I went to Tim Hortons while driving across Ontario Quebec etc and I came across some really bad Tim Hortons outlets which served old lettuce in sandwiches, a smigget of bacon in the blt bun that you couldn’t even taste the bacon! I asked to server to use my credit attached to my account to pay for the goods instead she “loaded up another $5 on to the account! Defeating the objective of using up my credit on the account!
I order one of the items on bowl menu you pay a lot for very little, rice is cold and so is the chicken!
There seems to be no effort by the Tim Hortons staff to make the food enjoyable and often this is leads to cutting corners in which customers suffer and yet pay for it!
And lastly what’s this crazy notion with Tim Hortons reward offer and activation policy! Have you heard of such nonsense by an organization where customers cannot activate the reward multiple times within the transaction and customers have to wait another 30 minutes to reactivate the reward ! Eg I order a coffee with my reward points but I cannot order another one until 30 minutes later .. it does not make sense at all!
It’s all nonsense because if I go out for a coffee with my friend I want to use my rewards to have two coffee not one !
Tim Horton has gone down hill in recent years trying to expand in other menus yet the food has got smaller in portions and higher in costs to consumers. Is that fair ?
Recommendation: You are better off to go to a decent restaurant than waste your money on Tim Hortons as you do not get what you pay for but burns a hole in your pocket !
