in the world!

Vodacom Repairs job number [protected]

I've upgraded my contract with vodacom on the 12th of March 2021. On the 17th my phone had this strange white line on the right side with about 3 dots in the middle of the screen. As to life far from town, i took my phone in on the 28th of March 2021
JOB NUMBER: [protected] and they send it in for repairs at vodacom. Im still waiting for my phone to come back! Its been gone a long time now! I have subscriptions to pay on my bank card (Huawei music and deezer) in the mean time its just running and i have to pay, but no phone! Also vodacom didn't even say sorry for the inconvenience, nothing! Brand new phone and its been worked on already. And still waiting for my phone to return from repairs since 28 March 2021!

Vodacom Vodacom refuses to cancel our contract

In March 2020, we asked Vodacom to cancel handset insurance, cancel content services, cancel Look 4 services, cancel GameME and to change our email address. None of this was done! Not even updating our email address. In June 2020 we tried again but again nothing was done. In August 2020 we decided to move these 6 numbers to Cell C because they continued to send our accounts to the old email addressed and charge us these services we don't want. We received a call and we made it clear we were leaving Vodacom but instead of cancelling, they rejected the cancellation. We tried again in Dec-2020 to cancel, then again Jan-2021, then again March 2021. I have just been back into the Vodacom and they said that I request to Cancel in March 2021 - has been cancelled AGAIN. Not only are we still being charged all these services but they refuse to cancel our contract and move us to pay as you go. What they are doing is criminal!

Desired outcome: Refund us the months of extra charges we opted out of and cancel our contracts.

I am going through this now. Of course a couple of corrupt government officials are getting pocket money to allow Vodacom to do these criminal acts. I gave up up. Bunch of kants.

Vodacom Vodamail keeps logging me out

Everytime i log into vodamail (https://vodamail.secure.vodacom.co.za/vodamail_ui/#home), via my browser on my pc, it starts loading my mailbox, then an error appears "an service error has occurred" and it logs me out. I have tried logging in using different browsers, and I have the same problem. I have been having the this problem since yesterday morning, 12 April 2021.

Vodacom I’m complaining about the airtime

My mother is using a Nokia phone, not a smartphone, but her airtime is always being missing. Can you please stop chowing her airtime. She's an old person who only dial & receives calls, her number is [protected]. The problem has been persisting for long now. Every time she recharges her airtime is gone, can you please stop whatever is chowing her airtime.

Vodacom Samsung watch

I went to Vodacom shop today to upgrade my phone contract, I saw a promotion that they have in the shop then I opted for it and they only explain few things concerning the promotion as a result I signed the papers .

later when they had opened the products, I saw that this is not what I wanted and I wanted to change the deal but they refused saying I have signed and the product has been opened . now ill be sitting for 24 months for a product that I an not happy with .

In addition to that, the sales person and a manager they are talking different stories .
Please help
