food handling
Today at 888 main St east location in Hamilton Ontario I watched one of the male employees at 3 30 pm who was on the baking organized the doughnut with his bare hands and the two other male employees did not say anything to him this is a breach of food handler policy and I will not be ordering from this location knowing that food is handled this way
food quality
I just returned from a shopping trip to Buffalo. Stayed at the hotel on Grand Island for 2 evenings and decided to have breakfast at the Tim Horton's on Grand Island on June 22, 2018. We ordered the breakfast sandwich since neither had tried it before.
HORRIBLE...it was like eating styrofoam. The english muffin was not toasted nor fresh and the meat and egg mediocre warm. I ended up discarding my sandwich.
The lady taking our order was clearly not enjoying her work that day and her disposition was arguably miserable. She neglected to give us our receipt so I am not able to give more details.
coffee, ice tea and lemonade
My daughter & I were traveling on Friday, June 15th and we needed to stop & get something to drink. We stopped at the Tim Horton's on Peach St. in Erie, PA around 9:15 p.m. We were in the drive-thru and my daughter asked for an ice tea. We were told that they do not have any because they are closing at 10:00 p.m. She then order a lemonade and I ordered a medium coffee. We left Tim Horton's, jumped on the thruway immediately. I opened my coffee to drink and it wasn't even warm. The lemonade was just water with a slice of lemon in it! We ended up not drinking either of them because they were disgusting. As for the ice tea...it's just hot tea with ice in it. You mean to tell me that with 40 minutes left to their closing that they didn't have it? We were EXTREMELY disappointed. We both told our friends about this experience and they were shocked! Maybe if you didn't hire the teenagers that were looking to hurry up & get out of work then people would be able to get their orders!
sexual harassment in store
My cousin who is employed with Tim Hortons Defiance, Ohio location. Store manager name is Jennifer and Owner is Elias. While at work my cousin was bombarded by sexually explicit conversation from supervisor Casey Wolf and co workers. My cousin informed me that Casey was talking about my alleged sex life with her best friend. She has also approached my cousin about her ex boyfriend and making reference to seeing my cousin naked. I have reported this behavior to the Store Manager Jennifer who was kind and sympathetic to the situation. The owner however was not so professional or kind. In fact the owner tried to cover for this disgusting employee which leads me to believe he condones this type of behavior. This is definitely sexual harassment and corporate needs to be made aware of how there chain of stores are being represented. My family and I are faithful customers of Tim Hortons and I am appalled by this type of behavior going on in the workplace. Casey also went on to threaten my cousins job which is also against the law. I have proof that this conversation took place from Casey because she was stupid enough to admit it over Facebook. This really reflects poorly on what I believe Tim Hortons stands for, and I believe that is to provide a healthy and sustainable work environment for employees and customers. I would hope the owners are also instilled with core values that serve the people of our community not try and cover up perverse behavior and sexual harassment in the work place.
chicken noodle soup
During long day of work, all you need is to eat something hot and yummy
I bought chicken noodles soup from the close branche to my workplace and just before having my last sip I found a fly
I was about to throw up and felt tummy ache 😖
I am afraid that I already ate more of them since I douted something black while I was eating but I Said it could be one of the spices
I went to the restaurant right-away after work and asked for the manager
A young girl came and took me he is not available now and offered me help
After telling what happened to me she said sorry 😐
Really! And I will give you a refund ?
Do you think it's enough for that brand that i always trust and let my kids eat from
lid problems
AGAIN today I had the 'bad lid' experience with a Hortons coffee cup. For heavens sake can you not take a page from McDonalds and UPGRADE the lids so that you are not in the embarrassing position that I was in today. Having a Tims coffee prior to going into a meeting, took a drink, the lid leaked all over my white blouse !
Not the first time it has happened, AND, i will not go back. McDonalds has my business.

coffee and wait time
Ever since the previous girl you had at the gas station at king George and 72av in Surrey.
The girl that took over needs more time to get trained.
A lot of customers were annoyed today at the service and waiting time, and they never say good morning or how can I help you today anymore.
Till fixed I will go to macdonalds for a coffee starting tomorrow.
Sorry
service
I was travelling from Windsor to Burlington and I have a special food for my son but it was cold and it's in plastic container with cover (save to go to microwave). So I did ask the employee her name is Anna( she refused to heated for me), However other restaurant acceptable that request with a nice attitude as human resource. I aware the policy doesn't make them do that(manager mentioned that)but the thing is bother me like if I don't keep the food inside the container with cover probably the policy in this case it's correct! In the mean time the big company like Tim Horton and located in traveling area should be more comfortable with the customers !as they are want to achieve a really customer service ! So hopefully you take my request in a series complaints. The location is before exit 149 (coyne road, Currie road Dutton).
staff
June 17 2018 - 865 West Broadway.
This company is a mess. Can't submit a complaint more than 50 letters. Clearly shows how little they care.
I normally don't write complaints but being in the store for 1 hour allowed me to impressively witness an array of issues issues.
1) Staff collectively don't care about anything.
2) Staff has poor communication skills. I'm all for immigrant workers, but the most basic of question are not understood.
"Is there pork in the chili" had all the staff looking at each other in confusion. I don't believe that's a question that people working at the front desk should understand.
3) Someone was likely hurt in the bathroom. Door was not opening for almost an hour. They COULD NOT CARE LESS. They is a serious legal issue, the lady at the counter said "I don't care, i'm busy, wait till someone comes and opens it".
4) Asking if the yogurt had sugar was apparently too much. I was told no, only to give it back after I bought it because it clearly had plenty of sugar in it.
She was the manager, after working at the counter for 3 years, you should know if your yogurt has sugar in it ... wtf
allowing non-paying customer to sit for hours at their restaurant
A man is sitting here with a Haagen-Dazs container and his head's on the table sleeping. So unsanitary for me to come to this place if someone is allowed to sleep on the table. I mentioned it to one of the workers and they got the manager who said something to him and he still not moving. As well, there's a mentally ill woman that comes here regularly and just sits at a table and doesn't buy anything. It's obvious she's mentally ill just staring into space. And then there was the case of the homeless person who died in one of the Tim Hortons on Broadway Street in Vancouver. Seems like these coffee shops are the new homeless shelters. Would you please let me know what your policy is on allowing people to sleep and sit for hours at your Tim Hortons without purchasing anything?
drink missing coffee and if a machine is broken should let customers know ahead of time
I went to the Location at 4700 Military Rd Niagara Falls ny 14305 and the line in the drive- thru was really long so I was going to to inside but the line was even longer so I got back in line at the drive-thru to get up and order my drink just to find out the latte machine was broke. I then proceeded to go down to another location 2720 Military Rd Niagara Falls NY 14304. THhe line was very long as well but I waited received my drink got home and found out they forgot to add coffee to my latte, so all I received was a large cup of steamed milk. Very frustrated with Tim Hortons.
employer / franchise owner
Today,
Franchise owner DWAYNE of Tim Hortons hardwood in Ajax, ON- inappropriately spoke to employees over the usage of a leaking sink which has water leaking into the ice machine .
The owner Dwayne yelled profanities at workers and left without speaking in a professional manner over a leaking sink which is the RESPONSIBILITY of the owner to FIX as this place as a major HEALTH AND SAFETY RISK.
Upon employee leaving from feeling unsafe at work as well as have a family emergency, the managers of the franchise threatened worker "if you leave this means you don't come back".
This incident goes against employees rights! And we will be taking this to corporate for further investigation.
employee
I ordered 2 sandwiches when my order was called out I raised my hand and the employee gave it to another customer. He opened the bag rummaged through it and said this wasn't his. The employee gave it to me and I said I wanted a new one because I didn't t know the man who touched it he didn't have gloves on and I don't know where his hands have been. The customer was mad and so was your employee they basically thought it was funny the customer said your not taking that cause I touched it? I said yes I would have done that to Amy stranger. He proceeded to cough 4 times in my direction as your employee smirked! So you really think this ok for me to take food touched by someone else ? I'm pretty certai this is unacceptable and could be reported by the health department. For your employee to smirk at the man coughing by me was disgusting behavior!

The trays that you give now for coffee are no good...when getting 4 coffee it is not storng enough i have lost more coffee than enoiugh carryibg from car to house and have it spillling on my clothing to..tray get soaked and will not hold the cups. We buy anywhere from 8-12 xl a day...no lidding...between my son and I for 3 people. Just a suggestion...could a try not be made of a durable plastic or something even if we had to pay a depoit and coffee handed to us to put in our tray or something...something more durable! I ahve to ask for 2 trays ... and its a toyal waste...we have quote the collection on compost days...it may not be feasible for my idea BUT could you at least get a stronger tray..tired of paying over 2$ for coffee only to have spill...if you would like to respond to my suggestion please email ...Roxanne llewellyn at [protected]@live.com...thank you and I really hope that you take this seriouly as I DO! I am wasting money, time and energy buy buying your coffee...it is not cheap when buying as many as we do...thank you for your time
overcharged and rude employee
Tim Hortons - 152 Street & 104 Ave Surrey, BC June 7, 2018 @ 7 pm
I was going through drive thru on my way to work ( working 12 hr shift)... ordered an XL coffee and a muffin. When I drove up to cashier to pay, the cashier quoted $4.07... I asked if the price of coffee went up as I usually pay $3.76... the cashier looked around and asked the other employee "ELMA"... "Elma" approached me at the window and stearny and unfriendly stated $4.07...I asked again why it was $4.07 when the day prior and always ordering the same muffin & coffee I always pay $3.76... Again "Elma" looked at me and said $4.07... I paid, asked for a receipt and took her name. I received my order and drove away.
I would like to say as a regular customer to Tim Hortons, going 5- 6 days a week sometimes twice a day as I work 12 hr shift work... This staff "Elma" should be encouraged to participate in a "Customer Service" course/ in service.
Also If this staffed overcharged me... how many more customers did she overcharge as well? Who is making the extra $$$...
Also I have receipts!
customer service
I had coffee from Tim Horton's this morning after 4:30 am and I strongly because their was something in the coffee. when I was walking home from Tim Horton's I felt dizzy ready to pass out and almost lost my balance when walking. somebody came by and ask me if I was OK. I told that I can make it home. I think that I was drugged. Muslim man must have put something in the coffee because I have been to coffee shop since 1997 in BC and never felt this way from having coffee. I could not drink all of my coffee.
I want a judicial review on customer service, district managers, company owners, senior management for extremely poor racist customer service. I do not think that I am going back to Tim Horton's again because of overt, systemic and institutional racism.
I want an apology, financial compensation and justice this week.
I am waiting for a response from Tim Horton's head office public relations and communications department for justice in my case.
service
Hi, I'm Seungyeon Kim from Buffalo.
On June 14th, I went to Tim Hortons where is in Buffalo Niagara Airport about 10:25 am. I ordered #5 of breakfast menu as a meal. So after I made a payment, I picked up my orange juice and waited for the bagel sandwich and side menu, hash brown. But the people who ordered later than me started to get their food and drink. So I went to one of the workers( white woman and she was making food) and asked about my order. And she looked up the screen and said there is no my order. So I went to the cashier and told about the situation. And they started to make my sandwich. However, when I got my sandwich, my flight boarding already started. And they didn't seem like make my side menu. So I just had to leave the store for my flight. The problem is they didn't even say anything and care about my situation. They should have apologized to me. That was all I want. But they did NOT. So I asked to get a refund for that. I'm very disappointed this time.
Thank you,
Seungyeon Kim

If you allow same staff to continue to work at this place, this location will be bankrupt soon. I have been going there for past two months, very poor service, staff chit-chat while there is a huge queue. First I would fire the manager who does not have any experience in client service. Today, while I was in a queue 2 people, walked away and when I addressed this to the front staff they were not bothered. I will never visit this location again.
Thanks

I had ask for bagel sandwich with egg and vegetables and NO BACON still they gave me bacon on it . When I told them you have given me bacon on it when I said I don't want, they just simply replace it . This is not done . This is against my religion and my values .iwant you take strict action or am going to court . Am a religious person and having bacon is a sin .
