I have a reservation for MIA-TYO for July 4 with return July 12. I was unaware of the reputation of this company, so I have been calling to change since Tokyo denies a visa for solo traveling. I have called maybe 6 times to change it to anothe date since I pais to be allowed to do so. They never give you an absurd, unbecoming and un professional answer. This time was, "we will consider it and will let know in 48 hours" The last time was we need to think about it"and will let you know". Before it was "you are too close to departure date (!) so we will send you a message (?) the day before departure".

It is outrageous. I paid an addtional $111 to be able to make change. This is just plain cheating. This company should not be able to function. It is a scam.

I am a litigant lawyer and I am determined to pursue this case and ask for punitive damages and cancelling their licence to operate directly or indirectly, through affiliates or any other way, in the US.

Desired outcome: Change flight for 4-12 October. Same route ( should be easy) or reimbursement.

I bought a TKT MIA-TYO-MIA leaving July4th-returning July12/2022. I paid an additional $111+ to change the date, in case Japan did not open its borders for individual tourists. Since it has not happended, I called Travelgenio 4 times requesting to change my dates for October 4-12/2022. They play games. Naive and insuting games so they keep your money. Several answers but nothing concrete. "We have to wait and get back to you"? (!) You are too close to your travel date so we will let you know 24 hours before? (?) We have no supervisor so we can not let you speak to anyone else but me". (!)" we will inform you within 24-48 hours whether the change is possible.0?!) All scam answers. Any decent bussiness changes your reservation without the "delay tactics" to wait until your departure date passes so they keep the money. It is an amazing scam. They treat you as if you are an idiot. In this case, I am a lawyers who get extremely frustrated by scams so I will take legal action and seek to ban then from doing business in the US and report this nonsense to IATA, where ZI hold a post of legal advisor and to its affiliated airlines.

This is the fourth complaint I file against this company but it seems useless. I paid additional to be able to change my date but still they tell me that they will call me in 24 hours and it has been one week of promises. They dont know what they are doing and keep scamming unalerted clients like me. Dont fall for it. This time, I will have no choice but to take them to start legal procedding but, mainly, I want them investigated. All I want is to change a date!

I have been denied a change of dates for MIA-TYO-MIA despites having paid for a flexible ticket. Mi ID is [protected]. I wanted i changed from 12-19 October to 12-19 January. ,That is all. Sale everything except the dates. IF noy, I see no choice but to continue the reviews and follow legal action. I trust there will be a responsible resolution to my case. Carlos Mazal

My ID is [protected]. I would only like to change my reservation to exactly 3 months later that what I have now. From 12-19 October, 2022 to January 12-19 January 2023. I paid extra to make it flexible. Thank you.

This is the perfect way to go broke at times when customer service is key to trust. It is yuor call but you either comply or face the consequences of being aserial liar.
