I requested a payoff letter to be fax to two numbers on 21 November 2025. Several Truist Bank representatives advised me that a fax service request must be submitted and that it will take two business days to be receive. On 26 November 2025, the payoff letter has not been faxed or received. Truist Bank policy only has two methods to receive a payoff letter or any other letter/document (1.A two-day fax request, or 2. A three to four days mail request). For a bank to be limited with getting important documents-information to its customer is unacceptable. A letter or document should be able to forward to a customer's Truist Bank account or email.
Claimed loss: Disapproval of a refinance opportunity with another bank with lower interest rates.
Desired outcome: Readjustment of the 10 days payoff period.
