I bought a pair of sneakers online, order o102571348 and when I received the item there was a manufacturing default. I returned the item to truworths n1 city on 12.09.2020 and I honestly don't feel that I should pay the handling fee and shipping fee that was involved when I returned the item, as this is clearly not my fault. So I would like a refund for the handling and shipping fee. Kindly assist.

I was told that I am unable to opt out of promotional SMSs and that I am unable to discontinue my account at Truworths. This is ILLEGAL according to the Federal Trade Commission and must be reported.

I ordered a few garments order number O97944883 on 30 July 2020. Most of the garments came back as out of stock but I received an incorrect size (XL) for the Navy Suede Bomber Jacket. I went to and from the branch (Springbok) because they did not receive any instruction from the online team on what to do. Finally they made contact with Springbok branch and I took the jacket back. They promised that another branch will send the correct size (XXL) but still on 7 September 2020 I have received nothing. I just think it is very bad service that the online team has not followed this up.

I spoke to a customer service agent this morning who called to ask when i'm going to pay my installment for the month. I told the girl I would either go in to a store to pay today or tomorrow. She said that's fine and we ended the call. After that about every 30 minutes I received a calls from customer service asking me the same questions. I am at work where i'm not supposed to be sitting on a phone and here it's ringing off the hook and it's only calls from your agents. Not only is it irritating it is also borderline harrassment. You cannot call someone like 4 times in a row to ask the same god damn questions. Ha and I bet you guys charged me per call on my account too

I made payment in 24 april 2020 via online unfortunate am told that I should make another payment even after I have provided my proof of payment several times.

On the 14th of July I received an email from Truworths to say I'm in arrears by ONE MONTH. I sent an email immediately to apologise for that and I explained my situation. Below is a copy of my email. I'm just absolutely mad, frustrated, disappointment that despite my email, Truworths have been haunting me via SMS's, phone calls because of this. As soon as I have paid off my account I will be closing it as quite frankly I'm being treated like I'm a criminal and I proactively informed you why I am in arrears. Since that date, I've had about 20 phone calls from Truworths. I've had enough. I'm closing my account.

Kindly be advised, I am a long standing customer of truworths my account number is [protected], since january this year 2020, I have changed my address with truworths store in central pietermaritzburg, I have also requested my statements to be emailed to me, to date I have not recieved any statements via post nor emails, however consultants feel the need to constantly call me to make payment on my account to add to this they are rude and threatening with no caliber of professionalism whatsoever, everytime they call me I ask about my statements, they take down my email address but no statements are emailed to me, I have also requested their supervisor to call me but this has not happened either, to date as of today the 25 august I had a call from phindile hlengwa who quite frankly she is calling me to ask about payment nothing else despite me telling her I need my statement to know excatly what is going on with my account and I shall not pay until her supervisor calls me when they do call they say that this call is recorded, I suggest please go back on my calls since january, I have proof that I have been constantly requesting my statements, as a customer I have a right to my statements, I seriously would like feed back on this matter, I am also going to complain about truworths on hello peter and social media about their lack of regard for customers and their incompetent approach to consumers in south afica

Im very furious with truworths. They have handed me over for nothing. I paid via eft during lockdown april and may. When I wanted to buy clothes thinking im up to date they refused. I sent through my proof of payment 3 times already but when I went to pay for the month of august. Apparently the system still looked like I was not up to date. I'm angry because someone is not doing they job at truworths. And I would rather close my account than pay for an account I can even use. On the 21 of May 2020 I settled my account (R2 037.00) at Truworths by online payment where I emailed them proof of payment but unfortunately today on the 15 of August 2020 I received and sms saying I will be handed over to their laywers (MBD) for not paying my account.
Since am a patient with anxiety and depression I have the right to sue Truworths for causing me more stress with their nosense messages.

Made an online purchase today on tuesday after I struggled for weeks because of an error on your service it didn't wanna accept my physical address to make matters worse this morning I received an sms that one of the items I bought its on the way I had to cancel the meetings I had so I will be able to receive the items, guess what a waited and canceled my meeting for nothing. Kindly please give me my refund if this is what its gonna happen in future

I need assistance regarding the Truworths account I used to have which is now being handed over to another company, which I've been struggling for months now to get hold of. It's either the phone rings once and goes silent until I hang up or I'm forever listening to a machine and I never get assisted.

I am extremely dissapointed with my experience at Truworths. I have had fraud on my account where some one has maxed my store limit. My account was paid up with Truworths and I wanted to keep it that way for financial reasons. I have loged a dispute, I have got an affidavit from the police and I have sent all the information required from me. It has been one week and my case is still being investigated. I want this to be resolved and my account closed with Truworths. I trusted Truworths with my personal confidential information which was obviously not protected and I have been a good customer for many years, the lack of urgency is truly dissapointing. This is a very stressful experience.

Earlier today I tried to enter the Identity branch at the Mfula Mall in Piet Retief (Mpumalanga). I was refused entry into the store by the security guard who informed me I was not allowed in as I was not wearing a mask. I was in fact, wearing a BUFF so my face was completely covered. This is probably the ONLY store in the branch who are doing things differently, as none of the others have had issues with this perfectly acceptable face cover.

I would like to know if this is IDENTITY BRANCH POLICY or is it simply the Piet Retief staff and security flexing their muscles and adding to the already unpleasant experience of shopping during the Covid-19 pandemic. I would think that with the economy struggling and being shut for weeks on end, that they would embrace Customers and trade and not refuse them entry.

If it is policy then as a Customer I insist that there should be SIGNAGE to that effect stating that you are not allowed into the store UNLESS you are ONLY wearing a mask.

There are thousands of people wearing buffs as masks, is Identity going to refuse them all entrance to their stores?

I received a voucher from Truworths encouraging me to buy on my account where I get R100 off if I spend R350 or more on my account. I did so before the voucher expired and the discount was applied, however the jersey did not fit me, it was one size too big. I went to Truworths Festival mall and since they didn't have a size either, I had them deliver one via store delivery on my account with the intention of returning the larger size when the smaller one arrives. Today I went to pick up my order for which I was very excited as I absolutely love this jersey and do the exchange, assuming I would pay what I did initially after the voucher was applied since I am litteraly doing a size swop for the exact same jersey I bought initially in order to use my voucher before it expired, only to find out that my voucher now falls away for no good reason since apparently, according to festival mall staff I am returning the "discounted jersey" and my voucher can not be used against the jersey I had ordered via store delivery. This makes absolutely NO sense to me as this would not have been the case if the store had a size Medium in stock and I didn't need to order one, there should be no reason why I now had to pay R100 more if I bought it initially when I had a voucher and only needed a different size of the exact same jersey. Needles to say, I returned both jerseys and now have no jersey and no voucher as it has expired and all to no avail since I used it for absolutely nothing at all. Thank you Truworths for nothing, for having such incompetent staff that they can not understand the simple concept of doing a size swop with no price implications. I am very very disappointed.

I am not happy with truworths, they phone me everyday

I am in arrears with my account my last payment was at the end of the month R1000
I explained there is not other income due to the covid situation, but at least Im trying to make a pyment every month
they harrassing me phoning me more than 3 times a day, with their family makin noices in the back ground this is not on
at least i still working and can make a apyment at least of R500 every month, is not that i had run away and don't apy them at all
I requested they must stop phoning me but they still doe every day on and on and on and on.
the 1st thing I want to do when im done with them is to delete them totally out of my life for ever!
They bring out the worse of me because Im also working in a call center and i cannot answer the calls all the time..

They are ruthless

I paid my account months ago via FET and till today apparently it hasn't reflected on their side because their accounts department is not willing to work.

I communicated with Nwabisa Mtintelwa and Milla Mbombo and they promised to assist however both of them are making me a stupid and they never even bother to respond to my mails.

My credit record has been ruined and now one cares.
I've been waiting for calls and correspondences from their managers and till today no assistance!

I made payments via EFT and paid R1000, but it doesn't reflect that I have made payments. And I went to give the prove 3 times already but I still get harassed by the MBD sms and calls. I was told that the payment department is on lockdown so they cannot allocate my payment. Can I stop receiving sms. Update my account and im getting erias every week
