Unprofesh and not responsive! They never told DREAMS Tulum 'bout my reservation changes and 'cause of that, I paid for 2 peeps (when it was 'sposed to be 1) full price for 4 days. Their rep Kristi Mackedanz, Travel Advisor | Destination Wedding Expert at KM Travel Designs who we sent our money to, wasn't profesh in reachin' out to them either. Here's how it goes..we pay Kristi, she deals with Classic Vacations, then Classic Vac tells the group sales at DREAMS who gonna make the changes to the reservations, but that never happened. I paid full price to Kristi and 4 days later I told her my hubby couldn't come. I gotta mention I paid full insurance! Don't use either biz.

Me and my hubby booked a vacation for a wedding in*** through ***Classic Vacations. The vacay is happenin' December 1-6 at Larimar in***. We booked this in 2019 'cause the weddin' was supposed to be in June . But 'cause of covid, the weddin' got moved and the agency said they couldn't add insurance and told me to buy it from someone else. Since September, I've been tryin' to cancel the vacay 'cause me and my hubby got a lot of health issues. I got skin cancer and had surgery to remove it *** So we can't travel. I've been emailin' back and forth with barefoot for months, but nothin' gets resolved. First they said they'd give us a refund, but now they're sayin' no. This ain't right. We booked a very expensive trip to a resort in *** with a travel agent who used classic vacations to book it. COVID came last year and we put the trip off until exact same time this year. One reason we went with this deal is there was a sizable resort credit per room. We are now being told that the resort stopped offering that credit in June before we booked. So classic vacation either had a separate arrangement with *** or they made a mistake. Either way they need to honor this credit and they refuse to do so. It is $*** per room times three rooms so it is a lot. We would have picked another resort had this credit not been part of it. I have tried to reach someone and you really can't contact them directly and they are telling the travel agent there is nothing they will do and no one will call me back. They are dishonest and bad business practice. I have the confirmation of this credit in writing.

I couldn't go on my trip to Atlantis Bahamas in December as planned. The hotel gave me a credit and told me to reach out to Classic Vacations to make a new booking. I've been trying for months to use the credit, but they keep saying they can't find my reservation. I contacted the hotel again, and they offered me a full refund without any penalties. They told me to contact Classic Vacations for assistance with the refund. Classic Vacations only offered me a refund of $450, which is way less than what I paid. I asked them to explain how they came up with that amount. The hotel confirmed that I should receive a full refund through Classic Vacations. After waiting for days, I didn't hear anything from the Classic Vacations representative. When I finally reached out to her, she told me to call customer service. So, I called and waited on hold for almost an hour, only to have the same representative answer the call. She took my credit card information and said she would contact me soon. It's been 3 days now, and I still haven't received my refund or any further communication from the representative.

We had 5 days at Snake River Lodge in *** Village, Wyoming. We had a misrepresentation of the hotel with our suite and wasted much time to get another room. We asked multiple times for the General Manager, but he or she never came to see us the whole time we were in the suite. We paid a lot for a suite with no amenities. The travel agency that booked it through Classic Vacations misrepresented it to us. We didn't know about any amenities before booking, and we asked for the General Manager to see us so we could make financial amends for the lack of quality, customer service, or pricing. The G.M. never came to us and let the younger staff handle everything without informing him/her or deciding to ignore it and hope we would go away. I wrote to Classic Vacations, who also owed us a *** credit for a fee the hotel charged without our knowledge. I explained the issues we had with the hotel and requested a refund of the almost *** we paid for a hotel that offered nothing. The hotels nearby offered breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We could go to their bar and get served with quality customer service. Unfortunately, this hotel did nothing but charge us a lot without compensating for the lack. I want to report that the 10 emails between myself, my sister, and Classic Vacations are just delaying tactics without resolving the situation. Product_Or_Service: Suite
